These are glorious fairies! I'm enjoying them too. Poor lilicfairy got snowed in ... or more like snowed out for a while there! Saturday morning she brought her little girl by my place to play for the day while Vikki went down the mountain to the cities. It had snowed lightly all the night before and then just kept on all day. We ended up with knee-deep snow here, and the little girls and I took advantage of it -- got all dressed in our snowpants and jackets and gloves and hats and boots and went out sledding in the yard. We had good fun! Meanwhile, though, Vikki got stuck down in the cities where instead of mounds of fluffy snow the highways were nothing but ice. There were tractor-trailer rigs wiped out and lying on their sides and all kinds of accidents. So she ended up staying overnight at a truckstop and just called me (through phone relay) a little bit ago ... late this morning ... to let me know she'd gotten home. I hope she'll be getting some rest today because she didn't sleep much overnight in her pickup with no blanket. But all's well that ends well, and I'm glad she's home and safe. Love, Maria

She slept in her truck???  With no blanket???
Oooooo poor Lilicfairy...  Anyway, it's good to know that she's home safe now...and resting...*sigh*...
She may have been cold, but was at least wise enough not to venture out on the ice....I so hate it when the roads get icy and I've got to drive somewhere....like home...*sigh*
I've lost it on the ice a few time (luckily things turned out okay)....but it's no fun...No fun at all! I mean you just have no control once that car starts sliding and you feel soooo helpless...eeeeee!!!!
Sounds like you and the girls had fun, anyway...Reminds me of my days as a happy-go-lucky kid! I loved the snow then too....and in spite of the disadvantages winter weather can bring...I can still appreciate beautiful fluffy snowflakes fluttering to the ground..(if I'm inside looking out a window).... ....and the results of a lovely snowfall...even when things (trees and all) turn to ice....such a fairy land look...*sigh*...
Thanks for the update on our own special fairy...I'm so glad she's safe...
