Dear Knowflakes,

I know this is sort of late to be posted, but the University of the Seven Rays will be having their annual conference from March 19th to the 25th. Below I have posted a flyer which I received about it from them in PDF format.

Naturally I am going (and speaking), and will report from it to all of you as it is ongoing. When the conference program is finalized I will post it in this thread as well.

If it is not apparent, I won't be around too much during the conference, and Auriel has generously agreed to cover...

My schedule is:

March 18th - leave for one of my sisters who lives fairly close to the conference site.

March 19th-21st - a preconference on astrological interpretation which I probably will be involved in.

I during this time will be able to check in from time to time as a friend has agreed to let me use his laptop.

March 21st-25th - the conference - won't be around much.

March 25th-26th - back to my sisters.

March 26th - come back home - will get back in the early evening.

Hello everyone,

Well, I made it to the conference site, and had a very intensive day of esoteric astrology yesterday. As per usual, the hotel (name withheld on purpose so nobody gets sued!) is crappy, and out in the middle of nowwhere. However, it has been very good so far to reacquaint myself with some friends that I haven't seen in two years, and have met some new people as well.

Well, I am back at my sisters (we just got back before the snow started). In some senses it was a good conference and in other senses it was not.

I did get a book on esoteric astrology (in part) which has some fascinating things about Vulcan and also the solar system in general, and the author is going to email me the book so it will be easy to post - so, it should be up in the middle of next week.

Auriel - you told me what happened when I called you back - right - it is really interesting!

Dear Knowflakes,

I just wanted to give a quick report. As I mentioned earlier, the hotel was a nightmare, both individually and for the conference. It was far enough away from a major airport that a lot of people who would have come didn't, but that there were some very key people that I had not met before that I will be working with in the future. And the preconference where we (5 of us) analyzed the charts of people was really great.

For many reasons, the main conference was not that great, and rather than bitch in public about it, I am going to email my comments to the people responsible for it.

Next year - I don't know. There are two other conferences coming up (one in June in LA) and the other in New Zealand in October which I would love to go to, but I am not sure I can as yet...
