druid, so good to see you back here, we missed you! What a beautiful tribute from you - and from dear Seamistress - to our beloved Linda on this special day.

Four years ago today Linda passed from this plane to her next adventure in life ... leaving so many of us feeling lost and bewildered at her passing. Why did she go, where did she go? We don't know. But knowing what she taught us so well, that the soul chooses its own destiny, we can rejoice that she is where she needs and wants to be. And though we may not see her face or hear her voice, she continues to touch us and teach us daily ... through her writings and teachings ... through the love in the hearts of those who come together in her name, here and elsewhere ... through the change she has wrought in all our hearts and minds, which we ourselves continue to spread outward with everyone we meet and every magical idea we share.

Linda, you have made such a difference in all our lives ... in the life and spirit and awareness of our whole world ... by opening a door to magic and spiritual awareness that swings wider and wider every day, in so many ways. Thank you and bless you, our dear friend and teacher.

Linda you are dearly missed by us all.

I look forward to April 9th when I can celebrate the birth of two very special people in my life ...the darling Linda and my darling daughter Kate.

Today too is a special day...for it is one when I may celebrate the life of a magical, mystical lady who became my friend and confidant...However, as hard as I try, celebration is not what I feel in my SOUL today ...it is a profound sense of SADNESS as I remember my last conversation with Linda...the excitement in her voice when we discussed the children's book that she was going to write...Linda so wished to write a book on Astrology for children that they could read and learn for themselves...

I had no idea that she was leaving the physical form.

Oddly enough I should have been prepared... for only a few days before Linda had faxed me a hand written note stating that I and I alone should be responsible for her name and image...I questioned her about this wondering why she should feel it important to send such a note to me written on her desk pad note paper..there was a certain urgency to it ....Linda simply said "I just want you to have it"..no further explanation.
I joked with her that she was not allowed to leave me and I could not do what she wanted me to do without her ...but she would not expand on the reason for the note ... and I conveniently put it out of my mind....less than a week later Linda kissed the physical plain "Goodbye"...

During Linda's last week, my conversations with her were about our television project..I told her that I was waiting for her to get better and to start walking again so that we may continue with it...we talked about her going back up to Cripple Creek to write...she was so excited about her journey back up the mountain...

Last night I could not even consider sleep...

I have a little altar in my bedroom where I have one of the seven day candles from the chapel burning constantly and before I snuggle down for the night I always take the candle from the altar into a little alcove in my bathroom where it is safe in the event of an earthquake during the night.

Last night when I entered the bathroom with the candle, the lights went out...fused...this may not seem strange to you ..however when I looked at the clock in my bedroom it was the time Linda said farewell four years ago..

It is comforting to KNOW that the bonds we have with those we LOVE transcends death they do not evaporate.

Thankyou Linda for giving me the opportunity to grow...for showing me bravery first hand and for having faith in me..
For all that you are.. I Thankyou,
For all that you will continue to be... I Thankyou...I will continue to do the BEST that I can.

...And on the third day after her passing, not knowing that Linda Goodman had died or even that she had lived here, I set out from my old home to what would become my new home, Cripple Creek, on an adventure that would change my life.

A week after her death, here in the mountains that meant so much to her, I met a mysterious g-u-r-u who would become the catalyst for my own profound transformation. And that experience would end up leaving me in much the same spot as you are in Crystal, with promises to keep and legacies to share, in some way, when it's time.

Now, where am I "remembering" this from -- that when a spirit is released from the human body "space suit" it has occupied on this earth that a burst of energy is released at the same time, traveling to and touching those for whom it is somehow necessary.

I know I drove right into the shower of stardust Linda left as I made my way to Colorado Springs and then up, up, up to Cripple Creek four years ago. The "Linda link" of which I had been unaware became vitally important within a few short weeks as I was brought together with others who shared important Linda links, and now, years later, with the bright, shining souls on this website. The only thing that is hard to believe is that so much time has passed.

So, thank you, Linda! You done good. Thanks also to Crystal, Kate, Kelly-Anne, Gregory, Firesong, Dave, and to all the knowflakes who make this place so vibrant!

Crystal, it's so strange that you wrote what you did, because I was haunted all day yesterday by a very intense experience that I had of Linda early this past summer.

As you know, I don't know much specifically about Linda or astrology, being more of a plain old-fashioned Mystic, myself... and therefore I've only ever hovered around the edges of this forum. I was drawn here by my friendship with Greg and since then I have gotten to know you and Kelly-Anne and Kate throughout the various colourful permutations on (and off of) the forum here...

It has been intriguing to observe how, from time to time, a participant will claim Linda's material as their own... implying that somehow they have been 'chosen' to carry on Linda's work. They will attach themselves to the discussions and attempt to build a following of loyal supporters to whom they then suggest that the Truth about Linda is being suppressed and that THEY are the ones annointed with the special purpose of revealing it.

I never told you this but, the first time the forum went through this cycle I had a vision of Linda and she asked me to convey a message to you. She woke me up in the middle of the night, I didn't dream it, I was wide awake and she was sitting at the foot of my bed talking away a mile a minute, like an excited schoolgirl at a slumber party.

"You've GOTTA tell Crystal to keep the faith"... she stressed those exact words, over and over... "keep the faith, keep the faith".

She said that she knew exactly what she was doing when she gave you the rights to her name and image. She KNEW that there would be attempts, again and again, by those who would claim to be her spiritual successor and she didn't want there to be any possibility for false heirs to stake their claim.

She KNEW, therefore, that she had to set a LEGAL precedent that would prevent these future imposters from adopting her work to suit their own agendas, and she KNEW that YOU would see to it that her essence was kept 'clean' and would carry on in the spirit that she would have carried on herself. This is the motivation that was behind her actions as she prepared to move on to the next adventure.

I never told you any of this because it seemed so... predictable, that members of the forum would begin to claim to have been passed messages from Linda, so I kept quiet until I had some kind of confirming sign that what happened was REAL... I got that confirmation a couple of months later and then again recently, and this moment seemed like an appropriate time to pass on Linda's message to you.

Now maybe she'll let me get some sleep!

So, good luck, Crystal and Greg, I'm sure you already know that Linda is with you...

Dear Stella,

Probably I'm being paranoid, but I always have worried with every bit of writing I put out, whether newspaper articles on politics, or personal musings on websites, about whether the things I am saying can be taken in ways that I did not mean, or whether implications can be read into them that I did not intentionally put there.

Anyway, I have not seen on this website any attempts at usurping Linda's teachings or Crystal's responsibiility. Maybe it's my Aries naivete. I am terrible at spotting intrigue and always assume purity of motives. However, just in case you took some sinister implication from what I wrote, let me make clear that what I was talking about -- in terms of having responsibilities similar to Crystals's -- stemmed from my own experience with a totally separate individual who could in no way be mistaken for Linda. He was from a totally separate tradition with very little interest in astrology. That person was the reason I came here, and he did, indeed, leave me with promises to keep and legacies to pass along.

So I am speaking of a parallelity (if I may coin the term). Even so, there were Linda links that have helped me understand my experience, and "Linda people" I have met who have become very important to me. And I do believe that coincidences of timing are important to recognize and appreciate, and I do believe in that burst of energy and that somehow it was there when I needed it. If anyone takes offense at that, I'm sorry. I am only speaking from my subjective experience.

As I have seen Crystal deal with her legacies with such progress, it has helped me to know that I am not the only person left with these sorts of tasks and there are ways of making progress with them. I am taking a different kind of approach with mine. I will not be putting up a website in my teacher's honor. While Linda would love her Lindaland, my teacher would be appalled at such an approach. He was a pen and parchment kind of guy who always made fun of my computer!

At any rate, if I am rocking anyone's boat by expressing things that don't fit the mold, just let me know that I'm not welcome, and I'll be gone.

I am absolutely amazed by your post...as I was reading it my heart started to jump with anticipation...it is so startling...but in a GOOD way! Why on earth did you keep it a secret for so long..I would have LOVED to have heard this story?...but THANKYOU for sharing it now!

We have certainly had our little challenges along the way...but I really only see GOOD coming from them ...it is so refreshing to watch quietly as the game of life unfolds secretly knowing which part one MUST play...it is not necessary that any one else knows or even understands...sometimes it just takes enormous PATIENCE and a little COURAGE thrown in...I have found though that the path of "Silence" really is GOLDEN...

As you know I am NOT an astrologer...though I have been interested in astrology all of my adult life and have a GOOD basic understanding of it...all that I KNOW in astrology, I learnt from LINDA....Most people on the forum here know more than I do on this subject...some people would prefer LINDA's name and image to be represented by someone who is a highly qualified professional astrologer...but who would fit the bill?...in my SOUL I KNOW that no one can compare with LINDA GOODMAN...and one thing that has become abundantly clear to me is, that most people have a problem with EGO (Edging God Out)..few could bask in Linda's shadow for long without wishing to take the GLORY for themselves...

Some people have advised me to become an astrologer and follow in LINDA"S footsteps...I certainly do not intend to take up that challenge ...there is only one LINDA...my interests have been and still are the religions of the Universe....My DREAM is to be able to bring the ancient wisdoms from all parts of the UNIVERSE ..on all colors , creeds and cultures to the Linda Goodman Academy in order that we may all benefit from a Global understanding of one another...
In my SOUL I KNOW that LINDA carved out a very special place in the hearts of millions throughout the world...no one can compare with LINDA GOODMAN.

I have just read both of your posts and mine again three times and I still can't see how you possibly could think that I might have been referring to you!

I am constantly amazed everytime I read this forum at how deeply Linda touched peoples' lives and this is clearly a magical connection which Linda intended Crystal to preserve and grow. I suppose that it is inevitable that others might feel that they would be better suited to this purpose, but this is a moot point because Linda chose to pass her legacy on to Crystal. Most of the claims I have been referring to have been made on other forums or circulated as chinese whispers in the background, which inevitably get passed around. Happily, the energy on this forum is pure and clean.

I don't think that you have ever made any claims such as these, WriteOn... I believe that your intentions are honourable and I have always enjoyed your posts. I am deeply sorry that you might have thought that my words were aimed at you.
