VENUS & MARS-Paul McCartney & Wings Sitting in the stand of the sports arena -- www.milwaukeebrewers.comWaiting for the show to begin
RED LIGHTS, GREEN LIGHTS, strawberry wine,
A GOOD friend of mine, follows the STARS,
VENUS and MARS Are alright tonight.Consider the color red-ruby red or crimson red. It has an amazing influence the sleeping awareness, and creates specific vibrations in the mind, certain natural responses. Unfortunately, those in charge of matters like traffic control lacked any knowledge of metaphysics when they decided to use the color red to mean Stop -- and the color green to mean Go. To the subconscious, red means GO ! GO ! CHARGE ! The color green, conversely, speaks to the subconscious with Hash messages like: Be cool. STOP. Wait. Rest. The unenlightened ones who set up the Stop and Go traffic signals chose the color red for Stop because they believed it would be interpreted by the drivers as "Danger !" And so it is -- to the conscious mind. But to thesubconscious, remember, the message isalso, as I just pointed out: GO ! GO ! CHARGE ! I've conducted a fair amount of research on the subject, and I've learned that, for many years after the first Red and Green traffic lights were installed, the offenses of "running a Red Light" were extremely high, and began to lower only very slowly, as drivers gradually reprogrammed their basic, built-in subliminal responses to the colors red and green. Relative to all the "running a Red Light" offenses, most of those who do it usually seem confused, and are unable to explainwhy they did it. During busy traffic hours in large cities, there are frequent traffic tie-ups associated with the false message of the green, so-called GO Light. The cars blast their horns in repeated, deafening complaint to the car in the front of the line, while the driver frequently just sits there, in a trancelike state, staring at the Green Light that may be saying "GO" to his conscious mind, but contradicts the message with the response from the subconscious of "Cool it. Stop and rest awhile." A friendly word of advice: Don't run Red Lights -- ever. However, if you're ever motioned to pull over by an officer of the law who accuses you of running a Red Light, confess immediately and contritely that youdid run the light (if you did) -- or tell him courteously and add earnestly that you don't believe you're guilty (if you didn't run the light). It wouldn't be wise to explain to him that you can't be held fully responsible for following your subconscious urgings just because the people who created traffic lights were metaphysically color blind, unless you want a swift ticket and perhaps also a sanity hearing or sobriety test (unless the officer is a Pisces). Good 2 see you too, BlueDove I'm using a friend's slow internet connection today...I have an appointment with the cable guy next week to get high-speed. I'm also pretty excited about going on a Las Vegas vacation this month. Although I'm somewhat apprehensive about flying. I'm not afraid of heights as much as I am the gravity and plummetting to the earth in a fiery mass of molten metal. I prefer the train--esp. the bar car. LOve&LIght, Stephanie

Have you left yet? Vegas....hope you have a blast, Steph. My loony lunar brother called my Dad last week in the midst of his (my Dad's) plane trip to California and yelled into the phone in a panicked voice, "THERE'S A MAN ON THE WING OF THIS PLANE!!!!!!!" Twilight Zone, remember that one? Perhaps a few prep-cocktails will mellow you out a bit. Or....don't know if you're a partaker in drier substances, but it has an even more r e l a x i n g effect. Plus it makes the clouds fluffier and prettier. Or, at least it seemed so to me... wow...I'm above the Clouds!!! They're down there.... I'm up here!!! Wheeee!!! Love to you, Sweet Heart. Hope you have a time to always remember.

Hi EOTS & BD, Gone & back. The flights went well and we had a great time in Vegas! We stayed in a spa suite on the top floor of the Luxor in the pyramid. The slanted windows over-looked the Sphinx and Obelisk. Our room faced the east and on the first night I stayed up to watch the sunrise. We visited the Tutenkamun museum in the Luxor. I added to my collection of Egyptian bric-a-brac at the gift shops. I picked up a lidded sarcaphagus with a mummy figurine inside, carved from black basalt rock. I also got a Horus statue made of metal, which kind of reminded me of Athena's little metal owl in the movie "Clash of the Titans". I'd love to tell you more Lisa, but you know...What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Just kidding! Actually...What happens in Vegas comes home on videotape. Now if I can just figure out how to get the video camera to download the images onto my computer?! Gotta get outside--it's too beautiful here today! Suchi if you would please update my e-mail address I would be very grateful: The only change you have to make is to add a "s" to the end of my old e-mail address [the logon]. Making it a plural, "sciences". Thank you! LOve&LIght, Stephanie

Hey Sweetie pie, I absolutely loved the birthday sticker! Thanks for thinking of me. So happy to see your typeface again too. Hey, you and Pat and others of your posting level got titled "Addict" in the last update. Probably kind of a dopey title, lol. I'm thinking of revising that level of title or maybe a whole bunch of them to be more colorful and fitting. I did turn the "Carpal Tunnel" title to "Archangel." Here's the list at present... 0 Stranger 25 Newbie 50 Journeyman 100 Member 200 Enthusiast 400 Addict 700 Old Hand 1200 Veteran 1600 Pooh-Bah 2500 Archangel Let me know if you have some ideas. Thanks Suchi! I think it's working...got the "Meat is Murder. Predetors are Murders." junk mail. I'm glad you loved the sticker, Maria! It reminded me of you... (Esp. after the Glinda figurine accident...when she temporarily lost her wand). I had kinda fancied the "addict" title. Being a Pisces I thought it was cute as Neptune rules street people, winos, and addicts. We went to an Alpaca farm yesterday. They are shearing the alpacas this weekend. Today were going to a fish fry at a trout farm. Gotta go... LOve&LIght, Stephanie
