...how have you changed?

I've been thinking about that alot lately. Remembering some of my very first posts on one of the previous incarnations of this site and realizing how so much of what I KNOW is different, and so much about my life has changed, but ME, the real ME is still just the same.

Maybe I've been thinking like that because I look older, and feel older. But I think I look older and feel older in a good way. Like calmer and more settled and more forgiving of myself and others. It takes living, I think, to really learn about forgiving.

How about you guys?

I'm getting back into astrology in a serious way. I'm loving the beautiful roundness of its cycles. I'm loving the inherent forgiveness in that system too, because if we totally muck up our Saturn / Venus sqaure, its fine - there'll be a trine coming that'll smooth it out, then an opposition to feel the tension again, and so on until we meet the square once more, and try try again. And if we're just total stubborn blockheads, there's always next time, the next life, the next big circle.

And that's the marco-astrology - the big slow transits. If you ever want to have a bit of fun try playing with the little stuff, the fleeting moon aspects that push and pull us through everyday and are so often over-looked. I watched the moon over the last three months, as it cycled through the various aspects to my chart. Its a beautiful thing.

How about you guys? What have you been learning on our journey here - sometimes together, sometimes apart?

I missed hearing your view of things, Terri.

Transiting Jupiter conjoined my natal Jupiter at the beginning of this year, starting a new 11- or 12-year cycle of growth for me. So I'm becoming wiser and more mature with a broader understanding of the world, according to Robert Hand. By March, Jupiter had moved along to conjunct my natal Saturn, so the intensity increased for me to examine the structures in my life and get things organized so they work for me. Right now, Jupiter is retrograding back over my natal Saturn, so I'm still there, you know. God, I have so much shtuff to sort through and get rid of and/or organize.

Also rebuilding my career and working on doing the same for my health. My natal Saturn, which Jupiter will be playing with for quite a while, is in Capricorn in my sixth house of health and service. So you see how it is.

Hey you!

Yeah, I've missed being here. Been working so hard on working on the OUTER me, that I forgot all about the INNER me, and really that's the me that should be driving the bus.

Funny really, about all the cycles and stuff too, because in a way they are more like spirals - or they can be if we get it right - so that each re-occuring transit isn't a repeaat of the previous one, but a refining of it. In some of the Buddhist teachings I've ben embracing lately they talk alot about preparing for our next re-birth, since by our good acts now we are (hopefully!) creating the conditions for a human rebirth, and if we are really blessed, a human rebirth in a country like ours, with the resources our parents had and the access to education and health care and freedom to persue studies like these, the opportunity to hear dharma teachings, to meet up with our fellow souls on the same path. If you really think about the conditions that must have had to occur for all of us to be fortunate enough to have merited the lives we are living....whew! Thumbs up to Terri-of-the-previous-incarnation, because I must've done SOMETHING right! lol

So anyway - all the cycles / spirals / refinements just bring us closer and closer - we hear more teachings, we get clearer and cleaner in our bodies, we grow deeper in love with our planet and our people. The question is - are we moving OUTWARDS from the little dot of the spiral - or INWARDS from the outer rings. Do you see what I mean? I'm building this lovely metaphor and visualization, but I can't quite make my mind up about the ending. Libra! There's a case to be made for both - an ever increasing spiral spreading her energies around the planet, or an ever shrinking spiral, raising its personal frequency higher and higher, spinning faster and faster and then - POP - it vansihes from our perception.

What do you think, oh wise lady of the Jupiter connections? (And boy - I thought you were already wise - can't wait to see what happens with the Jupiter / Saturn conjunction. You'll be wise, AND organized! lol )

eeekkk Evan's still sleeping, and Tegan's school finishes in 8 minutes...so time to scoop the little man into his stroller and fly!!!!
