I've been back a couple of times too. I want to imprint it in my mind's eye because someday it won't be there anymore on the site, I think. Did you ever see a film called Away With Words that was just Beatles songs and visual cinema? It was kind of cool. But having one like that with George's visuals with it is pretty darn nice to this Beatle freak.

I don't think I saw Away With Words. I believe it was a 1976 bootleg film.

The all things must pass link seemed different from anything related to the Beatles that I ever have seen. I still can't get the lotus out of my mind. As you said, it grabbed my awe also.

In a departure from her usually-restrained public appearances, the Queen of England is to launch a nationwide sing-a-long to the Beatles' "All You Need is Love" as part of her Golden Jubilee celebrations.
Musicians in 21 locations throughout the United Kingdom will take their cue from the Queen in the BBC event -- though it's unlikely the monarch will begin the singing herself.

"We're still discussing how the Queen will begin it," Bill Morris, festival director for Music Live, said on the BBC website.
"It might be that she just gives permission for it to start, she may press a button, but it'll be dignified."

The Queen will be in Slough, Berkshire, on June 3rd to launch the song, which will then be picked up from BBC broadcasts by musicians who will join the singing in a relay fashion.

The broadcast takes place 35 years to the month after the Beatles debuted the song as England's contribution to the first worldwide satellite TV broadcast.

African drummers, the cast of "Evita" and the Turkish Beatles Orchestra are among the musicians expected to participate, the BBC said.

About five million balloons bearing the lyrics to the 1967 classic will be handed out by National Lottery outlets so the public can join the sing-a-long.

Later in the day, ex-Beatle Paul McCartney will sing the song at a Buckingham Palace concert to be beamed worldwide by the BBC.

The concert, to be staged in the palace gardens, will include both veteran rockers and Britain's newest pop sensations.

Among those joining McCartney will be Eric Clapton, Tom Jones, Aretha Franklin, Brian Wilson, S Club 7 and "Pop Idol" TV contest winner Will Young.

The Golden Jubilee marks the Queen's 50 years on the throne.
