This question is based on a book Im reading now,but are these conferances timed with the Vernal Equinox? and as I imagine they are,why wouldnt it have "gone better" based on the esoteric philosophy??

There are a number of reasons, most of which I won't go into. I did get an email from someone who had thought of going, and her comment to me is that there was no attention paid to the astrology of it, particularly since it always begins on the Wednesday nearest the New Moon. She pointed out to me while that she does pay attention to esoteric astrology, she also pays attention to the mundane part of it as well, and that the last aspect before the conference began was Moon square Saturn. And esoterically, that is not good also!
