I was wondering if you could tell me, in so many words, what that might entail... I also found out that I have many other icky karmic ties with him... But we don't need to go into that... I'm just curious about what the Venus/North node conjunction means in synastry... Thank you!!!

Yeah... I'm actually hoping that his north node sitting on top of my Venus DOESN'T mean all that much... Since he's an idiot... Sorry if I sound bitter. It's strange... My Mars is in Leo, and his Venus is in Aquarius, and then my Venus is in Virgo, and his Mars is in Virgo, though none of those aspects are very close. Plus he has a stellium in Virgo, and his Saturn is sitting on top of my Mercury. *sigh* Damn his Cappy charm!!! You know what? I think I've decided to give up on boys completely and become a nun... Yes, that's right a nun... Oh wait... No, I wouldn't survive that. Anyway... I'm just trying to figure out exactly what this conjunction means, since it's in the EXACT degree of my Venus... Not because I still like the guy... Because I don't.

Maybe you'll have better luck with your guy though...

I've got a Venus Sq Mars AND a Venus Opp Mars with the guy I've got the node conjunctions with, and I know how it feels One minute he's the sexiest, most charming and attractive man you'll ever meet, the next minute he REPULSES you, and you despise him for making you so mad!

And I hate to burst your "hoping it doesn't mean all that much" bubble, but I think the nodal conjunction with Venus is a biggie, I'm afraid ... he's been "magnetized" to you for a reason, that's for sure!

Yeah... A Leo Mars woman couldn't be a nun... But Virgo Venus woman could sure want to sometimes!!! You see, I have Leo Mars and a retro Venus in Virgo... The Venus says "Give up on boys!!!" and the Mars says "You know you can't!!!" So I end up torn...

And I guess I'll have to tell you a little bit of the story with me and this guy for you really to understand... Basically what happened was I met this guy at this campout that I went to with my friends... We had a little makeout session that night, which was REALLY strange for me (being the EXTREMELY cautious Virgo that I am) and the next day he acted like he wanted to maybe make it into something more... But by the time Monday hit, he was ignoring me. It wouldn't have been so bad if he had just left it at the makeout session... But he did call back to apologize that Tuesday... And said he just wanted to be friends... *sigh* And so now we ARE friends, but I can't decide whether I like him or hate him... So I do a little of both...

Anyway... You ask what kinds of karmic ties he has with me? Well, first of all... Besides his NN just being conjunct my Venus, it is ALSO conjunct my MC and Sun (Venus at 0 degree of Virgo, MC at 1st degree, and Sun at 2nd degree)... And, his Saturn is also conjunct my Mercury by one degree. Which means, I have a lesson to learn from him... *sigh* There's probably more... But I haven't really looked at it too closely... And I don't really remember it off the top of my head... Sometimes, I just don't want to know. lol. The Venus/NN conjunction is already too much for me...

Wow ....your story of you and that guy - MAN, I've been there & done that! OUCH (My Mars in Leo has also been known to "overrule" all cautious thought at times! ) And I've got a Leo Sun and Sag rising, too, so all thoughts of "tomorrow" tend to go out the window if I let my Mars lead the way, haha

Yeh, karma-wise, sounds like there's a few lessons involved with you and this guy , and his North Node CJ your Sun and MC too? Hmmmmm ... I'm curious to hear what Auriel has to say about THAT!

PS - hey, Auriel - if you're readin' what sort of weight do you apply to nodal aspects OTHER than the conjunction? How about trines and squares and stuff?

Randall and kids get my time on weekends. I was no where around. I live on the computer Monday through Friday and don't touch it on weekends, unless I have to.

If other aspects in the chart support it, NN conjunct Venus shows you're headed for each other in a romantic relationship. You'll have a draw to each other that you may not understand. Good luck with him, Carrie! Saturn conjunct Mercury means he can stifle you from talking but also means he can be a solid support to what you have to say. It depends on how you use it and the transits at the time. Remember, the conjunction works both ways and isn't all harsh or all soft.

Thank you for the info Auriel!!! I was just kind of curious as to what it might mean... I kinda just want to be done with the guy, but since he's friends with all of my friends, that's kind of impossible. But it's alright... I'm getting over it... He is a good FRIEND anyway... I do honestly doubt that anything will come of it though. But, as karmic ties always do, the whole thing taught me a good lesson... Don't kiss boys on the first night.

I saw the FUNNIEST sight last night... Have you ever seen 3 Cappies in love?... Well, not in love... Just flirting. Well, I have several Cappy friends... That guy included. He, this other Cappy guy, and this girl were ALL flirting last night. It was SOOO funny because when I left the room to go out to eat, the last thing I saw was the guy I DID like on one side of this Cappy girl, and the other Cappy guy on the OTHER side of this Cappy girl. One of them had his arm around her, while the other was attempting to charm her, and she wasn't leaning one way or the other. Both of the guys were trying to outdo eachother, and she wasn't giving in to either of them!!! I think it was the funniest thing I've seen in a LOOONG time!!! I actually find it more funny to sit back and watch the Cappy guy that I DID like fall flat on his face with all these different girls because he tries too hard. Oh well... His loss. There are plenty more boys where THAT came from...
