My daughter sent this email to me this morning, thought it was so funny.

PLEASE READ THE PROCEDURES AND SEE WHICH ONE APPLIES TO YOUR OWN CIRCUMSTANCES:


MALE PROCEDURE

1 Drive up to the cash machine.
2 Put down your car window.
3 Insert card into machine and enter PIN.
4 Enter amount of cash required and withdraw.
5 Retrieve card, cash and receipt
6 Put window up
7 Drive off

FEMALE PROCEDURE

1 Drive up to cash machine
2 Reverse - back the required amount to align car window to machine
3 Set parking Brake, Put the window down
4 Find handbag, remove all contents on to passenger seat to locate card.
5 Turn the radio down
6 Attempt to insert card into machine
7 Un fasten seat belt
8 Open car door to allow easier access to machine due to its excessive distance from the car
9 Insert card
10 Re-insert card the right way up
11 Dig through handbag to find diary with your PIN written on the inside back page
12 Enter PIN.
13 Press cancel and re-enter correct PIN.
14 Enter amount of cash required
15 Check make up in rear view mirror
16 Retrieve cash and receipt
17 Empty handbag again to locate wallet and place cash inside
18 Place receipt in back of checkbook
19 Re-check make-up again
20 Drive forward 2 feet
21 Reverse back to cash machine
22 Retrieve card
23 Re-empty hand bag, locate card holder, and place card into the slot provided
24 Give appropriate one-fingered hand signal to irate male drivers queuing behind
25 Restart stalled engine and pull off
26 Drive for 2 to 3 miles
27 Release Parking Brake

LOL...well not THIS girl!!!!!!!

But once ...when I was pregnant for Joanne...I could'nt reach far enough out the window to shoot the tube carrier back into the tube hole at the right angle...so I was leaning and stretching trying to get it over there...and my coat caught on the blinker and I dropped the tube......well I was H-Way pregnant...I when I tried to open the door and squeeze out I got kinda stuck......so I got back in and backed up so I could open the door and get out and retrieve the tube.....and dammed if I didn't drive right over the tube.....it was shaped like a big " U "...with it's little rubber bumpers pointing to the sky.....

I walked over to the teller call button...and asked if I should walk it inside...or if it was cool to send it now...

You should'a seen her face! ahahahahaha..

I never went to that drive thru again.....

Hi Cristina I do go through the drive-through at the bank (a little more smoothly than all that), but honest to George, I haven't used a cash machine in years! I have no PIN numbers for anything. Do y'all take checks?

From what you listed above, I wonder if it is the same with toll booths ?

The issue I have with those drive up ATM's is that I try to drive as close as I can to the machine without getting my tires up against the curb and I still can't reach the damn machine somtimes even if I streeech.

Other times the sunlight hits the screen just right and I can't check the screen if I am pushing the right buttons .

I scratched my side mirror once trying to get close enough to the machine and I still had to take my seatbelt out and open my car door. Those drive up ATMs are just not made for a shorty like me. Never used it since. I'd rather say hi and smile to the tellers inside the bank.
