Finally the teenage bopper has made a big extreme saggy blunder.
Braving the boldness of appearing with a caged white tiger and a big icky snake (a career buster for sure) Britney Brainless Jeans Spears was taken to task by PETA and now has back tracked and retreated (as if she really gives a cat’s meow) and will pose nude for a PETA poster that says something like “I would rather be naked than wear fur.”
I for one see the cold heartless godmother of Disneyland jumping for Christmas glee as to have the grand opportunity to fall right into her lap.

She now gets to go naked without the usual social concerns or tabloid fever.
Who can pass judgment on a naked girl for protecting animals?
But this is part of the 5 year business plan as the back lash on PETA for putting their special interests first as the expense of projecting immoral behavior by a pop star thereby giving hundreds of thousands of young Britney fans a reason and legal grounds to go naked to school.

The dirty thirty something’s with all their sex and swinging around will become parents of the first nude generation. They will have sex in public and at the dinner table and while waiting for the bus. And to top it off, they will persuade some parents to go along with the whole cool scene.

We aint seen nothing yet. But we will.

Mariah Carrie will again get by passed as she fails to face the truth that she just isn’t quit a superstar and is to big for her clothes. If she stripes now, she could beat Spears to the punch and may carry the Black and Hispanic vote. A few billion dollars blown due to one chart vs. another. How many opportunities are you blowing because you continue to fight with your chart? I know I have missed a few. But the question is why?
Do I have morals to up hold or phony values?
Do our children need protection from corrupt and devious influences or should they be given free rein and choice? Are parents really good to their kids by allowing such freedoms or are they apathetic, and using bad judgment, caught up in their own little feel good worlds, because they are to immature or weak willed to be a parent.

Time will tell but the answer is getting pretty obvious. Kids that have kids raising kids.
And kids can’t be trusted to do the right thing all on their own.

Well a lot of stars and models have posed naked for breast cancer and other such causes. And I've yet to see a teenager copy them. And given the time of year, don't you think they might get a bit cold? I know the USA is warmer and colder in places than here, but surely not warm enough for that type of thing??

As a member of the younger generation... I am thoroughly insulted!!! I have never had any plans on copying Britany Spears (I hate her music, not to mention her), walking around in the nude, or doing anything remotely stupid therein... I think that you aren't giving some of us young ones enough credit!!! Do you EVER point out the good in people Darwin? I do however agree that there are too many of my generation out there who ARE trying to copy her and who have turned into the wonderful buying machines you see today... But I still don't think that you give us enough credit... There are plenty of perfectly sane young people out there, but the only ones that ever get advertised are the ones that strip for attention. However, contrary to the popular belief of our parents (and if you'll recall, their parents before them thought the same thing of their own young uns), the world is NOT going down the tube with our generation. You blow it out of proportion. As long as the radio has been around there have been little boy and girl bands whom everyone hates, but the young masses envy to piss off their parents. So what else is new?

But you're right. Us "younger generations" are kind of flushing everything down the toilet There are those of us that aren't (and I'm too apathetic, self-absorbed, or maybe just plain too afraid to presume to be one), but they're few and far between. I try to look on the bright side, though, in that maybe we're all just part of the big human evolution thing, failed experiments and all.

I'm on the tail end of Pluto in Libra, and I have seen people of my generation band together into little "families" of some sort, and that's always nice. My friends just had a baby a few months ago (a Leo) and it's like she's part of some big "tribal family"- everybody associated with my friends winds up taking care of her in some way.

But a huge percentage of the Pluto in Libra people are shallow relationship junkies, and the Pluto in Scorpio people are for the most part obsessed with power and sex. There's always exceptions, though. The few people of the Pluto in Scorp generation (all 5 of them ) that managed not to be mind-controlled through our consumer sex culture will probably be able to use all that Scorp (as well as Neptune in Cappy) power to become really progressive leaders of some sort.

Yay! I have to leave now. Oh, and Darwin- in my solar return this year I have my Moon as well as my 8th and 9th houses in Capricorn, all ruled by my Saturn in the 12th. Does that sort of make me an unofficial Cappy this year? I feel like one.

And for everyone else:
I know what I said was negative, judgmental, and so forth. I'm sorry. However, I can no longer look at the sprawling, bloated, hideous, insectoid monstrosity that is human society and pretend that it's an adorable puppy. It's not. It's a sprawling bloated hideous insectoid monstrosity. I do think all of us at LGF behave the same way towards humanity in that we all (even including me) feel that it needs to be loved and cared for and so forth. I try to extend my love and goodwill even to the sprawling bloated hideous insectoid monstrosity (human society). I'll feed it, house it, say kind things to it, and bandage it up whenever it tries to beat up something bigger than itself, and so forth.

...I just don't pretend it's an adorable puppy. Neither view is "right"... they're both just different.

I'm going to go cynically and judgmentally do my Chemistry work now. And then I'll probably caustically and broodingly go to sleep. Bye!

I don't think there's anything wrong with bemoaning the hideous insectoid monstrosity of human mass culture before you can change anything, you have to recognize what it is! However, I don't think there's any point in picking on particular personalities ... the Britneys don't make the culture, they just reflect it, and it's ALWAYS been true that 99% of the people simply follow the mass culture we're presented with. And the "popular" ones reflect it back to us. The citizens of Nazi Germany were just ordinary people doing what ordinary people of ALL generations throughout history have done ... following leaders and reflecting the world around them. If we want to see real change in the world we won't get it by complaining about people who don't have the imagination and will to step outside of the box and make a difference ... we have to step outside of it ourselves and BE the examples we wish we had.

I think you have a great approach Rusty -- see the bloated monstrosity for what it is, and love it anyway ... and be a knight in shining armor yourself!

Britney Spears' publicist said that she never agreed to do such a thing. Apparently, a Paris newspaper started this rumor and several hundred Net stories followed suit. She had been coming under fire by PETA for using caged tigers and other animals in her concerts, so she agreed to stop that, but (according to her publicist), there are no plans to pose nude for a poster under that caption.

....so the caption is now going to read.....
"Get your kit of for the boyz"....
