Angry young man, Darwin? I'm sure you missed a feature of mine or two. Like those dimples, curls and... well, one or two other ones that definitely tell I'm female.
But then again, you're not sooo wrong. Seven of the ten stars the most used are in Yang- Signs (Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sag, Aqua) in my natal chart, so... well, draw your own conclusions.
As for the control thing: Nail on the head in a way. Ya know I've this feeling-mind split (Moon-Merc square), but trouble is... Pluto is conjunct that Moon in the first house. So, I might come across as a bit of a controller, yes. It's all the choice between: Control or be controlled. Choice of fear I suppose. Well, I finally made it over here...apoligies for my lateness...I was basking in the Caribbean sun all week. I know, it was rough!

wow...these symbols you shared are very powerful indeed.
Pluto for me right now is squaring my Sun in 26 degrees Virgo. hmmm...father? That was definitely some image... and seemed to fit so perfectly. It's weird...a few months ago I did a deep inner guide mediation and the sun offered me a jewel encrusted sword when I asked him for what I needed. I wasn;t quite sure what it was supposed to mean then, but now I think it's clear...of course, the sword which pierces the suffering human heart to be illuminated by light, "having faith in the love of the human heart" This is Dad to the core, this is our lesson...I have been feeling so much sadness lately, not so much for the loss of him, which is still so very difficult, but for this suffering...this endless human suffering that I think Dad identified so well with, that existed in him and which he somehow could always transmute into this powerful love...it was amazing and beautiful, but fills me with heartbreak now as I think of it. His endless march through the darkness with the sword, always seeing the light just beyond, certain of the belief in the allmighty power of love of the human heart, no matter what struggle he endured...
It's the feeling of powerlessness that gets you I think. I just need to keep this image of this symbol in its highest consciousness - the death and darkness that brings sublime healing and light and spiritual transformation.

Interpretation

"This is a degree of` `Transcendence of power` according to Janduze. She says that the people who have this degree prominent will wield the sceptre and the sword with authority in high places. They are conscious of their power, although their sovereignty may meet with much opposition. More often than not they will win the battle. They are not only strong but also skillfull and practical.
Psychologically there is much more to say about this remarkable degree. It is one of the twelve 26th degrees of the zodiac, which speak in medieval symbolism about chivalry and the search for the Holy Grail.
Here we even have a symbol of the medieval archer.
Archery comes under Sagittarius(sq.Vi.),although in this case the man is using a catapult. Wow - what a great conversation!!!

Sorry to jump in - but the interpretation for the 26th degree of Virgo jumped out at me because that's where my Venus is located. My Venus has always been a bit of a conundrum for me - all alone, unaspected, at the highest point in my chart. And with so much Libra in my chart, of course I feel a strong link to Venus, but I confess a lack of understanding towards my own Virgo Venus, she being so different from the rest of my hurricane chart.

I'll meditate on some of that imagry. I have laways loved stories of the castle ages, knights, chivarly and of course the grail legends. My little archer is into that too- we were building a castle for a school project, along with a catapult. Until he abandoned that for a model of the space shuttle... But I'll let him tell you all about that another time.

"...Wired magazine, has written a fascinating book, OUT OF CONTROL, in which he argues that a massive decentralization of control in emergent holistic systems is not only an effective form of organization, but may be the only workable form of organization for extremely complex systems.

The book is pretty technical and heavy reading, but Kelly opens it with a simple example that intuitively conveys the essence of what he is talking about. He recounts a presentation given at a recent computer convention, where 5,000 attendees were given "paddles," each with a green side and red side. A video camera feeding into a computer scanned the audience to determine the colours being held up, and a giant TV screen was set up for a game of electronic ping-pong. Split into two opposing teams, the audience was told that displaying the red side of their paddles would move the ping-pong paddle up, while showing the green side would move the paddle down. The net speed and motion of each side`s paddles was determined by the combination of all 2,500 paddles on that side. If half of the team showed red and the other half green, the "team" paddle would stand still. The more red showing, the faster it would move upward, and the more green showing, the faster it would move downward. As Kelly describes the experience:



"The audience roars in delight. Without a moments hesitation, 5,000 people are playing a reasonably good game of Pong. Each move of the paddle is the average of several thousand players intentions.
The sensation is unnerving. One is definitely aware of another intelligence online; its this hollering mob.

The group mind plays Pong so well that Carpenter decides to up the ante. Without warning the ball bounces
Faster. The participants squeal in unison. In a second or two, the mob as adjusted to the quicker pace and is playing better than before. Carpenter speeds up the game further ;the mob learns instantly.

"Lets try something else," Carpenter suggests. He launches an airplane flight simulater on the screen. His instructions are terse:
"You guys on the left are controlling roll ;you guys on the right, pitch. If you point the plane at anything interesting, I`ll fire a rocket at it".
The plane is airborne. The pilot is... 5,000 novices. For once the auditorium is completely silent. Everyone studies the navigation instruments as the scene outside the windowshield sinks in. The plane is headed for landing in a Pink Valley among Pink Hills. The runway looks very tiny.

There is something both delicious and ludicrous about the notion of having the passengers of a plane collectively flying it. The brute democratic sense of it all is very appealing. As a passenger you get to vote for everything ;not only where the group is headed, but when to trim the flaps.(((Ha, Ha! Ha!..oooOOOPS! Sorry)))

As the 5,000 conference participants begin to take down their plane for landing, the hush in the Hall is ended by abrupt shouts and urgent commands. The auditorium becomes a gigantic (((Rooster?... D`oh!!!))) cockpit in crisis. The plane is pitching to the left in a sickening way. It is obvious that it will miss the landing strip and arrive wing first. Yet the mob somehow aborts the landing and pulls the plane up sensibly. They turn the plane around to try again.

How did they turn around? Nobody decided whether to turn left or right, or even to turn at all. Nobody was in charge(((giggles&then sum!))).But as if of one mind, the plane banks and turns wide. It trys landing again. Again it approaches Cockeyed. The mob decides in unison, without lateral communication, like a flock of birds taking off, (((Starlings! Starlings! Starlings!,Darlings!!!))), to pull up once more.
On the way up the plane rolls a bit. And then rolls a bit more. At some magical moment, the same strong thought simultaneously infects 5,000 minds : "I WONDER IF WE CAN DO A 360 ?" (((Aha!!!)))

WITHOUT SPEAKING A WORD, the Collective keeps tilting the plane.
There`s no undoing it. As the horizon SPINS dizzily, 5,000 amateur pilots roll a jet on their first sols flight. It was actually quite graceful. They give themselves A STANDING OVATION.
