Abundance is such a vast word, it includes every aspect of life...
..including money...

This doesn't mean that it is more important to be abundant of money than abundant of love, but it is needed...

...and we deserve it as much as love, because in this material world money is necessary to enjoy other things, including food, comunication, reading, etc. Think of something you'd like to enjoy or share with a loved one...in the end some money is needed.

So, the very first thing to do to manifest more money in our lives is to stop feeling guilty about wanting more money.

More money gives us security and peace. Not having the weight on our back about tomorrows payment to the bank for example, gives us tranquility of mind to dedicate our lives to the things we like and enjoy, instead of being worried. It is easier to plan, cook and enjoy a nice meal for our family without that kind of stress on our minds.

I'm being adventurous enough to state that creating more money must be the first thing to work on. Having achieved that it is easier to work on manifesting the other stuff that gives us joy.

I have had money worries in the past, but not anymore, my backaches are gone. There were times when I even cried about a payment due next day and no money to make it.
Now I KNOW there will be enough, and like magic, there is.
It didn't happen easily, I've been working for some years now, a lot I would say, since I read "Creative Visualization" by Shakty Gawain back in the 90's.

I finally started to improve my finances, after reading Abraham's books by Jerry and Esther Hicks, The law of atraction by Michael Lossier and of course The Secret.

The aspect about emotions and feelings is VERY important.

It was the combination of the three, that made the change on me.

Now I'm working on manifesting not only "enough" money... but, more than enough to do other things, like travel...


We all deserve abundance, in every aspect of our lives...

I'm so happy you shared this here! I've/we've been working on this concept too and money is flowing better. I've also been thinking that it would be nice to have enough to travel and see the world. There are so many places I'd like to see and people I'd like to visit. I don't know if we are as far along with it as you, but we're getting there.

OK, so what is the 3rd thing? You mentioned feelings and emotions (which I think of as the same thing), what is the other, our thoughts about money?

Tish, It's so wonderful to be chatting with you once again. I've got a little something to share here about abundance. It is so true what you've said here about the necessity of having an abundance of money in this world today to be able to enjoy things offered out there. Society has made it this way. Although I am a girl of the simple things of life and have learned to value the things around me that does not require money, God's gifts in other words, I watched my Dad pass away from this earthplane having more money than he had ever had in his life, and yet he could'nt take any of it with him. He would do without things in order to watch his money grow. He really tried my Mom's nerves with this and now he's left it all behind for her. The moral of this story is, "Live life while you can, Don't hold back on Living Life to the fullest".
I've lived myself a life of financial high's and low's and it's taught me this, No matter what I've got in the material sense, I will survive and be thankful for what is before me.

Thought I'd add two more cents to the abundance thread. I still have at least two cents.

Well, no one hates having money. Sometimes though it's time that becomes more valuable than money, as in being out making money means less time available to pursue our heart's desire.

Whether to make the money first so you can then relax into your creative pursuits, or just go for the creative pursuits first (which can possibly be the route to attracting money) is a theme of "The Artist's Way." I think many of us feel more secure doing it Tish's way.

In the last seven years I chose time over money in order to give the most energy I could to my son so that he would have the optimum chance of meeting the challenges of autism-- we have been living our part of that "epidemic." I have to first say it has been pure joy to be on this journey with him, and it is he who has so much to teach.

Very happily I can report, after not knowing how much of worldly life he would be able to participate in back when I first joined LG/CE, that he is extremely well adjusted to his first year of high school life. A very huge blessing in itself. He really began to "click" this year with his academic subjects and has had "high honors" for two terms for the classes he takes. (Not "advanced placement" or "honors" classes, but at the very respectable level right after that.) He's quite sociable, as well as humorously eccentric. His gift of music (piano, clarinet, singing) keeps him extremely busy with an out-and-out grueling schedule of classes, rehearsing, and performances (marching and concert bands, orchestra, chamber chorus, piano and voice lessons and recitals, and clarinet lessons. A huge memory drive came with his brain package. It's just amazing how he manages all that arts stuff himself. He just joined his first major play, "The Wizard of Oz," as a munchkin.

So now that he's more independent and well adjusted, I can finally get back to work. Am applying here and there now, and right now I can't find paying work soon enough! The economy for the average schmoe recently, er, tanked ... gee, wonder why...

Thought I'd add in to this thread to explain where I've mostly been when life is so crazy busy I can't even find time to sign on to CE. With my little soulmate druid.

In Esther Hicks books, Abraham teaches that whenever we don't have what we want, we feel bad and in order for us to create and manifest what we do want we must look for ways of feeling better or we will continue attracting the same.
Feelings and emotions are very important, if we look at the mirror and state "I look thin", but in truth we don't feel thin, things won't change. Our words are saying one thing, but our feelings are saying "Liar".
One good advise I read is that it is better to say "I'm in the process of loosing weight" that way we will feel better and not be feeling like liers.
So the three things are, knowing what you want, working on feelings about it, and expecting it to happen.
It is amazing how, if we continue working everyday with faith even if we don't see results yet, from one day to the other reality changes.

Deepak Chopra tells a tale about a monk who asks his teacher how could he find the godess of abundance, the Teacher tells him to go after the godess of knowledge, the godess of abundance will get so jealous that she will follow him...
Looking for money should not be the goal, just a way to live better, and like you said without forgetting the good simple ways that are the ones with the real value in life.

I never got to finish The Artist's Way" I also think doing it that way must give us more satisfaction. It's wonderful that your son is doing so well, I'm sure you are the reason... but you also deserve abundance in whatever you desire, be it money or not. Just have faith and soon you will find your ideal job, and expect it to be something you love to do!!!

I chose fixing money issues first because it was being a heavy burden, and I am feeling so much better now that I got things more in control, that now I can dedicate myself to enjoy the other good things of life, instead of being worried all the time.

One of my transits is TPluto conjuncting my NSaturn, it was time for me to fix the structure of my finances. They were a mess since I got married and then divorced. Pluto is the planet of transformation. I definetly had to change, so I feel is not a coincidence that these books came to my life.

I feel so happy being able to discuss this topics with you all, my family and friends don't really understand me. My uncle is reding "The Secret", so it is a start.

I love your weight example and have actually been taking that approach. Now that spring is around the corner and I can start walking in the park, I'm starting to get excited and movitated with the exercise aspect of my weight loss plan. I've been reading "Yoga, Youth & Reincarnation" by Jess Stearn, so I plan to get seriously into yoga as well. I stretch and do some yoga poses, but have never seriously gotten into it. It seems that Saturn and Pluto being in Earth signs has really helped me to get more structured, organized and clear about what I want and need to do. Pluto is finishing it's transit in my 6th house and has never been felt stronger than now as far as health issues go. I think for me it's because it's in an Earth sign.

Although there were many things that you said, which made a lot of sense, what really stuck with me was the similarity between your dilemma and my own; the way that we both arrived at similar conclusions.

My obsession was quitting the herbal medication I'm using for pain. Someone had told me that I wouldn't make any progress down the path for as long as I had those toxins in my body. They're right of course, about the toxins not being the best for me. But that became my guilt trip. Soon it became my excuse.

After tossing back a few shots of CE over the last couple of days, it occurred to me, that dealing with all of my issues was sort of like taking a multiple choice test.

If we get stumped on a question, move on to the next one after giving it the old college try. Maybe one of the other lessons down the road, will provide the pieces, experience or resources needed to come back and ace the problem we got stuck on earlier.

My thought on money is..don't worry, period. If it takes going out and putting some effort into getting a job, and doing the daily thing, to get your mind off of it. Then awesome..do that!

If like others, you are fortunate enough to play the part of the Divine Fool and have that lifestyle work out for you. By all means. The Universe didn't create you just to leave you lying by the wayside. I know several people who just...trust..and it's there. Others who just trust..and go "when the heck is it coming?"

It's probably a little of..doing things. Period. If they aren't money making activities, perhaps they become sustenance through the magic of community.

Either way, whether through trust, or a little preventative elbow grese, it seems that releasing worry is the solution. So mark answer (D).

The part of exercise is very low on me lately, I have been involved in some kind of exercise all my life until a few years ago. I just can't make myself do it..I will dwell on the reason....

You're right, that's what's amazing about life, everything is related, one event or situation might have the answer for another...
That's what I love about astrology, transits are not random, the construction of our charts are especially made for us to live certaing aspects to prepare us for the next ones, or help us with others we're having at the same time.

And, I hadn't realized until you wrote it so clear;

releasing the worry is the solution, for every question....
