Happy Mother's Day to all of you Mother's out there... I hope your Day is Amazing and filled with Joy!

So what are you're Mother's Day plans?

My gift for Mother's Day (not that I thought of it that way at the time) was to have the weekend to myself. (me and the kitties that is)...

At 1st I was kinda bummed about it, but my son has finals next week (2 tomorrow) and is feeling pretty stressed, so I let him off the hook and told him he could make it up to me next weekend, but that a call would be nice. He said he thought he could manage that. That Saggie sense of humor of his always makes me smile.

I posted this under Transitions because this brings me to the next bit of how I'm going to spend Mother's Day... with my Mom! She crossed over 6 years ago this past March. My Stepfather gave me a big storage container of her personal stuff (2 1/2 years ago), and although I went through it to see what was there and weeded out the stuff I didn't want (there were a lot of books)... I've never really explored it. Among the stuff were the cassettes of the past life reading she had by the lady who did mine. We did them around the same time. She never could find them when I asked her one day if I could listen to them. Well... they showed up in this box, and I have yet to bring myself to listen to them. I guess because I didn't want to feel sad. I had already done a couple of years worth of grieving and didn't want to face hearing her voice. Besides, there may have been stuff on those cassettes that she didn't want me to know about, so I had to be ready to hear the whole content. Today is the day to listen to them and my cassette recorder is ready to go. Now that it's been 6 years, I think I'm up to the task of hearing Mom's voice without getting too sad.

Be good to your Mom, because you will really miss her when she's gone and you picked her for a reason.

I shared a laugh with Mom today, what a blessing! It didn't make me sad, and has put me on a quest to see if there is a side 2 (or other cassette somewhere, as it stopped but didn't sound finished), and try to locate the chart and paperwork that came with it. Very interesting and enlightening. I'm sure my brother & son will enjoy listening to it as well.

I talked to my son and hubby brought me dinner from the road from Ruby Tuesday's. Life is good.

Glad you had such a great Mother's Day/Birthday! Nice of them to fall on the same day for you. It must happen that way every so often, Huh? My BD falls around Labor Day, so about every 7 years mine is on the holiday too.

Well, it looks like I finally figured out how to post in color... except for I don't know why the things in [ ] saying color showed up. When I tried to take them off it wasn't in color anymore.

The reason I popped on this thread today was to share a channeled message from my Mom that I got recently. It made my eyes well up. I need to look out for those pink roses with purple tips... haven't seen/noticed them yet.

I'm not to sure how you add your color to your words, but I add it by high-lighting the words first as if I'm going to copy it and then I go up above to color and click on the box for color and then pick my color box and it then changes the color for me.Give it a try this way and see how it works for you Kel.

Thanks for your kind words and beautiful images Venus & Star. Yes it is very comforting to KNOW(I knew, but I didn't KNOW) that she is there guiding me everyday. Some days I'm sure I'm more receptive than others , but hey I'm human and here in 3D, so I'm sure she understands.

Just so I am clear, I didn't channel the message myself, although I was told I am an empath and have channeling abilities... I just have to learn how to utilize/fine tune them.

I just realized that you posted the picture of a pink rose with what looks like some purple color to it. I was thinking about doing a search to find a picture of one!

I saw the pink roses with purple tips yesterday at Trader Joe's, but didn't buy them since I wouldn't have been able to get them in water for quite a few hours. They were quite pretty though!
