HI Everyone!!

Thanks for the wonderful advice. I went to the grocery store the other day... BOY! Those vegetarian meals... burgers, etc, are SO expensive!!! BUT, I bought some anyway. It has been easier than expected to cut my chicken down to two days a week. Perhaps I'll be able to go to one day, then once every month. If I go by Linda's 15 year plan, would it count if I only ate say, chicken or fish once a month? I mean, I wouldn't be cutting it out completely, just to a most bare minimum....

Oh, go to the new post I wrote about FASTING... I want to get some opinions on that. Thanks all

Love and Light to all

Hi there,
just wrote to share a baby miracle that I thought of when I began to read this.
When I was 12 going on to 13 I decided to become vegetarian. At that time I was used to eat a lot of meat, so when I asked my mother if it was OK, she said yes, but she thought I wouldn't keep up with it very long. She was wrong.
The baby miracle was that only 2 weeks after I became vegetarian I ran into the first book of Linda I read, Star Signs, and from then my life changed completely.
love,
belke

Hello,
I've discovered this site recently and was overwhelmed about how beautiful everyone was in here. A friend of mine has interested me in Linda Goodman and I have learnt a great deal from her life and teachings. I would like to congratulate this site on providing this for the world. I would also like to comment on Seamistress's last entry, to agree on the relevance of her quote: "From little things, big things grow." How true!

Peace to you all,
Princess

You all are so beautiful! I am thrilled to have discovered this bulletin board. I am re-reading Star Signs and wondered if Linda Goodman had a website... so here I am!
This topic is interesting to me because I am trying to give up red meat, following Linda's 15-year plan... but I found some disturbing info on the net about genetically engineered foods, and one to watch out for are soybeans... which make up the "vegetarian" convenience foods among many, many other things. Any thoughts on this?

Hi stars, and welcome to our site!

I have't heard anything about genetically engineered soybeans ... I'm a little surprised to hear this, because soybeans are naturally so hardy and prolific and high in protein. Usually agri-biz genetically alters plants to make them larger or more prolific or more resistant to disease ... what is the purpose of this genetic engineering, do you know?
