Hey all,

I've been searching through the archives and internet to find some information on the shapes found in astrology charts, ie., kites, rectangles, yods, grand squares, star of davids, etc.

Can anyone refer me to a good source, or post some info if you've got it?

It is called Aspect Patterns published by Llewellyn in 2007.

Dave, do you have an opinion of the "pictures" charts make?

I have never really been "into" them, although I understand why - I guess I look at the patterns when I "read" the chart all at once.

Thanks for the info on the book; I'll search it out!

What interests me most about these shapes and patterns is not so much what they might say in the natal chart, but what could possibly be indicated or induced by their presence in progressed charts, composite charts, lunar/solar, and such.

For example, the natal composite chart of myself and a friend had no visual patterns, but our progressed composite has formed a perfect Star of David, along with two very distinct "rectangles."

The chart is "speaking" to me, I'm sure of it.
