OK Dave,my progressed venus has been on my natal Sun for a while now, and coming up in a couple days,transiting Venus will be conjuncting natal Venus..where is the "man"??? ITs starting to look like astrology is a bunch of baloney What gives?? Wheres the cowboy that is supposed to "take me away"??..ok kidding, but heres the REAL question..
Dave,could you take a look at how travel may be for my daughter(you have her info) for Jan 6- returning Jan 16 please. It looks like transiting Venus is trining her Saturn maybe tomorrow? and I tried to bring up her "map" that you posted a while back but comp keeps konking out...I think there was a Neptune or node line in the area where she is going. Ive already told her she may meet someone she "knew" before and she understands that, but how do other things look? Its her first time away from her mommy(without other family members being around)..Im sure boys will show somewhere , thats a given...thanks.

Also you have placed many qualifications on this imaginary Cowboy. So you will probably have to go looking in all the right places.

I did a statistical run through of the chances of meeting a certain type. Oregon represents 1% of the population of the US. It came out to 2.5 chances in a life time. I now need luck as I have had three, well, actually, 2.5. Very difficult to change an average and numbers don't lie.

I think you would do very well in Texas. About 8 chances left, adjusting for age, in Dallas.
That's very good odds. On average you will meet the first Cowboy in 2-6 years.

Your daugther should be OK - the transiting Sun and Mercury are in her house of travel, so at least you should hear from her! he Venus trine Saturn is a decent aspect, as she will not fall head over heels in love, although as you know Pluto is past her Moon in the 7th house. You know that at some point you have to start letting go...

As for you, geez, Tinkerbell and Proxymoon may have something there!

I know this is an old thread, but it ties in with our Uranus talk on another thread. My 2 lovers this year were both met under the Uranus happenings. One was a "challenging" Uranus thing. And this new one was under Uranus trine Moon. Anyhow, i'm just telling you this because in both cases they were people that were right under my nose- in the latest case someone that i had known for 3 years, lives a block from me, i had repeatedly said "NO" to him.
And here's Uranus forcing me to open my eyes?
Think about it. Anyone you wrote off, wait til Uranus and look around again.

ok Hiareth..WHO are you and what are you doing in my head??? Re: your thread at star chat,same thing may be happening here,under my nose for nearly 3 years.If thats a Uranus thing...its too weird! Now I know this is a "sign" but a sign as to what is the question HAHA!-theres a lot of good Saturn contact along with a few other aspects and transits in both charts to show learning here.

I just looked at Uranus transits in my man's chart, and guess what? It's sextiling his Moon exact in 2 days!!! He's been under a Ven tri Ur transit for awhile now, but it's getting out of the past 2* range at about the same time as the Ur sx Mn. So... should I show up at his door or something? Heehee

well yes,since its the planet of unexpected change, you could show up at his door wearing nothing but a fur coat..that may give him an unexpected heart attack tho and it would bring some truth to the transit!!

Compelling someone to do something? That is in my book not good, and leave open the door for some heavy karma to come back to you. Uranus sextile the Moon is a nice sweet tickler to rouse the emotions. And since I don't really know much about the relationship, and since Auriel handles those types of things, I am not going to say anymore.

What Aries & Hiareth had said above got me wondering about that. I starting to get into/learn more about transits & progressions, but just bought some books, and it is slow going...

I read on one of the other threads, i forget which one that Uranus causes us to look at someone our "heads" wouldn't let us consider.
And i think maybe it was MS AVC (?) said her best friend met her 12 years younger husband under a Uranus transit.
Someone else told me things started under Uranus don't last. BUt i'm not a fan of NEVER and ALWAYS.
