Caressed my moments
Than those I've had of you?

Are there more mesmerizing
Treasures anywhere within in my chest?

Were that it were so
That my heart might not
Guard them perhaps as jealously
Obsess on them so eagerly
Press each whisper
That delights the mind
To eager lips
Then swallow down that honey
Would that more persistent dreams
Might free me from
Prison paradise
Enchantress hooked
Living off scraps of your Shangri-La.

The longing to have
To hold to memories stored within the mind
Keeping one here to hope and dream of having once more
To feel nothing but the purest of desire
Oh how I live it, those moments of being
And longing for this again...
