hi everyone.. i pray you don't mind that i started a second thread to this topic... it was getting so long and i was having a hard time opening it at home with my webtv. oopps... that sounded selfish didn't it? i'm sorry. i am just so excited about this thread and i have so many questions. deathnomore, how do you keep from letting people know the "year" you were born.. like with paper work, etc. i get so tired of people asking me... how do you avoid it... or do you jokingly give a large number, like linda did, to get a suprised look on their face? and i know someone asked this already, but how do you nicely tell your loved ones to stop hounding you to go to the doctor for this or that? i mean, i am my own physician... and i've told my sweet mom on one occasion and i know she thought i was crazy! actually, i took that as a compliment... being the aquarian i am! love and light to all freya

Hello Freya! You weren't selfish at all. I also have webtv and was having to wait a long time for it to open. I just didn't know what the rules are about when to start a new thread. I have always been somewhat of an unconventional conservative with My Sun in Scorpio and my Moon in Aquarius. So thank you for taking the initiative. I have a question on the age thing, too! It happens to us whether or not we are immortal, so here it is. I have found that men rarely like to date women who are older, even when they look younger. I have always been honest when being asked my age, so there have been men who have decided not to go out with me or not to continue dating on the basis of age alone. They have told me this and I know it was the only reason. Yet the only men, other than my ex-husband, who was older, are three that I have dated, who were younger. These included my late fiance, and they were three, eight, and fourteen years younger. My fiance was the youngest. So, my question is what do you do, besides saying you are ageless? It is ok to be mysterious, but what about Truth? And by the way, I have met many men on the internet in the past few months and we have really hit it off and they kept writing to me until they told me their age and then asked me mine. Then the writing dropped off. Even though they previously asked to meet me. I met them on the internet through business and research about art and so on, not through chat rooms or forums. And I must say that the internet levels the playing field for awhile, because there are no prejudices about age, appearance, race and so on. I hope I asked the question in a way someone can answer, as there seem to be a few immortals out there and I think I would like to be one. Lots of Love and Blessings, Dolphin2

Greetings, everyONE! Dale Louise, The reason men "are attracted to you" on the internet is because your writing has a wonderful personality! It seems to me that if you're comfortable with your age then you don't hide it. If someone else is uncomfortable with your age, about all you can do is show them how comfortable you are with it. Sometimes, people can be uncomfortable with your age because they are getting mixed signals about your own comfort, and don't know how to relate. Sometimes, men may be uncomfortable about an age issue because they are not balanced in their male and female energies, or because they have an issue with their own age. The only thing that matters, though, is whether you are comfortable with your own age. The truth is we are all millions of years old. What do earth years matter? As for me personally, I try hard not to ever even think about how old I am. Why give aging any more energy? The last time someone asked me my age, I actually forgot! I had to turn to my wife next to me for the answer. I always forget her age, too. On the other hand, my 13 year old daughter is constantly reminding me how old she is. "Only one year and 8 months until I can get my driving permit. Only 2 years and 8 months until I can get my driver's license. Etc. Etc." Sheesh. As for immortality, why are we striving for it when it is already ours? We merely have to shift our awareness and perception of it, so that it can be embraced. We must release the patterns of consciousness that give aging it power and that put us in the birth/death cycle. Until these patterns of consciousness are released we cannot even imagine the immortality that is our birthright. If we have any age issues whatsoever, then we simply aren't in the NOW. Love and laughter, White Feather

What a great answer White Feather. I really appreciate it and it was so very enlightening!! You not only made me smile a really big smile, but made me laugh, too, as you described your daughter. I can remember so many teenagers saying I am 15 1/2 and I am going to get my driver's license. I have been told by people from other countries that they don't even think or talk about age. In my last profession, I was required to ask age, for demographics for the government, so we could prove that we were giving housing loans to all age groups. It was my 92 years young client, who explained how they didn't discuss that in England where she came from. And with my clients from Mexico the men would either ask their wife or look at their driver's licenses to find out their ages. Invariably the wife was seven years older. And of course, the Chinese are one year old when they are born, so they would give me a different answer than their driver's license showed. It seems so irrelevant for so many reasons. Besides if you like someone, you like them, so it seems so silly to let age get in the way of a good relationship or friendship. I guess people's self-images are so often based on what other people think, because they are brainwashed by advertising, family, etc. Now that I think of it, the younger men I have gone with were quite self-confident and not worried about what other people thought about anything. So now I am not going to think about that issue anymore. Thank you so much, I have lots of experience in other areas, but relatively little in personalrelationships. Now, I won't be concerned anymore, whether I become Immortal or not. But I am really working toward it with a passion! Lots of Love and Blessings, Dolphin2

wow! what wonderful replies! i guess i get tired of being told to "act" my age (whatever that means), by my mom... and I will not re-turn a negative answer to her response. when i was smaller, i could never imagine being wrinkled and grey haired. about 4 years ago I guess it was, while i was out with friends, a psychic(known around town, sweet man) held my hand there in front of them and said, "she'll never get old, she's forever young".. it still makes me smile. you see, i guess i genuinely get confused when people ask my age, because i really can't put a "number" on it... am I 18, or am I 21? I don't know when my body stopped maturing. i mean, what is 29, 28 if time is an illusion? it gets somewhat confusing when you are told you are too old to do this, too young to know any better... ahhh me love freya

Hi Freya, What you just said reminded me of something. Perhaps Aquarians are less negative than other people, I don't know. I do know several Aquarians who won't tolerate anything negative being said around them, but I think your statement that you don't respond in a negative way, says even more. Thinking negatively is aging, thinking positively leads to being always young. I realize people often think of certain Aquarians as having Pollyanna personalities depending on where other planets are in their birthchart and for some reason they think that is not realistic. But why not, if a person sees things as positive, then it must be for them. This certainly will keep them healthier and happier. So it seems like you are certainly on the right path. Love, Dolphin2

Just a little light in the attic: The are the strangers in your 24/7 world. They keep you out of danger; they keep you safe and warm. And they love you with all their heart and soul. You go about your business, doing what you do. They laugh and giggle and tell you that you're cute, and how wonderful it is to have a child like you. Through a child's eyes, you see the world so big. All your friends are forever, and your life will never end, and you never think about tomorrow. Only today is on your mind. Everything is new, and everything is right. It's such a simple time to laugh and play and smile, and you do it so well. Grown-ups could learn a thing or two. Life goes on around you everyday. All your hopes and dreams are so far away. Mother and father know the things to do for one so small, where time does not exist for you.

Children can teach us a lot. You should watch the way they move, interact, talk, sing, and love life. I love the character Phoebe on FRIENDS who likes to act like a child, peaceful and romantic. This is what adults should model. Through a child's eyes, everything is grand, everything is wonderful!!! Children have no concept of time, they have no concept of death, they have no concept of sickness, anger, aggression. We teach them these things. There's more to it than that, but we are responsible for children who grow into bitter adults. Growing is essential. The body must grow to maturity, and our cells are revamped every five to ten years. So, we're always growing physically. But if we don't grow mentally, as well, we will simply grow into old age. People who resist change and who simply stop growing also stop living. Walk the endless path and live on!!!

Thank you, Freya, for starting this new thread! I, too, have a WebTV, and I couldn't even pull up my own posts! You, my dear, took the initiative and solved this for all of us! Are you interested in starting your own business? You should! You have the qualities you need to succeed! Peace.

Hi, again, Freya. I forgot to answer your question. I do apologize. How do I do it? I LIE! I am in college as a Master's student, so I have to say at least 22 to sound believable. It works! People really do change their perceptions of you based on what they "think" your age is. To any immortal wannabes out there, if you have already begun to "show" your solar years in your body or face, you will need to reverse this process. This is difficult, because the results are not instant, and you will see your old S-elf in the mirror each day. Here's what to do: 1. Realize that you didn't grow old overnight, and you will not grow young overnight (unless you are an avatar, and THAT is another essay entirely)! 2. Come to the realization at this moment that you ORDAIN a thought transformation in which you grow younger with each passing day. Let me explain: "Time" is a difficult illusion to come over (overcome). So, use that belief to your advantage. If time has a real power because of your belief, then simply reverse the polarity. Put the gear shift in "R"! 3. Say the following at least once a day (and as often as you can): "Every day in every way, I am getting younger and younger, and I REFUSE to die!" 4. Celebrate each day with joy, because as each solar day goes by, you are one day younger! Your birthday is now truly a day to rejoice--one full year younger!! Congratulations!!! 5. NEVER reveal the correct year of your birth! And 6. Always strive to learn new things. We walk an endless path, and when we stop growing and learning and expanding our consciousness, we begin to die. Blessed be.

Dear Deathnomore, You seem to be very actively posting today, so I hope you are around to answer this question. Couldn't we be even more pro-active and in addition to what you have suggested here - meditate on the DNA strands in our bodies from the top which is like viewing a beautiful Lotus Blossom and envisioning them as everlasting and youthful? Just wondering?! Light and Rainbows, Dolphin2

Hey, Pat! I don't count at all either, but I wanted to give those who have some signs of chrono age a way that would help them to reverse their spirals while they reprogram their brains to realize that time is an illusion. What do you think? For example, if you are 30 in solar years, and you start on your 30th birthday, the aging would be neutral (so a day is not a day) and would go backwards. So on your 31st birthday, you would be 30, and then 29, and so on. In reality the reversal is faster than that, but it is a good start for changing error-filled thought patterns.

Hi, Dale. That sounds terrific! There is no "right" path to immortality. Whatever works best for you. It's like Wicca--belief is important, but there is no substitute for writing your own spells! BTW, I heard that you are getting a special gift from one of our Knowflakes. You deserve it! Bye, sweetie!

Hi, everyone! If it's okay with you, Freya, I will be hanging out exclusively here in this thread if anyone wants to talk to me. For some reason, this thread attracts the most enlightened (or those genuinely seeking enlightenment). Like its predecessor, it is a friendly, playful, and nonjudgmental thread. Perhaps it is the title that attracts the best. I don't know. All I know is that I love it here! Thanks again, Freya, for starting Part 2. Peace.
