I think this may be the correct place for this topic. I have been following the story I imagine like most Americans. I have been on holiday and yesterday was reading on CNN that he had been killed. I knew that would be the case. One of the reporters viewed the tape and it was eluded as to what happened.

God I was sickend, horrified and all those other words and I am not American.
But it is so hard. I then started to feel guilty about my feelings for this when I know that every day around the world there are far worse acts of barbarism and thousands die every day from disease and famine. Were my feelings only so strong because of the media coverage given to this case???
It is a sick act of revenge but then "collateral damage" happens every day. But I don't want to step back from these things and not feel outrage because that would breed indifference and that is dangerous.
It is all such a mess and can be incredibly overwhelming to a Cancerian ( )But where will it all end???

Unfortunately,this doesnt "end" soon enough for me. I should add, we MAY yet see a peace..but it will be "false".
What we CAN do is gain the knowlege of whats going down..and best learn in a spiritual sense how to handle the energies. We can make the best "proper" decisions,which may not actually seem at the time as a good decision,as there will be a lot of false(deceptions) etc, taking hold.

I feel this will get harder as time goes on,hence the words.."a falling away",as well as great trials,tests and tribulations forthcoming. The ONLY way to deal with it,is to know its all for a reason..and to best treat our fellow man with the empathy that will be needed in the near future. To do any different,will only make us as bad as "them",..the ones in "control" right now,whether it be the government or terrorists,or any applicable materialistic,power hungry control freaks who lack unconditional love and who dont quite (yet) understand forgiveness.

I understand now,110 percent,why many will die for their beliefs...their beliefs of love,forgiveness, and empathy.

The "up" side of it all,is one day we will all be one,in love and kindness.
My prayers arent for peace..they are for this..that we all learn and understand about kindness,unconditional love, and the problems that arise with EGO. We cannot have peace,until we pass those hurdles.

With me I feel everything. My inuition is very high and I guess right now I must have some icky transits cos I could just grab everyone, give them a shake and tell them all to wake up - and sometimes I feel I am a lone voice you know. I wish I had some Aries in me My daughter has an aries moon and I could sure use some of that!
I'm going to be very honest here and say that the whole Daniel Pearl thing really upset me but the cynic in me came out too and I wondered whether it was true. I mean how do we know? Have you ever seen the movie Wag the Dog? It is possible and yet I don't want to be that cynical. But there are but a few organisations controlling world media and we most definitely don't always get the full story or even both sides. So hard to be discerning sometimes.
Recently there was the case of the Tampa boat people off the coast of Australia. Don't know if you guys heard about it but it was big news in Europe. Anyway they were all Afghan refugees and the Australians refused to let them in and that caused quite a stir. Unfortunately Sept 11 then happened which changed everything and so the boat people were forgotten about and Australia's position was upheld and the Prime Minister there was reelected. During all that theyshowed footage of these people throwing their children overboard so the public could see what sort of people they really were. Well it has just come out they they didn't throw them overboard for attention at all but because the boat was sinking. So there is a classic case of picture and story not matching.
It just makes me wonder about all of it.

On a lighter note our PM is in big trouble for wearing trousers to a State dinner for the Queen LOL and for sitting before she did and something about the way grace was said at dinner. Her response was that NZ is a secular society LOL And I kept thinking how lucky we are if that is all that is big news here.

Once again, it's worth mentioning that these stories, while they paint a disquieting picture of some of the behind-the-scenes forces at work in the world and in the US in particular, are not meant to incite anger or blame ... rather they are meant to provide alternate views of subjects not widely shared in today's media and public opinion channels. Without knowledge, we are in the dark, and can't make intelligent assessment or take appropriate actions. But the point is not to target what needs anger or blame (which can only perpetuate more of the same), it's to identify what needs to be faced with Love and steadfast integrity in order to bring about needed change.
