Hey dudes
I feel all warm and fuzzy right now

I just experienced one of the joys of moving - finding a dusty old box, unopened for years. I decided to go through it and see what it was. Nothing short of a treasure chest - at least for me! Binders full of poetry - most of it bad, but some so beautiful that I had tears in my eyes for the young woman I was when I wrote it. Stories, journals, songs. I just read a few pages of a joural I started in Jan 1995. I'm grinnng at the angst filled looking-for-love and trying to make sense of the world girl that I was. She doesn't know this yet, but in four months she's gonna meet Matt. It'll take about four years more to realize he's her soul mate - but she does get a glimmer or two of that in their magical first night together. Silly girl, right now she's worried about an ex that won't be an ex and a fling that she thinks will be more.

I feel like the me-I-was just sent a present into the furture for the me-that-I-will-be. Confusing to decibe, but it feels nice in my heart.
I also found a Lexi - I think I wrote it, but honestly I can't remember doing it.

But since it was right on the top of the pile and the first thing to catch my eye, I thought it might have a special meaning today. And I'll share it here with you...

That oval of time brought this back to, along with a bunch of other stuff that I'll self-indulgently post later.

It brought me a little present from Greg too - notes and stuff I had printed from four or more years ago. That was a treat too.
Love,
Terri
