It's OK, it's right thing to do to stay informed on what your goverment is doing and excercise your freedom of speech.

CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM is non unpatriotic. I never said that. And of course I know what F. Roosevelt said:
Patriotism means to stand by the country and not by your President or any other official...etc.

My point is that America has been THE CHAMPION of the world for FREEDOM and HUMAN RIGHTS since it began. America was founded on democracy. All the citizens, from all walk of life and cultures can vote to make sure they are heard, all those citizens have represantation of some kind.

If you dislike so much the way your government is doing it's job under Bush's administration , yes TELL them and VOTE THEM OUT of the office

Nothing, uncomparable!!! Communist regimes don't give their citizens right to choose or to vote or to speak freely.

I said once that I'm a cosmopolitan, the citizen of the world, which is often a very lonely business, and a kind of exile. I don't have those comfortable roots most of you guys have, but that's my destiny and choice. Cosmopolitanism offers to me only love of humanity. I don't even see that on this site that much, but once again, I see a lot of hatred which is flowing out non stop from some of the members (you Greg are moderate in my mind).

When I react to some of the anti american posts, it is not because I'm a narrow minded super patriotic person, no. This is because I feel hatred here.

As a moderator of "spiritual" site you should not only control the minority or opposition , but also your own group, control the hatred Greg, because it's not nice, it's disturbing to see it on the public forum. This is not yours or your supporters living room, if it is, than close the site and communicate with your friends via emails.

And... sometimes all of you Americans should offer a small prayer of gratitude that you were lucky enough to be born in a country of freedom and liberties and a real democracy.
Offer your heart's affection to America at least sometimes.

One day I had my car radio on a classical station (Interlochen, up here, Dani)....and the guy playing the music related this incident.......One morning during his show, one of his selections was Rossini's BARBER OF SEVILLE...Well, later that same day, when off air, he ran into a friend in a store...who says to him, "I heard you playing that Bugs Bunny music, this morning...."
