Hey all,

I know that not many of you have switched on that option in your profile where you can "Subscribe" to one or more forums and get daily digests by email of new posts ... but a few of you have.

There was a bug in the how those were handled in the 6.5.4 version of the forum software, and although both Suchi and I had briefly tinkered with it, it wasn't until last night after I'd done a few days worth of system maintenance that I kind of accidentally spotted the bug and debugged it.

So it's working again now. Some of the digests that got sent out this morning are waaaay more than daily digests. I think I got every post ever posted in the Transitions forum in my digest this morning, so that went back like two years. But this evening they seem to be limited to just today's posts, as they're meant to be.

Of course, UBB.threads never leaves its software alone, and there's actually another new update we're supposed to install, and the daily digest handling on that is said to be entirely different in the new version, so who knows what'll happen when we update, but anyway...
