hey all,

Most of you don't know me, but I've been posting here on and off for a couple of years now.

I've been keeping to myself mostly, but I'm afraid I am in need of some other-worldly support. I used to think angels helped me when I was in trouble, but now I'm not so sure. Regardless, I'm gonna ask...

I'm trying to make a big change in my life. It's been difficult and I've been butting my head against roadblock after roadblock. After a long solitary soul-search, I've decided to leave for good those who have been abusing me for some time now - family members, certain so-called friends who have only deceived - and join my surrogate family in Kentucky.

(hugs to Kelly, Troy, Brenda, John & families ... I miss you guys and hope to see you soon.)

However, like I've said, I've run into problem after problem after problem. I've had a theft of cash, the loss of income due to bad health, etc., etc., ... I really don't want to bore you with the details, as I am not assuming my problems are worse than anyone else's.

That said, I am in the middle of the worst depression I have experienced in my entire life.

I had a brutal event happen to me in the year 2003, and it destroyed me. It took away my faith, my hope, and my trust in myself and the ability to make a life for myself. I have lost my dreams, my love for music, my love for the written word, and any hope that I shall ever find the love I thought was meant for me.

Guys and girls, I'm so sorry to say, I NEED YOU.

Each and every one of you, you are angels indeed, and I am most gratelful for the support and unconditional love I feel pouring out in each of your posts. I am crying and smiling all at once.

Since calling on help, (something very difficult for me to do, as those who know me well can attest) I have received not only support in the physical and mundane world; ie., surprise income where I least expected it, strangers who have gifted me with messages and suggestions to problems; I have also received spiritual blessings tenfold.

Trace, I loved how you phrased it: "In no time you'll be writing and dancing to glorious music once again. You'll see." This brought more than tears to my eyes; it brought some light. I haven't written any poetry for months now, but last night I picked up my pencil...

LESS THAN TWO WEEKS!!!!!

Well, guys, it's lookin as though I'll be travellin the blue skies in less than a fortnight

And about that writing... Today I've gathered some info on publishing companies I'll be in touch with once I'm down yonder with y'all. You see, I've been sitting on a fully-formatted, "ready-to-publish" book of poetry for a couple of years now, waiting for the just the right moment , and the MOMENT HAS ARRIVED.

(The waiting is the hardest part.)

Well, wouldn't ya know, a year has gone by since the last post on this thread, and I wanted to again say thanks for all of the support sent my way

As you might imagine, much in my life has changed this past year. I didn't make it to Kentucky, (not to say that I never will ) but it's been an interesting year for me, as I attempt to discover what's in the cards for me next...

Not so depressed any more, either... I tell ya, it is hell to have everything you have ever believed in destroyed in one moment... (long story). BUT! Out of death comes new life, so they say... and I'm feeling much more prepared to greet the rest of my days, knowing there are angels abounding.
