I`m just lately having browser trouble and don`t know for sure if my Oil Paintings are still in their Display Cabinets in Lindaland

I`m getting Crosses all over the Web whenever I`m checking out animations

I couldn`t really care either way,as I`ll be leaving again soon,but could some body just tell me.....

Are they???

Well,Now we`re on the subject...

Hop over to a Doodling Thread on Website Suggestions,begun by me and origonally featuring a Moon,a Santa Clause and I think a Heart,not to mention my site signature novelty-Holly

They should still be there,but not on this browser.....!!

The unusual thing is in this instance that a later on post submitted by Ani Basu has cartoon images fully up and running...

So it can`t be this browser,or Ani Basu`s posts wouldn`t be visible would they??

I really don`t know if some malicious fiend has done one on my animations somewhere down the line,probably the same one that follows me all over the Net and makes things awkward for me

But anyway I really can`t imagine anything worse than going through Christmas with my Lindaland Animations postings suddenly displayed in X format

I mean...
Can you think of anything worse!!!

Hi Ace, I tracked this down, and it appears the problem is that some of the images you posted are copyrighted images from commercial art services that don't give permission to link to their artwork without acknowledgement and/or payment of some sort. Apparently they have a mechanism in place that detects when these conditions are not being met, because when I went directly to one of the images you posted (not through this site but directly to the originating site on your link), I received this message:

When posting images from commercial sites, it's important to make sure you have permission, and you may also need to copy the images to a website of your own ... otherwise displaying them here uses up their bandwidth without any benefit to them! If you have images that you have permission to display, but don't have a website of your own to host and link to them, you can email them to me and I'll find a place for them.

The animations in question are properties of Animation Factory of which I am a subscribed and paying member,that is Animation Factory Premium Gold site

Furthermore a number of other people here over the Months have posted Animations from this source,and I wonder if they are Genuine fully paid up members

Prehaps you`d like to put them back Greg,or must we go through a petty proof of Membership EMail squabble

Hi Ace, you misunderstand me. I had nothing to do with the pictures not showing up, and there's nothing I can do to "put them back." These images do not reside on our site and I have no control over them whatsoever. I was just suggesting that perhaps that was the reason that the animation factory was not serving them up via the link.

If you are in fact a paid up member and have permission to use the images, then I'd suggest you write to the animation factory and tell them the problem and ask them what you can do to get the images to display properly. If their response is that you do have permission to use the images but don't have permission to link to their site to display them, email them to me and I'll put them on our server, and that will solve the problem!

Ace..daaaarling...I finally took a look at your profile..and your Leo sun/scorp moon/rising truly said it all. Did you know the negative side of that scorp(moon especially) is paranoia: an intense feeling that people are against you?? The other thing is holding a grudge for eons on end. Understanding astrology can aid in our growth,and help us in what we are here to work on in this life..just trying to help.

Did you know in the time I`ve been here I`ve seen probably hundreds of Animations posted from the Animation factory Premium Gold site,so I don`t see why they`d suddenly change their tune now!!

I may EMail you a mere few then,just for personal signatures and so on...

Yes though,Ascendant and Moon in Scorpio can lend a brooding influence,but I`ve just met a Lady with Asc/Sun/Moon in Scorpio and was talking her into coming onto the Site

Though it seems this site is loaded with Scorpio anyway,because Astrology and Metaphysics are typically Scorpionic

Anyway,Scorpio Moon does have its ups and downs...
I wouldn`t change it though!!
