Hi all. I haven`t been around in quite a while, although have been a member for many years. I`ve been wondering about something, & I immediately thought of you guys. Everyone I know it seems is having a very hard time or some kind of crisis lately, and now the hurricane & fires & now an LA train wreck. Does anyone know what is going on in the planets that is causing so much strife all at once? I`m assuming something with Mars maybe? Melva

Melva,

The answer is something that is trying to be figured out... It is simply not one planet, but the configuration of them at any one point.

I have a friend who has been working on this for years, and the is sort of a proposal which was done near 80 years ago that is a book Solectrics by Alfred J. Cooper who suggests that it is more than planetary longitude (latitude is also involved). The book is rare - one one copy in a library that I am aware of - and my friend has been exploring it for years and while now the computing power to look at it is available, it would be a really hard program to write....

Bigger than Mars, I'd say. I think its Uranus, god of accidental and random change, facing off in opposition with the Sun, signifying, essentially, Now, and both of them literally squaring off against Pluto, which is the higher octave of Mars -- deeper space, darker warrior, god of death and rebirth. Here's the chart of the day, which I just pulled now. But Uranus and Pluto are very slow moving. And the Sun, going through it's clock of the year and arriving at this point in Virgo, has triggered those two maniacs.

Harsh times.

Thanks guys. I`ve noticed (as I`m sure many others here have) that tragedy seems to go in cycles. If you hear of a plane crash on TV, you can expect several more in a row many times. Or a rash of fires, or train crashes, etc. But lately, I`ve noticed that it`s everything, and personal problems with people too. Like everything is suddenly in an upheavel. Even friends of mine who are not at all spiritual or metaphysical have noticed it. I figured it was most likely some configuration of planets that are not at all friendly or something. Like a mean square, etc. grump Melva

Melva,

What I said basically applies to weather type of events - Cincinnati got hit very hard by hurricane force winds (but no rain!) yesterday... 85% of the households lost power... I was lucky - I did not!

As for people, right now Saturn is in range of opposing Uranus (with the Sun in play as well) and that always causes problems - that will continue on or off through October - and then Saturn will pull away - basically a one pass event - although when Saturn retros next year, it will come back into orb, but the exact conjunction will happen once (look at the calendar for the date).

As for the train wreck, it was human in nature - the engineer ignored a red light...
