No, no, no, no, no.....We don't do aggression now do we?
Mars is all about negative and positive aggression. It's sign indicates how we loose the head,......the way in which we all throw our toys out of the cot. Watch out for those low flying rattles - they always seem to catch you on the back of the neck.
Aggression, pizzazz, sparkle, energy, lively... you know you're not aggressive - you're lively and sparkly, bouncy even.
Mars has lighter energy than Pluto. Aggression is oomph that give you drive, makes you achieve what you need to get out of life.
Aggression has such negative connotations, Mars is more rounded than that - if we use it and steer it, it's a true life force that gives us the ability to complete stuff.
Mars is the spring in your step when you are in love. The sparkle in your eye, the cheekiness of your spirit when you use it to express your up beat feelings.
Ok so when you let that mars energy run away with you, and you are cross and cranky it the energy that says "No - I'm not having that". Mars and no have a lot in common...........
On the subject of the word "no", it a positive word depicting your expression of who you are. No I wont be a door mat. The "No" word is how you project how you feel, think, want etc. Used petulantly - it's negative but on the whole it's a real plus. Think about it....
So aggression gets things done. IF displayed in an over the top way - it will make you hide under your bed and cry.
Don't be scared - it's all hot air really.
Aires is ruled by Mars, and historically so is Scorpio. It's a fiery sign, with a life force to go with it.
Have you ever met an Aires who sits on there bums and lets the world pass them by??? I haven't. They are always into SO much. Doing, and organising, rushing about at 100 miles an hour. They can also loose there temper and throw rattles at times - usually when they have either being over doing the running about or when thy have not been doing enough running about.
Mars is all about the active part of lovemaking, the games you play and way you flutter your eye lashes.
Now for the History................:
Bless this wee mite, he was born from revenge, never stood a chance and frankly had a bad name from the word go.
Here's how the Greek story goes.............
Hera, wife of Zeus got ticked off with him when he gave birth to Athen, darn those god has weird habits
. She was so PO that she promptly gave birth to Ares (Mars) without any intervention from Zeus, born from anger, spite and rage. Charming
The poor wee scone was destined to be a little horror with an intro like that. Ares - aka Mars had three close chums, Deimos aka fear, Phobus aka fright and Eris aka strife. These sound a real motley crew destined to be the baddies in movies like bat man, superman etc. So does bad ever triumph - you must be joking - what type of self respecting superhero would stand for that???
What not been said - is that Mars was a big baby - all fur coat and no knickers as they would say in Scotland. For all his aggression and spite every time Athene threw stones at him (darn she was a lovely girl), he'd cry by the bucket load. Basically a great big cry baby.
He wasn't very bright either, even a coupe of mortals managed to trap him in a bottle at one point. Hehehehe There's a thing - bottled angre?? Hum ho jolly little brew. When bottled he turns to dispare, helplessness and sadness, depression.
Bascailly this wee mite wasbn't the luckies guy on the planet - gauranteed to be foiled at ever turn he was lousy with women. He managed at one point to seduce Aphroditie - lucky guy (sept she was a bit easy by all accounts - so noth that great an achievement). Anyway, back at the camp, her husband shows up and Ares gets traped in a net by him. Everyone had been invited to watch and had a good laugh at Ares expense.
So, that's the Greek story, where Mars is an angry fool. The Romans had more respect there god Mars was the god of War, but also of fertility. His chums in this story are honour and virtue.
So we have a bit of a polar situation....angry and spiteful V's life giving and nobility. Thus Mars has a double edge sword. Aggression used positively asserts your will and
Mars in the houses, 12th though 1st for a change
............
