I was just wandering how many of you out there have had really strong and vivid experiences of being out of the body.

Just lately I've been a bit gloomy, thinking about death a lot. About 60% of me feels sure there is life after death, the other part of me isn't. I've tried having out of the body experiences many times since I was growing up, but to no avail.
I know that experiments have been done in the past where expert astral-travellers have had to identify objects placed high up by scientists which they couldn't possibly have known about, and they've been able to. However, I still feel I need to know for myS-elf.

I think I'm still a bit afraid of it.

A few years ago, I had one of my best experience in astral projection. I felt inside me the most wonderful feeling so strong that I felt my whole body, heart and soul filled with so much love, peace, happiness, contentment so overwhelming that I felt I was going to explode with all of the most wonderful feeling anyone can feel or imagine.

I remembered rising out of my body and all of a sudden being sucked into a pitch black tunnel head first and then pulled so fast (like warp speed) through this long tunnel with a loud buzzing sound on my ear. Then the next thing the tunnel started to get bright and then I was floating inside a large ball so white and bright and filled with all the wonderful feeling that I mentioned earlier. I don't know exact how long I was there and then I was pulled again into the tunnel and back into my body. When I opened my eyes I could still feel all the emotions that I felt, I wanted to cry because I was so overwhelmed, but no tears came.

This is just one of many OBE experiences I had and the most beautiful one. There is nothing to be afraid of. Some of my experience are controlled and most are not controlled by me (it just happen).

As far as life after death, I believe there is a whole new world after and its all love unimaginable.

If you are trying to experiment on this I suggest researching, get a form of training, learn trans meditation, read and feel that you are part of our all loving God and is with you in your soul.

Do this with love, not for fun.

Yes I had a Out of Body Experience..as recently as 13 aug 2001

I was critically injured in a Bomb Blast..
when the blast occured...I suddenly felt like touching a high voltage electric wire..the there was no pain...
I was rushed to the nearest hospital which was at an 8 hrs drive from where the bomb blast occured...
I was all awake..I saw the doctor give me Anesthesia....then for a moment My mind became black...Every thing turned out as squars and circles...Merging Converging and Yes Conversing with each other...
Then I saw Myself floating above...and saw my self being operated.. I saw all the movement doctors were making...and my Phycial body too was awake..Infact It was talking to them ...while in the process of being operated...and later I confirmed this with the Medical person there they too were ..quite perplexed...that how a man can speak even after giving anestheisa...and be in his senses.

I clearly heard my self telling them where to look for bomb splinter in the body..and clearly saw the amazed look on the doctors..I clearly remember the face of the doctor who was operating on me..and how he entered or when he left the room after operating on me..

..then just before...the operation ended..I again...felt in a deep black...sort of mire.....and again every thing became circles cubes...and various geometric shapes..even humans and living things like my wife my children...and every one I knew became either a circle or a squre or any other geometric shape...I could hear but not understand what they were saying.

then every thing got behind me...and all the unverser converged to just One point and then there was blankness...
some one was behind me he was telling me something..I think it was Some other Language I never heard of ....But I was understing it ,,,yet I do not remember what was he telling me...
yet he showed me ....those geometrical shapes of my wife My mother and my childrens...and then told something about their future....But Now I do not remember what it was..

Then again it was all blanknes...and darknes..then when I regained consciousness after the Operation...
all I could see was the amazed faces of Ward boys...and Nurses....thats where they told me I was talking and guiding during my Operation.

I still cannot shrug or get over that experience....and some Time I REALLY long to have tha experience again...

I was trying to induce an OOBE last night. I did not succeed. However, in the process I remembered what I felt like when I had dreams about flying; the way it felt to move by willing it to happen.
It's possible I did have an out of the body experience when I was younger. I remember (and I can't say if it was a dream or not) a vision of floating around in my bedroom after I'd gone to sleep; I even looked into the mirror and saw my face change, which was spookey.
I think it's possible that the right technique should be used when astral travelling; I now feel as though I've been unsuccessful because I've been trying to entirely depart from my body, but this is probably very dangerous...I feel that when we astral travel in our sleep etc, it's probably a part of our mind that does so, not our entire being because our body needs our soul to stay alive! When OOBE's occur unconsciously, it's natural.

I also started to feel as though I understand the nature of living a bit more. I feel as though I can understand why we forget our past life and the spirit world so easily. Being alive, in our bodies is like being in a dream. Do we remember having any dreams which were so vivid that we believed they were real until we woke up? This is what being in a body does, I feel.

Fragments also came to me, maybe of a past life, I don't know. However, I think it's very possible that when we react strongly to something emotionally, more than someone else may, it's because of an experience we've had in a past life. Sometimes we may feel as though we're in love with a person we've only just met, then find out they aren't right...perhaps it was their body temple fooling us because it reminded us of the one our real love owned before?

I remember aching with a real, profound longing to find true love, my Twin Self ever since I was very young. To me, this seems strange because I don't remember knowing anyone else who could understand what that feels like. But now I'm thinking it may be due to an experience in a past life, a painful experience. I think I may have fallen madly in love with someone either in the Victorian times or a bit later...he may have been Indian and our affair clandestine and opposition made the fire of our love roar even more, until, unexpectedly, he left and from then on my soul died through the endless tears of my eyes...

your OBE story sounded fascinating and beautiful...the geometricity especially was so intriging. When I was younger and had a high fever, I would always feel myself slipping into a different state, where every thought became a visual geometric image...it all seems to tie together in in some strange way, although the symphony seems to flow unrestrained and misunderstood as yet.

Perhaps one day you will remember all that was said to you...when you are ready and the time is right

How strange and perplexing that you spoke to the doctor whilst being out of your body. Have you any idea how this was possible?!

Yes...thats the Impression I got ...I could not talk to the doctor...Infact since I was rushed again to my city..I never had a chance even to Thank him.
But while I was...in the Room...Duty Boys..and Nurses told me..and asked me..Wasn't I feeling Pain...they though the anesthesia which was given to me...had not worked...and By their talking to ..each other...and hinting to me. I gathered I had really talked to the Doctor while being Operated.
and while in the ambulance...again...one of the assistant who was with us...also ..asked certain question like...Is their any other splinter in your body...I gathered That I really had talked....

...It all was dream like...
