I have been meaning to ask since I became a member of CE, what is ICQ on the profiles? Is that some kind of message program where you can chat with members? If so how do I get an ICQ? I think a chat program like that is great. It gives a back and forth kind of dialoging and getting to know each other better, that the posts, due to the delays in posting, don't provide.

ICQ is a program you can download for meeting people and chatting all over the world, I think it is the biggest chat place in the net.

Thanks for answering my question, Tish. I thought that ICQ might be a message program. I did download it and my ICQ number is on my profile. I now have four message programs. I talk to my friends once in a while on them, I used to do that a lot more than I do now. Each friend seemed to have a different message program so I ended up downloading MSN messenger, Yahoo messenger, and AOL messenger.

Some time ago I use to have ICQ open all the time, now I don't open it as much, I find it much easier to talk with my friends on MSN messenger. I can talk while I work!!
