Hello People, Well I just heard that it wont be long now (minutes in fact) until The Lights are turned on at the site of The World Trade Center. It was yesterday, our 11th day of the month that we heard about this. It seems to be an incredible Idea, to have Two Floodlights reaching up into the night sky, to replace what used to be the Twin Towers....

Light and Love
Vanessa

it's like a symbolic etheric body to replace the physical body that was once there. as though we wish to honor life rather than death. that is poignant...to see the twin towers as beacons of light in the darkness. it's good to view them as symbols of light -- as though the despair they had stood for is transformed.

thanks Daisy....

love, snowpea

Thanks Vanessa

Amazing! I didn't hear anything. Apparently the announcement wasn't made in my neck of the Woods

That is amazing, Pat. Shocking, actually. Guess that kind of news isn't big in CA. Many people in my neighborhood lost loved ones on the 11th, so we have a different perspective here.

Hi Joyce,

Please forgive my post if it sounded insensitive. When I read Vanessa's post I was surprised I hadn't heard about it.

But in all fairness I should qualify that statement. I live in a community of strong, independent individuals that resist identifying as Californians. In the early 1900's the residents of several Northern California Counties formed 'The State of Jefferson'... literally to form another state in the union. That attitude lingers on today which is not representational of California as a whole.

Plus the fact that my 'Media News' viewing is very sporatic and short. Mainly, to keep a finger on the pulse of the information stream. Obviously, it wasn't on long enough.

Truly your experience with the 9-11 Tragedy has been on a much more personal level than most. One that you are reminded of every day. My Heart goes out to your neighbors for the pain they have endured... Love and Light to you all.

HI there, Snowpea, Rainbow, Joy and Pat....WEll yes, I found the whole concept fabulous, to "Symbolise the Etheric Body". Glad that I posted this then Pat, no telling when you would have found this out. The reason I was taken with the whole concept was, the last book I had bought was "Light Years" by Brian Clegg. When this post came to mind, it reminded me of the book, forgot I had it.....
Taken from the back cover.......
We are creatures of light: physically and spiritually dependant on this paradoxial phenomenon that is taken for granted yet remains deeply mysterious. Light Years tells the story of light through the remarkable people who have been captivated by it. From Neolithic man's worship of light at Stonehenge to the impressionist's revolutionary observations of light in painting and the shattering conlusions of Einstein and Feynman, Light years explores each stage of this extraordinary saga of discovery.
Light Years is the ultimate odyssey into the heart of the most beautiful and most startling phenomenon in all of nature- light.

According to Einstein, nothing can travel faster than the speed of light. Yet in 1994, Professor Gunter Nimtz sent a recording of Mozart's 40th symphony through a physical barrier at four times the speed of light
anyway, enough, I dont want to bore you with the details

I love it, truly fascinating.
