Dear Knowflakes,

This is going to be a fun topic (for a change!). A recent post on the forum reminded me of the "question" that I am posing. I might add that this is not the first time that I have asked this question, and the responses I have gotten in the past have been fascinating. One last thing - some of you may recognize what "this is" and all I can ask is that you follow the spirit of the author who originally asked it! At some point, I'll let you know what the author thought it was.

Love

Dave

Good Morning Dave!

Funny question
My first impression is that it is the hat the "Man with the Big Yellow Hat" from Curious George wears.
My son says it's a green potato chip.

It could be ...

Daisy's googoos under her blankie.

A sweatshirt of one of thinkerbell brother's after she wore it.

Neph and Shell setting up a tent at Flat Rock.

The urinal that fell off the wall of the space needle in the earthquake.

A radiogram of Vulcan's orbit around the Sun.

But I think it is ...

What my coffee pot does on the counter every so often.

This definitely appears to be the visible part of a double bass.

On the other hand, even more likely, perhaps it's a creation of your subconscious intellect, a revealing self-portrait!

Darwin, you are too funny.
Hey--it is a snake. See it's eye? But WHAT is in it? It is very crudely drawn, with the snake out straight like that--that's why I can't guess!!!!!!

Dear Knowflakes,

Hey, they've been great so far! (especially the one about the radiogram of Vulcan's orbit!) I'm going to let this go a while further!

Aries,

Tough! Yes, there are some clues on GAIA's latest thread, and both of us have deliberately decided to keep the "mystery" as it is. She understands all too well why I asked this question (and the real clue is in the book from which it comes, and neither one of us are telling which book (and please if someone else does know, don't let it out) as the author is making a really beautiful point about life). So, I will for now keep it a mystery...

Love

Dave
