I was thirsty and you gave me to drink!

I love fairies!!!! When ever I look at these pics I fly into another world I love the long black hair fairy (I see myself in her) as well as the dancing one with butterflies!

I bought some large cards with illustrations of fairies (one of them you posted) and I will frame them. I also saw so many fairie statuettes in a store and I want to have a few to decorate my special breakfast corner along with lot's of flowers and plants.
I'm just getting all these ideas how to re-decorate that corner I had in mind. All these fairies are also muses

Rainbow, how do you get the fairies to appear underneath your posts? They remind me of a world that I miss sometimes, but that is not hard to reach. Evy

It is a slightly long-drawn out process. Here's how:
(i) Create a reply post and before clicking on the "continue" button, check the box that says "I want to preview my post and/ir attach a file"
(ii) attach the graphic file
(iii) post
(iv) click on "attachment" link at the top of the newly made post post when you are returned to the thread page.
(v) your graphic file appears. highlight the entire URL as it appears in the address bar of your web browser and press Ctrl+C
(vi) click the "back" button of your browser
(vii) on your newly made post, click "edit"
(viii) in the edit box, first click the "URL" option in the Instant UBB list given right below the editpost box
(ix) Press Ctrl+V in the pop up box that appears
(x) Press Enter. the pop up box disappears
(xi) Uncheck the box that says "mark as edited?"
(xii) click "change this post"
(xiii) The preview screen appears. click "continue" again
(xiv) and there's your picture file in your post

It's quite easy actually, just appears formidable at first.

Do everything Ani said, except in step number viii, it's the Image tag you want, not the URL tag, because it's an image you're posting.

The short answer is that you need to have this string of code in your post...except with square brackets [] around the IMG and /IMG, instead of the parenthesis I'm using for demonstration purposes:

(IMG)http://AttachmentURLwithFilename.gif(/IMG)

or, the variation using the pop-up box,
(image)http://AttachmentURLwithFilename.gif(/image)

The code between the image tags should start with a single instance of http:// and end with .gif or .jpg

Oh Maria..........trying to post images used to really confuse me (I wanted so badly to know how to do it...*sigh*)......and I finally learned how to do it after about four years of wanting to know....*sigh*

....but I'm not sure I could give good directions to someone else, explaining how to do it....

Oh btw...have you seen Vikki???? We haven't heard from her since retrograde Mercury played his nasty little joke on her Saturday (he had to get one last trick in).....Hope she's okay....

You sure figured out the pictures, Bow! Now you're creating very cool graphics of your own. I love the reflecting Tea House sign.

Vikki's working feverishly on pillows and other leather goods for a show in Denver where the itty bitty Cripple Creek company she makes a lot of things for gets a lot of orders every year. They rely heavily on her and she's working really hard.

I should have mentioned when I saw her today that you were wondering about her. You should send her an e-mail to tell her about this thread and the new fairies awaiting her return!

Yea yea, I got stuck. Got home next day. But carefully slow like a 5 mph walker!! Hehe just joking. But I definitly had to drive slowly and boy I was terrify to death!! But I am so glad that I could hear this spirit talking to me throughly to get me home!! If i told that to my husband, He will say EH? Thats ok!! I am home and warm!! It was a horrible night. Watching all that accident. I had the wanting to help the injuries. But I couldnt becuase they got this tall fence that I cant get over. So all I could do is yell call 911!! Oh boy, u should see my husband. He was so upset, scared, and worried. He broke his camaro, driving to pick up our girl at Maria s house. Maria told me how he acted. Oh poor guy. Now that he has been treating me like a lady glass!! Poor guy!! I told him that I am ok and i will live!!

Anyway, yea i am buried with pillows work. I got wiped out for being working too much hours. I would work till midnight and get up at 5:30am. I just fall apart and mary came by picking up some energy boost for me. Oh boy, I was a hyper little kid!! But yesturday, I thought I am going to give it a rest for the day. Cuz i felt like I am going to be crazy. HEHE!! But I still have those works to do!! Thats ok!!
Thanks for all that fairies. It made me really feelin good to know theres someone out there really care!! Maria knows my situation. I dont really have friends. Thats when I loved the fairies because fairies are the happy, loving, caring, healing, etc as u know. And I told my husband that I would love to be the fairies' friend. Until I met Maria. I was kinda scared because of my experience. It took me a while to come to her and talk to her. Maria had no problem. She said hello to me or come over once a while. Or call me. And I start to feel more comfortable that my gut said dont worry shes not going to hurt u. So thats when our friendship boost. HEHE!! I saved all that fairies u got on. I really love it. But hey please find me that snowfairy. Maria know I love snow. I am snow person and I love fairy. So thats what my best friend call me snowfairy!!
