my personal research into twin souls has come come up with the following:
The man's moon is often conjunct or trine the womans venus, sometimes opposite.
The woman's sun is often conjunct or trine the man's mars or opposite.
The sun of the one will be on the decendant of the other.
OR the ascendants will be opposite
OR the ruler of the descendant of the one is conjunct or trine the sun of the other.
Also the pluto of the one must make an aspect to the venus of the other, many times it is even an oppossition.This should be both ways.
Many times your first true lover was your soul mate.
I know my soulmate but sadly enough we have parted and he is still alone, refusing to admit he needs me. Anyway i hope this was some help to you. Love, Paz

hi obsessed. Yes,Ive had that "knowing", not in meeting only one person, but a few now. Which is why I dont personally cotton to the twinsoul theory, but I could possibly understand the "many pieces" idea.

My natal chart has a jupiter/neptune/node conjunction in the 11th trined venus in the 3rd which may be of significance in meeting karmic soulmates.

I see...thought it was a case for inspector cat!!! The case of the dissapearing posts

Hi Tiamat, and welcome to LindaLand.

You have some strong "soul mate" aspects with both of these people, as you seem to be aware. This is perfectly normal, as Linda has said, we may have many soul mates or twin souls in this life ... and these are not necessarily "romantic" relationships, although they can be. They are people with whom we have shared past life experiences and who have something to teach us (and vice-versa) in this lifetime.

It is important to realize that identifying a person as a twin soul or soulmate does NOT mean that is "the one and only true love of your life." If that were the case, we would all have to be polygamous! If you are in a loving and committed marriage, it would be a mistake to call that into question because of finding someone else you share soul-mate aspects with ... even if it appeared that those aspects were stronger than the ones between you and your spouse! Soul mates have much to teach each other in many areas of life, and marriage/romance is just one of these areas.

I read that real Twin Souls are very complicated and precious (Relationship Signs).

By strong soul mate aspects I mean the ones you've already recognized ... including those listed inthe "Love Aspects" chapter of Relationship signs. And of course Lind put special emphasis on the Venus-Pluto trine as a deep karmic/soul mate aspect (which you have with both of these men).

Linda's own use of the terms Twin Sou, Soul Mate, and Twin S-elf evolved over the years. In Love Signs, one of her earliest books, she did not make the distinction between Twin Souls and Twin S-elves that she did later, and what she calls Soul Mates there seems to be what she call Twin S-elves in her later works. She mentions this distinction in Star Signs, Gooberz and Relationship Signs -- perhaps the clearest statement comes from her original Love Signs Profile manuscript (which became the basis for Relationship Signs), where she writes:

Hi Tiamat..I can understand and relate to your confusion. The truth is, they are both soulmates! And as Linda explained via Greg, they are for learning and growing together with.
What is amazing and interesting in these scenarios is the "point of meeting" charts. You will without a doubt see node, saturn and possibly pluto action when you met this new friend.
Of course,you arent meant to split from your husband over this, nor are you meant to do anything in a secretive fashion which will always come back to haunt you and make for karmic situations again to be worked out. Intent to deceive, or hurt another is of the utmost importance in these matters. Its all about free will.

If you were to look at the synastry wheel of you and this new man, you will probably notice 12th house action, and things like ones saturn in the others 5th house for illicit romance, and 2nd/10th/6th house action if you are meant to work together on something..etc and so on it goes. Many times we come together NOT for the reasons we may first think.

You will probably also notice "soulmate" aspects between your husband and this other man.. I see that often in a 3-way scenario.
Good luck in working out the karma and dealing with the learning process. Its not easy,and you have my sympathies. You will experience severe highs and lows.
In the end,its all about proper free will choices.

I was totally confused. Now I understand difference between soul mates and Twin Selves.
I looked at my “brother” yesterday. We have very close relationship.
He is my soul mate too :

His Sun, Merkur conjunct my moon
His Moon, Mars, Pluto conjunct my Pluto
Neptun conjunct Neptun
His Venuse conjunct My ascendant
My Venus trine His Pluto and
His Venus trine My Pluto
My Merkur trine his Saturn and so on.

I have one question. Do you know some really Twin Selves like Romeo and Juliet ?

His Saturn trining my Pluto

His Mars conjunct my venus and mercury
His Venus conjuct my sun
His Sun trine my moon
His Moon conjuct my pluto
His Pluto in opposition with my venus and mercury
His jupiter sextile my venus and mercury

and his birthdate is the same 3 numbers as my Chaldean name numbers.... Exactly, only reversed
