Just thought I'd copy this post from Star Chat here to the Linda Goodman forum that's been quiet as a mouse recently!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LINDA!
Wow, we've all been so busy dealing with "real life" that your birthday Friday slipped through the cracks. I know I was heads-down buried in work and let it pass without a thought (along with several other birthdays here!) But better late than never ... we have so much to thank you for, especially here on this site which you inspired in its original incarnation ...
I still have your picture hanging across from my desk, where I can glance up and see you smiling when I'm lost in thought or pondering the state of the world or just cranking away at "busy-work," and you always manage to give me a smile of reassurance and a shift in perspective to pull me out of the illusion that whatever I'm dealing with at the moment is the whole of reality ...
You have been such an important part of my own spiral of growth and awareness, as you have for so many of us here. Your unquenchable optimism and faith in Love and Magic earned you the love and devotion of millions you inspired with your magical writings, and that's a legacy that will continue to ripple outward and touch all those WE touch in this quest for a spiritual transformation of humanity ... a transformation you believed in passionately, and that we believe in too, and one that's hard to hold on to when the struggles of the world and the conflict of paradigms needed to make that transition are so all-consuming that we seem to have little time or energy for anything but putting one foot in front of the other and dealing with life's moment-to-moment challenges.
But every front has a back, sadness rhymes with gladness as you taught us. It's so good to have your familiar face and your beloved writings to fall back on when we get lost in the moment, to remind us that
LOVE IS ALL!
Thank you for having been born, dear friend, and for touching us all with your beautiful spirit and wisdom. Wherever you are, may your spirit know the love you shared with us lives on, a beacon of light in our lives and the world!
Love,

Greg
