Hi everyone
This is the first time I've ventured out of the Stars forum and there's so many more dimensions to this site!
I'm a Sun in Gemini (where are all the Gems?), Aries Asc, Moon in Capricorn, Mercury in Taurus and Venus in Cancer. I live in Sydney Australia, originally from Perth. I'm a Graphic Designer who's going to become a recognised singer one day so look out for me. I'm a 24, 6 (I found out today) and that's probably why I LOVE this site and everyone on it. Thank you, thank you, thank you

Love,
moonglow x

HI!Everyone. It's so nice to see so many people come together here. I currently live in Maine though I spent most of my life in NY. My birthdate is 11/1/72. I'm a Scorpio w/ my Moon in Virgo. I've just started to really study Astrology, though I've always been very interesed. The trouble is I've always tried to study too many things at once. If anyones intersted my Moon squares Saturn and the Sun trine Jupiter.

ps: A Special Thank You to Essence for the Wonderful Welcome.

Love,

Casper

Hi everyone! Just wanted to greet all the new people since I haven't been here in a little while. Welcome to Molica, what a beautiful name! And Susan, another lady from Australia, fabulous, we have quite an international set here now, huh? Moonglow, that is a fabulous name too! Hi Helene, we see you peeking! And Casper, of course, where in Maine are you?? I have to ask, since that is where I am originally from.
Glad to see all the new knowflakes about!
Blessings,
Gal

Thanks Galadriel! Let me welcome any other newcomers to the forums and plug our wonderful color diet threads. Check em out if you're interested!
Seamistress: I read in other threads that you were from the former YU. I've been all over the Balkans and still travel there each year. What part are you from?

Dear ESSENCE,

Go magic!

Dear Molica,
My parents are from Croatia, I've only been there twice but it's beautiful. Your name sounded familiar, what part are you from?

Lots of Love

My parents are from Macedonia. I've been to "Hrvatska" Dubrovnik and Zagreb, but it was just before the war started in the late 80's and 1990. Do you have family there? It must have been difficult to think about your relatives over there. Luckily, most of my relatives were far away from the fighting, safe in MK, but I have many friends and distant cousins in Belgrade and Novi Sad. I was very distraught with the recent happenings in all of Yugoslavia. It saddens me that good people had to suffer. I don't like to get into the politics of it all, because I have friends in every ethnic group, and I know how tense it can be. I just hope that everyone learns how to respect one another. Sadly, I watch the news and see the reverse ethnic cleansing, and wonder what I can do.
Let's Image and Ordain a better balkan

LOve,
MOlIca

Dear Molica,
I've never been to Macedonia but I've heard it's beautiful All of my father's side is in Croatia and parts of my mother's too. They're around Karlovac and Zagreb. It's really beautiful there! I loved walking through my dad's forests full of squirrels and deers, I've never seen them in their natural habitat before! A few of my cousins and my brother inlaw were at war but that was it, it was pretty scary but thankfully it's all over. It was horrible what happened there, I got dragged into the political matters by family so I know the story of it by heart, it's disgusting what war can do. I'm sure we can create a better balkan. If we mind... perhaps it will matter
Does your name mean 'prayer'?
Lots of Love

seamistress:

My nick is actually spelled different from the actual spelling of the beautiful evergreen trees that grow on Pellister near Bitola. The name is spelled as it sounds (like all things in Cyrillic) Molika, but ofcourse I changed the vibration But now that you mention it, it might be a cute way of saying 'prayer' I think the word is 'Molba' but I'm no expert on the language! Just ask my relatives here and overseas
My brother-in-law was in the army right before the war started. He was stationed in Croatia and Montenegro, actually. I can't imagine what it must have been like to worry about your cousins and other relatives. My relatives were scared, still are, that this recent one would spread to Macedonia. They don't have much hope for the balkans. They don't believe anyone can get along on a permanent basis. Yet, Macedonia is so multi-cultural. My 'baba's street alone has 6 mixed marriages, Serb-Turk, Maco-Albanian, Gypsy-Maco...you name it. I've spoken to a couple who celebrated all holidays Catholic, Orthodox, and Muslim. Isn't that terrific??? That gives me hope. I hope that we can find a balance of celebrating our rich and distinct heritages (my father and mother both Macedonian) while never feeling superior to those of another or mixed nationality.

LOve, LIght and PEACE

Dear Molica,
It's such a beautiful name and meaning In Croatian, we say molit (to pray) but I think a pray book is called a Molica but I'm not too sure so don't quote me on that Perhaps our brother inlaws knew each other! I'm not sure where mine was stationed... hmmmm. I'm so glad that people in Macedonia can have a tolerance to inter-racial marriages. It's so good to hear that no matter how much war or politics stand in their way, true love can conquer all
Lots of Love

We need to find another thread to chat This one is so long. I wanted to ask you about your name and what it means. Also, if you know some of the music I've listened to. I think the band ET (Electro Team) is Croatian. They rap in English and the girl sings in Croatian. They had that huge hit back in '94 when I was there in the summer. They played it non-stop.You know who I'm talking about?
