There have been so many strange Birthday (one with the name to match) syncronicities going on every time we camp that I just had to share about them. I don't know exactly what it is supposed to mean just yet, but hope to figure it out soon.

OK... we've been camping 4 times so far this summer. The 1st time it was just the 3 of us. My husband, son, and I. The second time my stepdaughter came down with a guy of interest. We never did get his birthdate, but it became apparent rather quickly that he was a lot like her Dad. Same likes and interests. By the end of the evening (we only spend 1 night camping that time) he and my husband hit it off so well that the guy was hardly even paying any attention to her.

The next time around she came down with 2 friends (a couple), another guy of interest, and another guy friend who met up with us the next day. Somehow we got to talking about birthdays and it turned out that the guy of interest had the same birthday as my son, and the guy friend had the same birthday as my stepdaughter's half brother which is the day before my son's. I always thought it was pretty wild that my son's BD was the day after her brother's. The couple that came had one BD in common with the group... it was the guy who had the same BD as me. As you can well imagine, we were all pretty blown away about the number of BD's in common. I thought it was pretty interesting that the guys she's interested in are like her Dad and stepbrother (who she says she gets along with better than her brogher).

Now we come to last weekend. This time she came down with a guy friend, and the guy friend from the weekend before came back with his younger brothers who are in visiting for the summer. The oldest brother didn't have a BD in common with anyone in the group, but his BD is 9/11 (making him a Virgo/2). Both my husband & I are Virgo/2's. The younger brother ended up having the same name and birthday as the guy friend she brought down, and both of them are 2's.

I don't know what it is supposed to mean other than we are attracting people who are reflections of ourselves, and that my stepdaughter is drawn to men who are reflections of the important men in her life. Thank God she is no longer drawn to men like her Stepfather (this was the case with her 1st love) who she lived with for most of her life. He's a controling and abusive man.

The guy she was interested in last year who came around a lot when we were camping was a Taurus/4, which was the same as a former boyfriend who had died that year. She struggled with wondering if her attraction to him was because he reminded her so much of the old boyfriend.

I'd have to say all who have come down to camp with us so far have been a very cohesive bunch. The exception was the female from the last group who had no match.

Weird how the Universe sets these things up. We may go camping again this weekend, but I don't know if there will be any newcomers to add to the mix yet. It should be interesting to see though.

I was thinking about who would reply to this if anyone, and thought of you! Maybe I thought of you as you were replying to it.

Speaking of Virgo's... Virgo's always outnumber the other signs that are there when we are camping. No surprise there since we are Earth signs, but we kinda have the deck stacked since my husband, stepdaughter and I are all Virgos. It's always interesting to watch the dynamics at play with the different signs. I noticed that the Saggies tend to keep up with the fire and have the best luck getting it going. Then again Troy & I both like to stoke it too... must be our heavy influences at play.

I hear ya on the many syncro's with you and Lisa, it was (is) like that with Troy & I too. Many, many syncro's with us and our families.

Thats true about the fire signs playing with fire.....the heavy Scorp influences do too....but they like to play with it rather than worrying about keeping it stoked.

Do you find that the earths have a need to tidy up the campsites more?????? I love to rake the campsites.

I am SO very grateful for my new Virgo daughter-in-law, I have felt pretty out numbered over the years.....and now there are two of us keeping checklists.

We found out that she is pregnant.....and next week she will have another ultra sound as they think it might be twins.

Except due the first of Feb....they're likely to be twins......

She's not too thrilled......I kept a stright face.

Al and Dani and little GracieJo came to Courtney's play tonight......it was SO cool to have Gracie run up to me and throw her arms around yelling GRAMMA!!!!!

Yeah... I like to keep the camp site neat (Troy & Krista don't seem to have that quality though ), but don't go overboard with it since the idea of being there is to relax. We didn't end up camping this weekend, so no new strange syncro's to share.

I'm happy for you that you now have a fellow Virgo in the family to keep checklists with. Why is she worrried about the baby(s) being Aqua's? Is it the Jo Ann factor?

So how did the play go? The pictures of Court that you sent were really nice.

I'm the same way......I spend a little time putting stuff in it's place each day, then after that, I am there to relax. But I DO rake when we get there and before we leave.

Danielle is worried about having twins.....I don't think the aqua factor has crossed her mind. It just sounds like a lot of work to her (and $$$)and at this point, we still don't know yet for sure if it's twins.....she has to have another ultra sound to confirm their suspicions. I think that is scheduled for this week...but it might be next week....it's all a blur right now.

But as for the astrology of it all, I have'nt sprung any of that yet.

We have SO much fire and enough air to really fan the flames ....and little enough water to not really douse it, just make more steam.....I am just thankful for a little more earth for the sheer stability....even if we do get a quake now and then.

The play was wonderful, Court did a great job.

I was awfully proud of her.

It was a silly little play by kids for kids called 'Nick Tickle Fairy Tale Detective'. Sweet little show about missing props from fairy tales and the detective that 'solves the crime'.

Like Encyclopedia Brown for fairy tales.

My kids are growing up so fast.....Anj will be 16 next Saturday!!!!!!!!..... WOW. How the hell did that happen??????

She just got back from drum major camp last week up at Central Michigan University.....and she left this morning for band camp up at Boyne Mountain....Court leaves with the rest of the band to join them tomorrow morning. The band has 168 members this year!!!! Pretty damn big for a class B school.

And then they both come home next Sat (on Anj's bd) and they leave the next day for a week at church camp.

So there's been a flurry of organizing and packing and planning.....but I am still managing to slow down and take a breath before I start the crazy year all over again.

On Thursday, Mark and I went to listen to ArchBishop Desmond Tutu speak....what a wonderful experience.....what a fantastic man.

He told some great stories on the Dahli Lama and hearing him talk is an inspiration.

We ALL should try to be so good.
