How Hate Groups Work

They very frequently start by tapping into people's cynicism about government. Everybody's got it. It's very easy to tap.

Next they start with the anti-Catholic rhetoric. This is another easy one. NOBODY is going to stand up for Catholics except for Catholics. Who cares? It's a kind of hatred nobody makes a big deal about. You can hate Catholics. Who cares? No big deal.

But it's very important to the hate groups, because nearly every hate group on the North American continent, subscribes to a twisted, racist philosophy that they pretend is "Christian," but is definitely not Catholic. Here are some names of some documented racist hate groups - the kind who MURDER people for their race, their religion, their country of origin, their sexual orientation, etc.:

Everybody (in America) knows the main symbol of the murderous, racist Ku Klux Klan is a burning cross. These hideous hate movements almost always wrap themselves in Christian symbolism. But do you know the targets of almost all of these hate groups? Here's a little bit of Klan history from the encyclopedia to clue you in.

"The second Ku Klux Klan was founded in 1915 by William J. Simmons, an ex-minister and promoter of fraternal orders; its first meeting was held on Stone Mt., Ga. The new Klan had a wider program than its forerunner, for it added to "white supremacy" an intense nativism and anti-Catholicism (it was also anti-Semitic) closely related to that of the Know-Nothing movement of the middle 19th cent. Consequently its appeal was not sectional, and, aided after 1920 by the activities of professional promoters Elizabeth Tyler and Edward Y. Clarke, it spread rapidly throughout the North as well as the South. It furnished an outlet for the militant patriotism aroused by World War I, and it stressed fundamentalism in religion."

Those are ALWAYS and STILL the four groups that hate groups target their hatred on, although homosexuals have also been added to the roster. But the primary groups of people that hate groups hate are ALWAYS:

1. Blacks
2. Jews
3. Catholics
4. Immigrants

SO WHY AM I SO SENSITIVE ABOUT ANTI-CATHOLIC HATE RHETORIC? Well, try this on for size, guys. My Dad's an immigrant, my family is Catholic, my older daughter is Black and a whole bunch of my friends are Jewish and also happen to work in the news media, which group, "media Jews" are a favorite subgroup targeted for hatred by the hate groups.

They lure you in with the stuff that seems no big deal, anti-Catholic stuff. And then they build on your hatred. And they cloak it in supposedly "Christian" terms.

Yeah, folks, guess what? I'm a walking target. You know my name. You know my town. You know I dearly, dearly love people in all the groups that hate groups target.

And I should sit back and listen to the crap that these hate groups use to lure people in? Without standing up for myself and my people? In a pig's eye. I KNOW WHERE IT LEADS. I've interviewed neo-Nazi haters. I've seen what's in their eyes.

ALL of these HATE GROUPS agree that "the Catholic Church must fall," because the Catholic Church, like every other mainstream church, would never legitimize these HATE GROUPS' totally warped "theology" and extremely racist, hateful, non-Christian version of Christianity. And the Catholic Church is the biggest, the most widespread mainstream church, with the most "foreign" members. Yeah, the Catholic Church will fall, IF the HATE GROUPS have their way.

I'm not sitting still for it on a site that's supposed to be about light and love and peace and goodness. I have asked many times for the members who PROMOTE the HATE GROUPS' IDEAL that "the Catholic Church must fall" to please be fair, but still it continues on and on and on.

What if those people were saying, "Judaism must fall." What if they were saying, "The black race must fall." What if they were saying, "People not born in North America will be destroyed." ??? Then would there perhaps be a bit of an outcry? Somebody standing up for those groups traditionally targeted for violence and hatred by hate groups?

But don't worry. It's just the Catholic Church they hate. No big deal. Besides, the person on this site who delights in saying over and over and over the hateful propaganda that "the Catholic Church must fall" and the other who said that I shouldn't be on the committee because I'm Catholic both drape themselves in Christian symbols, so, you know, no big deal.

THAT'S WHERE IT STARTS, FOLKS. THAT'S EXACTLY WHERE IT ALWAYS STARTS, here in North America...with "Christians" spreading anti-Catholic propaganda in a "Christian" guise. Then it proceeds...Jews, Blacks, Immigrants.

IF YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED IN PROMOTING HATE GROUPS' AGENDAS, PLEASE STOP THE TOTALLY BIGOTED, NASTY ANTI-CATHOLIC RHETORIC.

IT MATTERS!!! IT IS A BIG DEAL!!! I AM NOT GOING TO PLAY NICE WITH BIGOTS. THERE ARE FAR TOO MANY PEOPLE I DEARLY LOVE AT STAKE.
