hello all!! i can't express enough the delight i have found in discovering others who love linda's work as much as i.
i have been learning to love astrology since i was 12 and picked up 'sun signs' by linda. it was just recently that i read gooberz, and i got so heavily into the book, after putting it down i was in a daze for hours afterwards.

sage, i feel the same as you do, i have a million questions!!! i do know that, after reading gooberz, and i discovered that linda had passed away, i felt immediately shocked, and then terribly sad. for some reason, when i was reading her work, i felt very close to her, as if she were quietly speaking to me as if she were there.
there does seem to be some details that are also causing my curiosity (as i am a gemini =) to spring up.
here are a few, perhaps someone knows?
who is sam goodman, is he the man she called her twin self in goobers? or is it robert? and how come she did not mention she was married after carousel bill?
also, was she still with her twin self up until her death?
i know there are more questions, but i cannot think of them as of yet.

I'm sorry I don't have the answers- these are questions I ask as well.
On the cover or one of the introductory pages of "Gooberz", Linda says that "Gooberz" is partly fiction, partly non-fiction; so I guess it's something we have to figure out ourS-elves!
There are other threads where similar questions have been asked where someone explains that first Linda married Bill Snyder, then Sam Goodman, then Robert Brewer
(not all at once, mind!)
Tricky business, isn't it? Either the Saturn-seven was at it a lot, or Sam was just another man she had karma to sort out with, i.e the difference being she wasn't as alone during those years as she was in the book.

Actually, can anyone tell me more about Bill?
Did any of her husbands die or not?!

and, esotericem, i do see what you mean, when i read the cover the first time, i didn't take it so literally, i took it more as it was all truth, but it was her truth, and truth can appear in many ways to different people.
perhaps she was as lonely during those years, but not neccessarily physically without someone, but in her heart, lonely for her twim S-elf.
may i also inquire?-are there other pictures of her available here or elsewhere? each of the three i have seen all look completely different, but especially the one in the back of the book 'sun signs'.
