Seamistress, you asked about the Mayans, herewith an excerpt from a Journal Crystal and Becky are working on for the Millenium... hopefully to be published latter part of this year.

The Mayans say "A message is coming through the comet which is advanced beyond what you can understand at this moment. It holds a multi-dimensional frequency you will need for the next step into oneness and unity with you and other galaxies. Tune into the nature spirit of the cosmos to feel the truth and reach for the message.

December 21, 2012

The Mayans were a nation of Indians who lived in central America between 3000 BC and 1000 AD. They had an advanced understanding of math and astronomy and made huge complicated mathematical calculations based on the movement of the Stars and Planets.

There are those of us who believe that aliens helped the Mayans develop the Sacred Mayan Calendar. Others believe that an advanced human civilization previously destroyed thousands of years ago may have been the source of this amazing knowledge. We just don't know how the Mayans could have worked out such a complicated and accurate calendar.

This sacred Mayan time piece consisted of 13 Moon months beginning on the 26th July every year... and charts the universal harmonics of space and time. It is the world's most accurate calendar and has never been known to be in error, all predictions have been accurate from the beginning, 13th August, 3113 BC until now.

The Mayan masterpiece is based on a natural cycle, with 13 months, each 28 days long, similar to menstrual cycles... and Moon cycles. The Mayans believed this created harmony, synchronicity and telepathy... a liberation of the mind.

They used two different sorts of year at the same time, the 260 day holy year and the 365 day solar year.

It was also their belief that there were five ages of man... the age of fire... the age of wind... the age of rain... the age of water and now this current age... the age of movement or shift. We are coming to the end of the fifth age according to Mayan prophecies, the end of this huge cycle is predicted to be 21st December 2012.

Therefore we are approaching a very significant time... a time the Mayans speak of as a time of great upheaval followed by a new era of brotherhood. Their predictions are, that Planet Earth and her inhabitants are in the process of Ascending to the fourth and fifth dimensions in a grand experimental plan of the Prime Creator helping us make the transition into light... beyond time... beyond money... and beyond limitation.

According to the Mayans, the final age of movement or shift, is December 21st 2012. By this time we will have already begun to enter the fifth dimension, in fact the Mayan calendar completely ends at 2012, possibly because there is no need for a linear time based calendar... beyond that.

Through Linda's planetary wisdom, and phenomenal aptitude in astrology and the world of metaphysics she has offered us the opportunity and guidance, as seen in this book, to use similar numeric, moon and planetary combinations for the prophecies and daily promises contained therein.

Crystal

Dear Kate,
Thank you so very much for that! I loved reading it and I also love to know that other people out there are interested in it. What do you think of their predictions? This question is directed to anyone.

Hello. I myself am fascinated on the mayan culture. Is there a diffinitive book on their calendar? Exactly how did they perish as a culture?
One other question. Can anyone share any experiences on how accurate their calendar can be?

hello everyone! crystal, this is such a great topic idea. it is so coincidence that i came across this thread right now. earlier tonight, i was thinking about immortality and the myan culture. i know that Linda herself as well as many others such as james redfield (author of the celestine prophecy)believe that one is capable of connecting with at least the fouth dimension, at first, but who knows what is possible. WOW! sometimes i try to sit down and do this when i am in seemingly endless states of love and i feel so energized i just know it to be possible. although lower emotions sometimes keep us from expanding our love, it is our job on earth to tap into that love and try and try to surpass these lower emotions. it might not always be easy but man would it be worth it. wow! this pisces moon has got me dreaming.

l & v, if you are interested in what i believe to be at the true heart of the myan legacy, i would highly recommend reading the "Celestin Prophecy" by James Redfield. after you are done with that i am sure you will find the sequel "The Tenth Insight" to be even more interesting. i would attempt to expalin but you just have to read them for your s-elf.

Seamistress, what do i think about their predictions? didn't linda say that all depended on us. i believe that love has the power to change and i know that we have the power to love. so, i guess the ball is in our court as i write this. just remember that we all have the power to change, as we did long ago. linda said that "love can conquer all." who knows what is possible in the aquarian age. the way i see it, we are at the wheel. guess its just a matter of where we want to go.

o and crystal, i may be mistaken but i think i recall linda speaking of a date when the "veil between worlds is thinest" anyway, it would be great for everyone to try an be sensitive to the loving universal energy around them at this time. can you imagine learning to move in and out of dimensions as you followed your path back to the love we all once knew! people all over the world can surpass all the misery and pain once we truely learn to love.
o yes, this must be true! "thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."

Oh I'm so glad other people are fascinated with the intellectual Mayan race. I find them so, mysterious and haunting, but in a good way.
Laurentino and Veronica, there have been many theories with how the Mayan race just disappeared seemingly in a sudden rush. Some believe that a plague hit them, perhaps it was a deprivation of food or water, others believe it was a war. Then there is always the belief that extra terrestrials took them away. My own belief is something more. It was something that they foresaw and decided it wasn't too good or there were better opportunities for them out there. Had they stayed would they have had such a good life? I don't know, do you?
Simon, I'm glad that you share our love for these people! I'm not sure what to think of their predictions. They were extremely accurate with their astronomical calculations, and they were also excellent engineers and mathematicians. Perhaps it's not the end of the world that they are predicting. Apparently it was the moon's orbit that finished in the year 2012. Perhaps it's a life altering change that could benefit us.

I heard on the news that they discovered two new temples of the Mayans containing messages about the gods and predictions. Anyone know something about this? I'd love to hear it.

Seamistress,
Found this place at last!!I'm sure you are right this will be a revealing, interesting
thread. Not too sure I have much knowledge to
contribute, just alot of fascination for the
subject. After going to the ruins at Tulum I
found a tiny jewlery store in Playa del Carman, there I seen a maya turtle made of in-laid fire opal on black coral. The opal is the
size of a dime perhaps,my birthstone and had
to have this item to remind me of my trip.It
was difficult to locate one brave enough to
attempt to mount it so I could wear it as a
drop. Finally found one that did it and it is
one of my most prized possessions. The Mayans
felt the turtle sacred and it is depicted in
their tombs and lore.I believe he represents luck.Does anyone know their meaning to the Mayan Culture? Will try to get my book out thi week-end.The mexicans we
spoke with felt the Mayas were of alien origin. The ruins I want to go to next time are located near the site where the Monarch
Butterfly as well as the Hummingbirds migrate
to in the winter.Anyone familliar with this area?

Thank you Y2sprite! That was soooo interesting! Have you got anymore stories? They are a very wonderful race. I don't know the significance of the turtle but I could look around.
Tino and Veronica,
I gave some reasons people found as to why the Mayan Tribe might have left. Another reason I found was they might have had a war with the Toltecs. The Toltecs were a tribe who had a god of death who they worshipped. It was believed that these two tribes had a war. That could have been a reason.
I also found some information as to why calendar stops in 2012. On December 21st, there is an alignment where the winter solstice sun conjuncts the crossing point of Milky Way and ecliptic in Sagittarius. This is known to the Mayans as 'xibalba' which is the road to the Underworld.

I don't know how much you guys know about the Mayan system of calculating birth charts...

Jose Arguelles did a lot of work with reconstructing the Mayan method, which is based on the 13-month lunar year, rather than the 12-month solar year.

Similar to the western zodiacal system, the Mayan system is useful in that it helps to determine the imprint of the conditions which were extant on the day you chose to be born, which in turn gives an indication as to what you might have chosen your life purpose to be.

Arguelles calls this imprint your Galactic Signature.

If you don't have any Mayan astrologers handy, you can use this website below to calculate your Galactic Signature. The website calculates the daily Signature, which is useful for planning activities, but if you scroll down to the bottom, you can enter in your birthdate to access your own Galactic Signature:

Hello!

I just thought I'd throw my two cents worth in. A long time ago I looked into the Mayan calendar and did a bit of research. One of the things I found was that the planetary cycles are basically even multiples of the Mayan calendar cycle - i.e, if one takes the synodic cycle of each of the planets and divide it into the length of the Mayan calendar cycle, one gets a very close result in terms of the fraction at the end, i.e., it is like 3000.002 or 456.997 - very close to being close to an integer number.

If I recall, I did some fiddling around with this result, and discovered that lo and behold, the Mayan calendar cycle does not begin in December 2012, but in June 2012 - when Venus transits the Sun - which if one thinks about it is a very appropriate time for the calendar to begin - the Mayans were very aware of things like that.

This research is something I did about 10-12 years ago, and I will have to go looking for it.

Any thoughts?

Dave

Oh yes, I almost forgot. Hugh Harleston found at one of the major sites in Mexico evidence that they knew about the order of the planets, as there are markers at the appropriate planetary distances - and I can't resist adding - at least one planet inside of the orbit of Mercury!

That is so interesting. So do you think that the planet inside the orb of Mercury was Vulcan? I'd love to hear more.

Seamstress,

What I recall is that according to the source I was given, there is room for three intra-mercurial planets, one of which obviously would be Vulcan.

The source was a page from a manuscript, and I last night found that the person who wrote it did publish two books in the mid - 1980's, and I have ordered them through interlibrary loan - so it may take a while for me to what if anything is in the books.

Dave,
I'm looking forward to hearing about your findings into the planets. So if there are possibly three (newly discovered by our civilisation) planets, would the other two rule any particular astrological sign? Just curious to know.

Seamstress,

As to what signs the other two planets would rule, that is open - all I can say is that there are people who believe there are 14 signs! But that's another kettle of fish that I don't really want to get into!

Seamistress,
This is a little something from the book
purchased at "Tulum Ruins"
that I thought was neat.
Maya had a bit of birth control belief as
they knew of certain days that were said
to be unlucky birth dates. It was taboo for
conception to occur then. The new baby's
"horoscope" was prepared by priests who
took into account"date of conception"as
well as that of birth.

Seamistress,
I am a little reluctant to as you
know so much of the mayan astrological
thoughts that I am not sure of what
interest there is in their customs.I
lean toward the ancient architecture
and what their day-to-day life was
about,as well as their art.Guess we
both are in awe of their astonishing
abilities tho.So perhaps that is why
we travel these roads together to
learn from each other..huh??I have also
been to the ruins of Mesa Verda in USA
Mexico.I have a brother in New Mexico,
so when I visit and collect my rocks
and wood medium for my art...I go to
these ruins.They are great,thought
provoking places but pale in comparison.
I read a book some time before I went
to Akumal and Tulum."Quest for the Lost
City" by Dana&Ginger Lamb.It is the most
incredible tale of "true adventure"set in
the 1937 era.When I came home I read it
again. If you read get this book!Couple is
really interesting as well as a glimpse
into this Maya Area where I went.
I am planning to return again in April
bandits or not!The vibrations of these
ancient beings are still in the air,you
can just feel it.Perhaps this is part of
Scorpio's thirst of the unknown or a deep
feeling of Deja vu but it is a call I can
feel deeply.
Love and magic,

Dear Sprite,
Once again you have made me smile with knowing thank you for all this information. You seem to know so much about this ancient culture, they were truly astonishing. It almost sounds as if you were there when the Mayans were thriving in their arts. Perhaps in a former incarnation!
Do you paint? Wow, I have a great admiration for anyone that can create visual art (or any art actually) I am artisticly challenged when it comes to painting. What do you paint? I'd love to hear more.

Hi everyone!!
I love this topic. I got interested in the Mayans when I was about 15. I have read almost anything I can get my hands on about them since. Recently I got a book about the Mayan prophecies because my bf is so interested in Nostradamus...I thought he might like this too. Needless to say he did.
It's fascinating to me that about the only culture that even came close to the "savages" of the central american jungle were the Egyptians...Romans maybe Greeks. They came up with the concept of zero when their European counterparts were still treading backwards !! Amazing, weren't they ?? This just makes my Sagittarian travel bug just itch. How nice to know you are all here.

Blessings!!
Gali.

So nice to see you again!! I'm so glad we've got another interested person here. I'd love to hear your views on the Mayans and their astrological knowledge. What other ancient cultures do you like? Or do you just love 'em all? My favourite is the Ancient Greeks, they're just beautiful, then in a close second tie come the Egyptians and the Mayans. Hope to hear from you soon

Thanks again to everyone for their warmest greetings!!
You know what I find the most curious about the Maya ? What happened to them in 900 C.E. ?
They just dis-APPEARED!!! There have been several scholarly suggestions for this and their re-APPEARANCE. Plague, famine, foreign invasion....hrmm. Puzzling to me because of other disappearances in the threads of history, the most obvious one you all are sure to remember is the colonists of Roanoake. Love to hear feedback on your theories!!
Blessings,

Good Day to ALL
I thought those of you keeping up with the Asamee threads might find this one interesting. Particularly the part about how the Mayan calender ends in 2012. Which is keeping in line with the article which DaleLouise was so kind to laboriously type out for us as well as the reference to an Edgar Cayce reading about Atlantis "resurfacing" in 2012 or 2014 (found in Crystal's original "Atlantis" thread).

The correlations and connections are growing...

the TRUTH is finding US...

and WE are AWAKEning...

Hi Artifax!

Thank you for bringing this thread to Light. I was going to look for it after I finished typing the other information. I did find it later on a website, but I think it needed to be here to look at little by little.

The Mayans are a strong interest of mine, in fact I have more books on the Mayans in my library than Lemuria and Atlantis combined. But I don't think one civilization is more important than another as each has contributed so much. The synchronicity is wonderful and I am really enjoying it. Now I am going to read this thread from top to bottom and ask questions or make comments after that.

Blessings and Gratitude,
Dolphin2

Dear Y2sprite,

If you are still around, "Quest for the Lost City" is my favorite adventure book. It was a true story and I felt like I was taking the journey with them. I have wanted to take a similar trip, although maybe not with the bandidos, who did treat them well.
I still have my book, which was reissued in 1984.

Did you get to go back to that area? And did you go to the Lost City that was shown in the book? I realize this is a year old post to which I am replying but maybe you are still around.

Love and blessings,

Hello AllONE,

I am curious about the Mayan Calendar. Everything I have read says it ends in 2012. I recently had a dream that showed me the date 12-12-12, which was odd, because it has always been stated as 12-21-12. I believe it to be the time of the earth shift, when many survive, but others will transmute to another dimension, and even others will be gone temporarily, but come back to aid in guiding those left on earth.

I have seen pictures of the Piedra del Sol or calendar stone, which I believe is Aztec in origin, and I have seen large black and white pages depicting the same, that can be colored. This may be an odd question, but does anyone know where I could get one of these? I would like to paint one and study the figures in it, so I could get a better understanding of it.

Many Blessings,
Dolphin2

Dear Artifax,

Thank you for "digging up" this thread. Ever since we began "digging up" evidence of the Mayan civilization, we have been treated to some incredible information, information which we are still trying to figure out. I will "ask" about the Mayans, and hopefully will be back with some insights. I know I have spent at least one life among the Mayans, but I have never really accessed it. That life was spent as a laborer--a stonemason--who helped build some of those ruins that we have been "digging up".

Abundance and joy,
White Feather

I saw part of a show yesterday on the History
Channel about the descendents of the Mayans.
They said most people have a heart rate of
72 beats per minute but these peoples hearts
beat at 50 per minute. Their teeth do not decay, and their skull cavity is different
than everyone elses. (I wish they had gone
into more detail on that one!) It was very
fascinating and made me wonder if they could
indeed be of alien heritage. That's my 2 cents worth.

Gee Peggy, I wish I had seen that show.

I have a heart rate of 50 beats per minute and until I had my teeth treated with fluoride by a dentist, I had never had any tooth decay. I was 35 at the time. And I am really curious about the skull of the Mayan. Mine is extremely large and the structure is different within according to the X rays and Cat Scans I have. Did the channel say whether a video is available or a book it was based on, as they sometimes do? I have an affinity for the Mayans and have a large collection of books about them.

Very interesting, Peggy! Thank you.

The Name of the show was "In Search Of" and
I can't really tell how old the show is but you can call your cable or satellite provider
and ask them for the # to the History Channel. I've done that several times for A&E
and Discovery. That's very interesting about
your physical features and it would probally
be very helpful to talk to the researcher of
that show. I never knew much about them but
I can't wait to read more about them now. I just remembered this thread being near the bottom and ran in here to read it after the show. If I see anything else about them again
I'll take notes and post them for you. 50 beats per minute. I bet you're really calm!

Hi Peggy,

I looked in the television guide to see where it was listed, but didn't find it. However, Leonard Nimoy has been the narrator of "In Search of..." on the shows I have seen.

Yes, I am calm. But I always thought my heart rate was slower, because I was an athlete for many years. If I do get excited, it goes up to 60 beats per minute.

I probably shouldn't have said my skull is extremely large, but it is 24" in circumference and at 5"1' tall, that seems large to me. Expecially when I try to find caps or hats to fit. I can not remember right now all of what I was told about the internal structures of my skull, but the pineal gland in my brain is very large and encapsulated in a calcified structure. And the condyles in my jaw are not in the typical position. Yet my face and head are very symmetrical.

I have known some Mayan families who were associated with my ex-husband's work. They were all very short and good looking with very large heads. Although I have no Mayan heritage in this life, I do have some Native American Hunkpapa Sioux heritage.

I will search further into the anthropology and the History channel on the internet.

Thank you for the interesting information, Peggy, and for saving the Mayan thread for a while longer.

Blessings and Love,

Dolphin2

Hello All,

I brought this back up, because I have been reading about the Toltecs, who lived from 900 to 1500 A. D. having a great influence on the Mayans. Does anyone know anything about this and has anyone read the Toltec Wisdom Books by Ruiz?

Love and Blessings,

Here's a little side spiral:

The Aztec capital city was called "Tenochtitlan", meaning "The City of Tenoch".
The Bible states that when Cain left Eden to dwell in the east, in Nod, that "he built a city and called the name of the city by his son's name, Enoch."
Keep in mind that the Aztecs prefixed many of their words with the sound "t".
Just thought it was interesting.

Actually, the Mayans do not say the Earth ends in 2012 but rather that the old age, a period of about 5000 plus years, ends and a NEW one begins immediately after. So we can look forward (those of us who survive the end) to a world less chaotic, less filled with SUVs and cell phones, less pollution, more awareness and other good things. Their number system was based on the values 20 and 60 and was extremely advanced for a people supposely primitive. I have been to Chichen Itza and can attest to the fact they were no primitive builders. I am certain they are descended from Atlantis and/or alien cultures.

Hello Ted,

Since so much has been written about the 2012 date, based on the Piedra del Sol, I believe, what is the source of information for a new age after 2012? Is there another Mayan Calendar? Is this information from remote viewing or is this channelled information?
