In the opening of 'Star Signs', Linda mentions these two songs. Although I LOOSELY know the words to "When you wish upon a Star", I don't think I have ever heard "On a Clear Day".

Would one of you kind knowflakes be so sweet as to post the lyrics of either of these songs? I would just love to be able to sing these songs to myself during the day.

{{{LauraMc}}} Hi there... the words to both those songs have always sent tingles up my spine, and after I read Linda's Star Signs, I searched till I found the movie, On A Clear Day on video... in it, Barbra Streisand sings the song, and I now know why my soul thrilled to the words... they are SO TRUE.. for on a day when one's soul is clear as a bell, we really can see forevermore. It's like the Universe opens up all its doors and lets you in and nothing is a mystery or secret anymore! I live in the UK, and I would guess you are across the Pond, but I will happily get a copy of the movie to you, if you would like it? Let me know, eh? Barbra Streisand actually sang the song and released it someplace on record but you could probably get it on CD nowadays - anyway, go Wish Upon A Star, and have a wonderful day! Aussie Knowflakes may like to know that "On a Clear Day" will be showing four times on Austar this month. I have never seen it and have never been able to track it down on video, so can't wait

"On a Clear Day" appears on CD and cassette tape in a Columbia release titled "Barbra Streisand Live Concert at the Forum" This item pops up from time to time in one of those sale bins in the local record shop. You might try looking in a mall music store near you.

Also on that CD/tape is "Sweet Inspiration," "Don't Rain on my Parade," and "Happy Days are Here Again."

Funny story about that song.
After reading that in Barbra's book.
I heard the song twice by two different singer at this jazz club i always go to. It was at this time that i began to affirm the potential to be immortal within. THe person i heard the song with was someone who i thought was cool but he wasn't my soulmate or anything.
I was praying to God that the message wasn't meant for the both of us because i definitely wasn't feeling him like that.
