Fedora 11 was released in early June.
Fedora 12 Alpha came out Aug 22. Beta in Sept, Release in Nov.

More security, a sound mixer server that doesn't work on old sound cards.
A new boot up method (dracat),boot from ext4 file system.
KMS (Kernel Mode Setting for video) to bring up the xorg/gui with flicker free screens.
Ext4 is now default f/s (Max size is 1.130EB (1,310,000TB's)
New versions of Apache web sever, Mysql rdbms, Openoffice.org 3.1.0 office suite.
Kernel 2.6.27,29 through 31.

Dear proxymoon,

I'm so glad you clarified all this for me. This must explain why my old windows 98 just started working again just about perfectly. During Merc rx no less. It's nice to be communicating on the same wavelength.
