Hi guys!, I recently went to post a new product in my booth and I can't understand why my images won't show I've done as I've always done it. They're files saved for web in gif format which I simply copy and paste in my product form but I always get the red X when I view my booth.

Can anyone help me figure this out please! Greg? where are you? I need you!

I am so excited to show you guys the new stuff I've been actually making myself, if anything I sure would like to get your input on the pieces IF ONLY I could post them!!!

Try giving the extension also (".gif") when you mention the filename in the box. i.e. instead of "amber", say "amber.gif"

All my items do say ".gif" so I don;t understand why they give me a "X" sign rather than show my image.

Still waiting for answers, it is so hard to reach you Greg, where are you?? I need your help!

Sorry, I've been busier than a whole beehive playing catch-up with my new job, even Firesong doesn't know where I've gone! That's starting to clear up and settle down a bit now, thank goodness.

uhhhh!!!!!! Greg, I've tried everything I don't know what's going on.

Here's what's happening.
As I did all others which are nicely posted, I have been doing the same with new pics.

I open my pic, fix it up a bit. reduce it to the right pixel size (ex: 80 x 80) then I go to file and do "save for web" as I did to all others.

When I go to my product form, I copy & paste it where I should only to get the darn red X. When I take an old pic I've already posted and copy & paste in same place, NO problem!

It isn't a rush so don't kill yourself although it sure would be nice to be able to post again.

Copy and Paste? Do you mean, the URL of the picture? Have you uploaded the picture to the web server, yet?

Yep, that's what's going on!

Rachel, I checked and you have the file names entered correctly on your booth form, but the actual files themselves aren't in your booth directory.

All you need to do now is to log in and go to your booth administration page, at

http://consciousevolution.com/co-op/boothadmin/booths.php

and click [+F], to upload the picture files from your hard disk to the web server. As soon as they are uploaded, they will show up on your product pages!

If you still have trouble with it for any reason let me know, but that should fix the problem right away!

Hi Rachel

I just checked your booth and saw that the picture of your new Green Galaxy piece was still not showing up. When I looked in your booth folder on the server, I saw what looks like it must be the picture you intended to use, but it has a different name from the name you entered on your product page ... so that's why it wasn't showing up. (The picture you uploaded was rachel1.jpg, but the name you entered on your co-op booth was newA.gif.)

I converted it from .jpg to .gif and renamed it for you, so it is showing up now. Please let me know if this IS the picture you meant to use!

Another problem is that this is a small 80 x 80 picture, which is perfect for a thumbnail ... but fort the main picture on your product page, it's probably too small to show off the design. Do you have a larger version? If so, it would be good to upload it with a different file name, and use the larger one for your MAIN image (you can leave the newA.gif as your thumbnail image.) If there's anything I can do to help with this, please holler.

I have dropped of the CE radar but I'm back and had the time of day to sit down and get my new necklaces up. INDEED the problem was that I hadn't uploaded my pics, I also changed them to gifs rather than jpegs.

wrote descriptions and NOW they're up up! UP!

Recently I sold two pieces which you won't see on site since each one is unique, but what a thrill when someone likes your stuff and pays for it!

Aaaaah! I'm so excited cause it's a whole new thing for me, designing jewelry that is, hoping more will sell off and on site I sure need it as I still am working towards getting work permit and so forth to be able to resume a full time job in my field... here in the good old USA. Life is good though, new life, new man, here I am going on and on, I feel like writing today so I'm gonna hop over to star chat and create a stir

Anyhoooo, check out the new items and feel free to critique them, I am open to comments on my "new" artwork just don't be too harsh, I do have a sensitive aries soul
