I'd like to know about all you Pisces women. Most of my characteristics are Piscean, except for I never had a drinking problem, drugs, or big hips. I have blue eyes, small feel, a flirty nature, intuition, and have had exciting romances, and sometimes get depressed, and like to pull away from the world. Please share your characteristics... I, too, am a Pisces. Feb. 27th to be exact. I, too, have the blue eyes, fair skin, and small feet; however, unlike lucky you, I have big hips. I am also intuitive, dreamy, a bit "flaky", hyper-sensitive to the emotions of those around me, prone to depression, and anti-social. I have never been addicted to alcohol or illegal drugs, but, just try to take my Diet Coke away - I dare you and, of course, cigarettes (which I am trying, yet again, to stop).

I have my Moon in Cancer and My ascendant is Cancer - so I am just a big puddle of water signs.

No I'm not a Pisces.....I'm a Virgo but I just had to come in here and comment on the fact that you are both trying to give up smoking......I have not smoked since the beginning of January and I feel so much better for it.....if you can.....keep it up.
I know it's got little to do with you Pisces people.....I'm just a little proud of myself for giving up the puffers and for a Virgo....who is normally super critical of herself (and others)....it is very nice to be able to compliment my 'self will'

Shagung, maybe you fall for other Pisces because you have those Virgo traits. Virgos fall for Pisces and end up getting annoyed with them. This I know. Pisces can't stand Virgo analness, so perhaps you are a bit of an anomaly in the romance area, you struggle against the Pisces... which yearns for a galant knight who can be a "superman" but still let her run the show. Pisces men are sweet, but, I need more of a "roughness" in my man. I'm in too much competition with a Pisces guy.
Oh, as a sidenote, I've had tons of Pisces best friends, we click like glue, BUT... we end up having a very short, very close friendship that ultimately ends and we go our separate ways... in short, we get on each others nerves... this doesnt' happen to me usually, just with other fishettes!!!

Hi all, fascinating dropping in on your thread. I am married to a piscean, and having many difficulties at the moment that have culminated in a seperation. I have sun in cancer, but interestingly I have Virgo as my ascendent, Northern node,lunar eclipse,and Pluto also resides there; could this in fact be responsible for the analness that you talked about Victoria!I certainly have at times gotten annoyed with my Pisces partners seeming reluctance to "move", in any direction. Could you wonderful Piscean Gals elaborate on your observations?

Oh i can understand ur irritation in case of the'move'aspect!!!!I have a capricorn mom and shes always telling me to MOVE!!

What i feel is that pisceans move only when they intuitively feel it is proper!They expend so much energy trying to listen and sort out peoples problems that they need to relax and cleanse their aura.And until a pisces dosent feel comfy in their auras they cant really move...or they get cranky!They absorb emotion and it gets'sticky'literally.Well,thats just my veiwpoint.i wonder what the others think?

I have a Pisces Moon conjunct Venus and though I am a Capricorn, I feel more Pisces also.

I'm a day dreamer, imaginative, sensitive,and sorry to say, at one time was 'hooked' on legal drugs - diet pills and tranquilizers. It was not a nice experience and was years ago. I am now, not hooked on anything and try to enjoy life - one day at a time.

Music is important in my life...listening to it (especially classical)and making it...I try my hand at the piano, and one time in my life was a singer with my sister...

I love to read (third house Sun, Mercury, and Jupiter) and write sometimes....

Well, I guess that's all I can think of concerning the Pisces influence....oh yes, I love the water too...live near Lake Michigan, and I find the water peaceful and magical...There is serenity watching and hearing the sound of the waves come to shore.

Thanks for letting me contribute, even though my sun isn't Pisces...

What do I write? Nothing profound or probably not even good. A poet, I'm not - but I wrote some short stories in a writing class and found I loved to write, when I had the time.

I used to be the editor of a newletter for the Grand Rapids Inter-Tribal council many moons ago. I also wrote articles for it as well as profiles on local Native Americans in the community...that's about all, I guess.

I once dreamed of writing a book, but I don't think I'd actually take the time to sit down and write one...I'll go on dreaming....

Well (ahem) - I once wrote a poem (let's day I tried to write a poem - I know nothing about the rules)for a singer that I liked VERY VERY much! I't kinda gushy for a grandma to be writing, but - oh heck I'll write it down *blush* *blush*

Well - ah - ok....the singer's name is Hal Ketchum, and he's sorta country/blues.. and ironically, or maybe NOT so ironically his birthday is April 9th.

I caught him singing a song called TRAIL OF TEARS while surfing the TV channels one day and I was totally mesmorized! I am half Native American, and I was MOVED! He sang with such emotion - I mean like you could see the words he was singing....I've been a fan ever since (his Mercury is in Pisces, my Moon and Venus Placement). Have had the opportunity to meet him and have some photos taken with him....he's a very nice as well as talented person....

So now you know....

Rainbow, if you don't see yourself as a poet you better put your glasses on straighter! Your poems are beautiful - and not only in sentiment, but in word magic as well. I especially love "Ray of Sunshine," with its graceful, effortless meter and rhyme. So many writers these days shun the traditional forms, thinking them trite and trivial -- and they can be if they upstage the meaning and imagery of the verse -- but to write in perfect form such that the meter and rhyme are no prison for the words but a glittering frame to set them off perfectly, is the most difficult task any poet can undertake, and you do it stunningly. Bravo! Thank you so much for sharing, and I DO hope we'll see more.

You know, in her later years Linda wanted even more to be known as a poet and writer than as the great astrologer she was, and being a word person myself I have always resonated deeply with her verbal style. But I have to say I am AMAZED -- and SO happy -- to discover how many of her fans really connect with that aspect of her, and are in love with words as she was. The only poems I have ever written have been about Hal, and it is he who is the inspiration. I don't know that I could just sit down and write something out of the blue. My mom can do that, however. Actually, she is the poet in our family.

I really do appreciate all the wonderful comments. I have never gotten this before. It gives me confidence. Thank you all so much - and also for the comments on my "name," Rainbow...I also use this in a spiritual chatroom i go into, once in awhile. Sometimes, I feel like a rainbow....and a rainbow once appeared to me miraclelike when I asked for a positive sign, when I was feeling REAL DOWN, once...out of the blue it appeared, giving me a spurt of positive energy and changing my whole mood.

Hello and Good Afternoon!

I found this site a couple of days ago and have been reading the posts. I came across this thread this morning and decided to post.

I am a Pisces sun, Virgo moon with Cancer Asc. Birth data, 3/16/65, 12:18pm, Suffern NY, USA. I have four planets (counting Chiron) in the 9th (Pis.) and four in the third (Vir.) - and I have felt, for 34 years, like I am either stuck in a tug of war in a mud hole or on a teeter-totter! Hmmm, also feel cursed by the predominance of 4's & 8's in my life! Not in other people, necessiarily, but within me.

Not one of those fishes that have ever had a problem with alcohol or drugs (others in my family have, so I got "scared straight" at a very young age), but ciggs, coffee and chocolate . . . is there a 12-step program out there for that??

Quazar - I'm your opposite! Annoying and fun at the same time, the aspect, that is. I tend more towards being more like Virgo than Pisces.

But, that being said, I need (not like or want) to be near water and need a lot of "downtime" because I am the couselor, or surrogate mother to everyone I know (Cancer influence, naturally).

I was blessed with a Virgo mother (who died in March) who was my anchor. Funny thing is, though, I have never had a Virgo mate/friend! And many Pisces people tend to drive me up a wall. So do most Air sign people (sorry - but true).

Opposites do attract - we find pieces of ourselves in others. Sometimes we like what we see and sometimes we don't.

I have adored her for too long...and I too have a butterfly tattoo, but it was funny cos I didn't know she had them til after I got mine!!! Anyway, I wanted to tell you Shagun that I am a Sag and I used to be in love with a Pisces guy and I too got really frustrated with his evasiveness and I never, ever saw him unless I hunted him down!!! He had this thing for strip clubs that I just couldn't abide.
But it's okay now, I found an Aries soul-mate and it has been worth all the bad ones combined. Pisces women have wonderful personalities, my stepmom's mom is one and she is great!!!! Oh, and everyone who is trying to quit smoking, good luck. I have tried about 3 million times, but I realize that you have to really want it. REALLY, REALLY want it.

I have learned a lot through my relationship. and the groundwe have covered has brought great VICTORIES in acceptance, tolerance, patience respect etc. I at times see our relationship as representative of two differing countries. When you look beyond the differences, you will find the similarities. When you truly understand another, you can not help but love them.

When I first came to this blessed site, I thought this was such a cute thread, and I have pined for Pisces girls more than once. So thank you Laura for resurrecting it! What a surprise to see this kind of thread. I was born 3/8/77. My sun is in Pisces, Moon in Libra and Ascendant in Aquarius.
I agree with the opposite natures having an incredible influence over people. Because they are opposites, yet the same. So, it seems only natuaral for their to be a strong attraction. I always thought that my twin self would either be an Aries, Pisces or Virgo, just because they are so similar and complimenting of each other.
I think that planets & signs in the first house have a large impact on the personality, regardless of dominant sun sign traits. I have the sun, mercury and mars in my first house, in aquarius and pisces. Due to the strong martian influences/energies I have and aquarian mental detachness, I don't come across as being very piscean to many people.. .on the surface at least. I am responding to someone/s mentioning how they don't feel like their sun sign. It might help to really meditate on the 1st house energies and ascendant, and moon.

Essence, I have Rudolph Steiner's original birth chart drawn in the 1920s I believe. (You wont find Pluto in there). I'm not a Pisces or Virgo but I do have a Pisces Rising and a Virgo Moon. I love it because it keeps my Aquarian aloofness and scatter brain tendencies down a bit. I'm more emotional and affectionate than most Aquarians I know too.

Hello Pisces Ladies!

I am a Pisces Sun, Leo Moon and Sagg Asc - at times I seem very neurotic but for the most part I am pretty balanced. I gave up ciggarettes 8 weeks ago after my 50th time! Good luck to all of you that are trying to stop. I never have done drugs but have had problems with alcohol. My birthday is 3-8-71. I had a very intense off again on again relationship with a Cancer. We had problems together but had problems staying apart and I recently found that we may of also had the Venus/Pluto connection. I don't have the time he was born so I am not sure. Recently I met a Taurus born 5-4-72 so we share a 4 & 11 sun connection?. Linda had wrote that our sun connection is a past life connection, we have the 4 & 8 birth number connection (which is kind of scary) and maybe Sun square Saturn. I don't have the time he was born to know for sure. Our full names both equal the same number, our first names both equal the same number, we both had children when we were 22 and they are a year apart b/c he is a year younger. I have a boy and he has a girl. (My son's father is a Capricorn and my son is a pisces 2/24/93.) We have so much in common and are ofcourse really drawn to each other but that 4 and 8 has scared me. But you know Linda has wrote that Elizabeth Barrett and Robert Browning shared the Pisces-Taurus connection which was blessed and cursed. I guess I could say my life has had some "fated" things but I really believe I've had a good life so far. Does any other Pisces have any of these connections?

I forgot to describe me. I am tall 5'8" have normal feet for my height but they would be called big, brown hair, green eyes, fair skin and small hips.

Annie, I too am married to a virgo, it's 13 years now, we had many seperations thru our marriage but we've known each other since we were 13 and 14. since i'm a 4 (3/4) it's pretty obvious that i'm somewhat on the negative side . my marriage is still to be a struggle=challange, I very much like virgo's (I like everyone!!), but with romance we make mud!!! very sad, truthfully my one big love, that big big love is with Aries men!!!, actually aries man a long time ago yesterday. but I always was attracted to aries people and romanticaly to aries men.
But... being a pisces, even though i'm very sensitive and somewhat shy till you know me, i'm a flirt big time!!! but i flirt with everyone, even my mother!!!!(who is an aries, born on April 9th!!!) I'm very spontaneous and yet there are days that getting out of bed is somewhat inextremious!!!I don't like to lie, but i will avoid the truth if I must, ,sneaky sneaky. I should really be a detective cause I have good instincts and my gut is always right. I don't always follow my gut, I go with my emotions and then i need to hide underneath the seaweed for a while, linda said that i think in sun signs, oh, how true.I am fiercly loyal to my friends and family, although they don't hear from me that often, I'm loyal with love, when I'm in love, and that can be difficult at times, I love love. I am absolutely addicted to ciggs. and coffee, but I do not wish to stop at all!!!!, I don't care much about politics or what's happenning with the smiths and jones's. I keep to myself, and then again i like to know "what time it is". I'm a lone wolf, and then again, I like to go to certain spots where everyone knows my name, but i don't like to be a "regular", rather a real surprise. Fortunately, I'm lean and thin but that's because i', a nervous type. I'm very neat and messes make me very nervous, but if i'm on a project then things get clottered. My hair is always messy looking, like I just walked out of the ocean and my eyes are almond shaped and watery. and deep brown. I love to make a splash and then again I love to make a dash, I need to know where exit signs are!!!! I want the degree but i don't want the work!!!!, yet I've worked real hard on getting a degree. now, you pisces, can ya dig it?????I love music, but can't compose my own. I like to lend money and never care if you don't pay me back, but i'm not a doormat either. I know my limitations. I prefer to look ya in the eye when i'm sorry if possible, and i'm very affectionate. I live and let live, I don't like people prying, but that might be my scorpio moon, when i'm pissed, i'm pissed!!! and my temper is outragious, but you must be pushing THE button to get me so mad, that may be my leo rising??? I too have Sun in Pisces with Moon in Sagg and Virgo Asc. (There seem to be a lot of connections with Virgo and Pisces according to this thread.) I don't have addictions (except chocolate) but I like to escape into my daydream world sometimes. The need to be an organised Virgo and a laid back Pisces is hard to contend with sometimes. Never been out with a Cancer or Scorpio although I know a few Scorpio women, like my mother for instance. I don't lie, maybe that is Sag Moon coming out.

RJ - I have just split up with someone with whom I had the 8 and 4 connection and sun square Saturn. We also had Venus/Pluto connections. I would say a bumpy ride but plenty of opportunity to grow. Don't let 4/8 connection scare you, somethings in life are meant to be hard, otherwise we'd stay static and never learn anything.
