If you have forgotten your password, just click on the forgotten password link on the log-in screen. Put either your username or your email address into the form, submit, and the system will mail you a temporary password.

When you do get logged in, you can always change your password in the "My Stuff" / "My Profile" area.

Any other log-in problems are almost always cookie issues, and the most straight-forward fix is:

1. Come into the site at http://consciousevolution.com or http://consciousevolution.com/LindaGoodmanForums/ubbthreads.php but do not include a "www." in front of the domain name. Bookmark one of those links, so that you always continue to come back in without the www. Or if you come into the site on some other page, use the menu to get to the discussion board, because it will link you via a URL without a www.

2. Now go through the log-in process. Check the upper right to see if you are logged in. If not, go through the log-in process a second time, right away. The second time will probably work.

3. Go down to the bottom left of the page and click the My Cookies link. Expire your existing cookie. That will log you out again.

4. Now log back in, and as long as you continue to come into the site without the www, you shouldn't have those log-in problems again. But if you do, run the drill again, including expiring the cookie.

Hey guys,

If you CAN log in, please do and let me know everything is A-OK. Since only Dave and I have posted since the this last move, I'm having my doubts. Also, I'm definitely having glitches to iron out with the mail, including that the rainbowlight@consciousevolution.com address apparently isn't working and the info@consciousevolution.com is being really choosy about what comes through.

EDITING TO SAY -- I just got about 200 mails, mostly spam and none related to any apparent log-in difficulties, on the info@consciousevolution.com account, so I can now say it's working just fine, lol, and you can definitely use it to mail me if you need to.

And I've found the info for straightening out the rainbowlight@consciousevolution.com account for our prayer/reiki/good vibes group, so I'll be straightening that out soon.

Meanwhile, Kitty and Tinkerbell, thanks for posting. It's reassuring to know that people can get in. I actually had a hard time logging *out* earlier today and had to go delete my cookies at the special link mentioned above, and then delete them again in order to get out!

....I'm thinking i may have to just log in under my old name but it will come up as the new one? Because it has been approved and it seems to be changed in my profile... Though the 'Username' still says my old name.

Let's see what happens if i post. I just sent you a message Write On, but i have a feeling i've figured it out.
