Montanawish,

I was plannning on reposting the basic information, so here it is.

It will happen on March 17th, 6:36 PST, and will be at 15 Sagitarius 17 at the time. It will turn direct again on August 23rd at 9:06 AM PDT at 12 Sagitarius 36. About 13 hours just before that, at 3:45 AM, Mars will conjunct Pluto, so the effect can be extremely powerful.

So, for people who have planets between 12 Sag 36 and 15 Sag 17, or in Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces, there will be a review of what Pluto stands for.

Love

Dave

Aries,

Oh yes, your daughter's emotions are being tranformed - now, that does mean that they are "bad" - she could be learning positive things about them from you - but yes, it could mean an interest in boys - hey at one time, you got interested!

Pluto transforms - that is the basic message, and its review time!

Love

Dave

Gemini,

It will affect you when it get close to the end of the retrograde in August. I talked about its effect on you elsewhere - I think on the Saturn goes direct thread.

Ash1e,

Well right now it is opposing your Sun and ascendant, and will continue to do so for the rest of the year - this means that you are having a major transformation in your life, and going back to school is a very productive positive means of expression of this energy.

Thanks

Hi everyone,

I had thought that with my moon being at 16 degrees in Sag it would effect my emotions, and I will admit that I have had days when I don't feel like I even know myself, but my Leonian Mercury at 14 degrees seems to be taking the impact.

I would say that I am changing, somewhat, in the way I express myself. Or more to the point, I have come to a place where I am realizing that I have given others far too much control over how I express myself. I am hoping that this vibration will maximize the environment so that I may take back that control.

My new boss said something about developing the voice of the writer. I'd hate to let someone else take over so they could strip me of everything I have that makes me a unique communicator.

Well, here's wishing you all a real nice retro. (Or, at the very least, a tolerable one.)

I was wondering though. With Pluto doing all of this in Sag, would this be the kind of period where fate just seems to be inclined to play a joke on us? Like for example, Aries mentioned the possiblity of her daughter falling in Love. Could it be that someone with that aspect could suddenly fall in love with a person who had driven them crazy for half their life? You know the last person you would ever expect to have feelings for.

Love and Laughter,
borderCAT

Hi Dave .
Em Pluto will be retrograde in the 2nd house and exactly squaring the natal 15 degrees venus in Virgo in the 11th house on the chart for the day I was born. What does this mean.
Is there any more significance when Venus is the chart ruler (the ascendant)?
Venus is going retro in the 7th house.
What does this mean for relationships?
Thanks .

Mavis,

Pluto squaring Venus means that they way you love is being transformed. And since your Venus is in the 12th house, it will be somewhat an inner revelation rather than an overt one. And if you let the changes happen rather than fight them, then you will be OK.

As far as the Venus retrograde, it covers both the 7th and 6th houses, but does not aspect anything, so it will be simply a tome for reflection for you.

Thanks

Mavis,

Venus is in your 12th house according to the Koch house system, but it is very close to the cusp, so it may well indeed be in the 11th according to another house system.

Hi There Dave!

Ok so doing the math........My Gemini Mars squares my Virgo Sun and Moon...and there is a sextile to my Pluto...(a soft one at 67 deg.)...my Rx north node is in the middle of the mess........
so do I want to buy life boats? or fire extinguishers?

Which takes me back to my Venus Rx question....I can see in my natal chart that this Mar's Rx will be affecting my 9th 11th and 12th house...but how do I knOw which houses they are in now?

Am I asking this the right way?...it seems that the chart for NOW and the natal chart are two different things right?

So which transiting house is more important to learn about? The natal or the one for NOW? and what exactly is the difference?

And do you put them together like a compatability chart to see what you need for NOW?

Thanks for you help!

Dani

Ah!!!

I wandered down a different road because you had said anyone with planets in Virgo, Gemini or Pisces would have a review of what Pluto stands for...you also mentioned certain deg. of Sagg.....my Jup is in Sagg..but it is at 25..14' in the 3rd.

So I was pondering the aspects between all the planets you mentioned in my chart and how they all play together...or not together as the case may be.

After sleeping on it...I had to re-read it all to remember my question!!!

All of this is like when you are trying to remember someones name and it's on the tip of your tongue...but the harder you try to remember the further it slips away...really gets on my nerves...there seems to be no end to my questions...and each answer gives me a new question!

thanks for all your patience!!!!

Love,

Dani

I just looked at a transit chart on Astronet. Is it really true that BOTH venus and pluto rx's will hit me in the 5th house?

Or am i reading chart wrong?

This should be fun

Kitty,

It is a generational aspect, and unless itis tied into other transits of Pluto (or any other planet), I don't make that much of it. It would mean that there is the opportunity to transform the dreams that one has, and the house that the conjunction is in points to where it is.

Thanks

Dear Dave,
Just wondering how this Pluto retrograde will fit me. You said it would affect people with planets between 12 and 15 Sag? My Saturn is about 14* Sag in the 3rd house. I also have planets in Pisces: Sun, Venus, and Mercury. My Pluto is in 12th house, and it is retrograde at 21 Leo 2.
I have been waiting for "something" to happen or be revealed to me. Do you think this might be it, the Pluto rx? If so, I am willing to be a human guinea pig for everyone here to see what happens with the Pluto rx!
Could you comment?
Love,
Sleepy Fish
P.S. Please excuse my continuing ignorance. I am learning astrology slowly.
P.P.S. also I note the retrograde begins on March 17, an 8 date and I am a 4. Wouldn't Linda have said something about that?

SleepyFish,

Yes, the Pluto retrograde is affecting you - it is conjunct your Saturn and square your Sun - all of the rest have had the Pluto square earlier in the past. So, it is dealing with the transformation of your life and its structure, particularly in how you communicate and with work and health matters.
Yes, Linda would have said something about it, but I am not into numerology very much so I can't comment.

This will be the second (and only retrograde) pass of the this transit - the final one will happen at the end of the year. So this one is one to reflect on the seed thoughts that have been set, and the final results will be known later.

------------------
Thanks

Dave

Dear Dave,
Did search--is it true that Pluto last went retrograde approximately this time last year on 3/15/2000? If so, I am freaked out. It sure would fit my life. I expect the continuation this time. When will the next retrograde of Pluto be after this one ends, please? Thank you.

Dave,

I guess Pluto would effect someone with Sag at 15 degrees 18', as you said above that it would effect Aries' daughter - right? Also, my Moon is at 12 degrees 24', is that too far off for me to feel the effects?

Thanks,

Kelly,

Yes, I missed it - so thanks for reminding me. When Pluto gets back to its retro station point, it will be opposite your Moon (again!) for the last time - so it will be the opportunity to finalize the transformations of your emotions.

Dear Dave,

Could you please take a look at my chart:
1st June 1980
1204 hrs
Singapore
Funny I feel as though I'd been having a crash course on transforming from 1996 til now in every area possible.. any explanation would be greatly appreciated...

and also, Saturn, the great teacher and Lord of karma enters Gemini in April... I have some idea the effect it would have on me as an individual but could you explain the implications on a macro level? Specifically, what sort of impact on media and communicatons?
Thanks a heap...

Lots of love,
yaping

Pluto over the last few years has been opposing your Sun and squaring your Mars, but it was over last year, and will not return. At this point Pluto will not be aspecting anything until 2003-2004 when it will square your Saturn which will bring transformations in the structure of your life and family.

Saturn will be entering your 10th house of careers and will be there for some time, and at about the point it will conjunct your Sun later this year, it will retrograde, so it will provide some structuring to your life.

As far as Saturn being in Gemini and communications, it will give a great deal of structure to them, and I would see over the next few years some shake outs and positive structuring of the industry, especially computers (maybe all of the bugs will get fixed! - HAH!)

Thanks

Dave

Wow, that so fast, Dave! Thanks!

No wonder I feel like a completely different person.... less of airy Gemini and more of earthy Virgo...

I really hope you're right about the bugs

The reason I asked about Saturn and communicatons was because I found my new-found job environment(advertising/marketing) to be absolutely chaotic.
Normally, I'm adaptable but this time, my instincts seem to be screaming at me that something's wrong...
I used to think advertising has to be "the job" for me but now, I feel like a square peg in a round hole...

I'm wondering if the industry in going thru re-structuring as a whole and I should stay until "the storm passes" or if it's Saturn in my 10th house affecting me on a personal level, telling me it's not for me...?
what do you think? Thanks again..

Lots of love,
yaping

Yaping,

Saturn isn't quite there in your 10th - yet - it will be there about May. Jupiter is now there, and is conjunct your Sun, so that would explain the "expansion" - and when Saturn comes in some more structure will becaome evident.

Thanks
