I will write one of Linda's description of a rising from her Realtionship's book, then first one to recognize the sign of the rising gets to post the next description.

Only the persons posting the description can look at the book. The ones answering can't take a peek!!!

Description # 1

There is no point in mincing words: This man is strong-willed. He's turbulent and volatile. He's also commanding and astute. He can excel in business where a take control personality is needed. His intensity is shown in his line of work.
And more than anything else willpower is his key word. Detonating bombs won't scare him. Losing the object of his affections however, is frightnening and can lead to melancholy, brooding and conpulsive, obsessive behavior.

What sign is this rising???

Sounds like Scorpio Rising to me. But, the part about "Losing the object of his affections" being frightening and leading to melancholy sounded more like a Cancerian. I think I'll stick with Scorpio though.

Well, let's just admit it, loosing the person you love just plain sucks, no matter what sign you are. It's just that we water signs have a tougher time dealing with it, I guess.

O.K. Here's a description from the rising signs for women section :

Men who need to dominate or manipulate had better steer clear. She has only icy contempt for such attempts at control. She requires equal billing in her relationships. lol. The dreams and ideals part did make me stop and wonder if it was Pisces, but the loss of self-respect bit sounded more Scorpio than Pisces. If I had to pick one sign that would put up with a guy even after he looses self-respect, I'd pick Pisces.

Pisces are is idealistic Suchi. They'll lose/give away everything - money, house, loved one - everything except their self respect. Because one cannot be idealistic without self respect. To be an idealist takes a lot of courage. It is easier being a conformist. Hence, a strong belief in self that's never given up

Here it is........

She write haiku, reads Prevention, rides bicycles and ...idealises her mate. Lucky for you even though you mess up her kitchen, botch the roofing and hum off key, she thinks you are a wonderful human being. She won't commit to "you're adorable" (only children are), she won't admire your buns but she'll appreciate that you work out, take great care in watching your blood sugar levels, typing your exam papers and knitting funny things for your mother. She'll leave you for someone else if you don't love and appreciate her in return.

lol. That was my first guess, actually. But the part about the children and mother and idealising the mate threw me off. Plus, I wasn't sure if a Virgo would be willing to overlook sloppy work even if she is in love

Hehe, my oldest is a Virgo, and she is constantly picking up after her husband and it doesn't bother her cause he is very appreciative of her, sings to her and always surprises her with flowers. Though she does complain to me and it does drive her crazy, but she doesn't mind as long as she see a good reason why she had to pick-up after. About the mother part, true enough, though we have our disagreements (big), when any of her friends and even her boyfriend when she was younger said anything bad about me to agree with her, she tells them off and walk away from them. She said only she can anything to criticize me, but not her friends and anyone else, that was a different story. My youngest has a Virgo Moon, she is quite the same way. She just loves her friends when they get close to me and gets all tickled when they call me Mom.

Yes, but it's her virgo stellium that shows up most often. We did get a sample of the Leo "Everyone must do as I say" attitude. Yesterday one of our distant relatives was getting married. It was in one of the central suburbs and in the evening. So, my mom said that it would be better if my uncle accompanied my granny instead of her. But, my uncle refused to go because he had some other work. So, my granny ended up staying home. Now I don't know what was so important about this wedding, because I don't even know who was getting married. But, she got all pouty and refused to talk to anybody other than me (only when she needed my help, that is ) and the bad mood is still in full force. She's throwing the plastic water bottles on the kitchen floor right this minute. (She's supposed to be cleaning the kitchen table ) lol. She really acts like a child sometimes and on rare occasions it's cute

Actually, hehehe, the Aries girl with the imagination got duped by the Libra false pride perceived honor system and didn't look deeper into the Capricorn soul.
Aries girls don't know nuttin' about men, except a compelling desire to be one and they let their kids run wild, as to let nature raise them, to toughen them up.

The Libra man would actually sneak in and become one of the kids, to have a love affair.

Yes, try, try again, D I know this particular example about the kid sounds a bit like Cappy but if I'd included the the second example she gave (and by the way, I don't think the Rising signs were done by the Aries girl Linda ) then it would have sounded more libran. It was about a guy feeling responsible for his past mistresses even when they had settled down. He felt it was his obligation to make sure they were comfortable. That is why she said twisted honour
