please, if you have some time, do explain that to me ..I came across an interesting natal chart(a long-distance friend of mine)..

he has very few aspects concerning the personal planets in his chart :

-only 2 Moon aspects - Moon conjuncting Saturn(8th house) and square Neptune( 0 degree)
- Mercury is aspecting only Venus(sextile)
- Venus is aspecting only Mars(square by 1 degree)and is located in an intercepted house(5th) Scorpio
- Mars(Leo) has no any other major aspects

but: all his angles are tightly conjuncted-
Pluto and Uranus sits on his IC
Sun is on his DC
Jupiter and Chiron sit on his MC

what type of person makes when the contacts to all personal planets are only a few - abundance of energy,concerning the mentioned planets, or lack of energy and purpose??

I'm not ignoring you, honest! Just trying to figure out what to say that'll be useful.

The literal answer to your question is that in general fewer contacts mean less energy. However, that's one of those general observations that doesn't necessarily mean much, because the particulars of the chart have so much to do with it. For example, a planet that is completely unaspected can still be quite powerful in the chart if 1) it is in the sign of its natural rulership, 2) it gains emphasis by being a singleton in a quadrant or hemisphere, 3) it is the focus for a particular chart pattern (like the "handle" of a "bucket" pattern, 4) it is in "mutual reception" with a complementary planet (for example my Venus, ruler of Libra, is in Scorpio, while my Mars, co-ruler of Scorpio is in Libra ... this greatly emphasizes the energy of both planets even if there is no aspect between them). Also, a single tight major aspect can be more powerful than several aspects in looser orb. So you can't take that rule too seriously by itself.

In general, to assess the power of a planet you need to look at ALL the ways that planet can express through the whole chart -- dignities, reception, rulerships, pattern formations and so on -- not just the number of aspects it makes.

well,
he has Venus/Mars tight square....my Saturn opposes his Venus and square his Mars..which means- my Saturn makes his Venus/Mars square a T-square...the missing leg (of the Grand cross) falls in his 9th house - what does that means?

also his Uranus opposes his Jupiter...my Moon square his Uranus and square his Jupiter...makes it again another T-square..the missing leg falls in his 5th/6th house...do you think that when soemone comes and makes your square a T-square, it is bad or it just reinforce the energy and help you to deal with it????
