Thank you for your prayers. I send mine out to the Gods everyday as well. After almost 5 years of hell I have much to be thankful for. Just the chance to be ME again and not have to be ashamed of what I believe in or any 'gifts' I was born with. Not having to suppress a major part of myself because it scared someone else and they didnt believe it was right or normal. I' SOOOOOO glad it wasnt lost forever because of my own S-elf and the choices I made. Having the opportunity everyday to learn and grow and remember!!!!!! AND to teach my children what I can without fear of riticule or retribution. And their own value and worth so they NEVER end up in a similar situation when I becomes their time in life to begin making their own decisions about what to do with it..........

He's gone! He's finally gone! Ahhh, a sigh of relief. Now I won't have to deal with him again until March. Maybe I'll go to that island I can get an overnight divorce and remarry before he comes back! That would serve him right!

Good Evening Ladies,
This looks like a very interesting thread, especially since sweet Moonglow has just been singing my favorite song, and as I scrolled down I noticed single mums here.
I'm going back to the very top to read it all. Did you all have a happy New Year?

First things First. I'd like to thank you all for your lOvely wishes. I did visualize that waterfall a couple of times. It was very relaxing. By the time I got back on the bus to return home, I was to tired to visualize anything. It was an Adventure, from begining to end. I got to re-learn a lot of things about myS-elf. I sure know how to have a lot of fun. It's a good thing I'm not full of fear. The bus was supposed to drop me off close to where my sister lives. Instead, I landed in one of the worst neighborhoods in Chicago. I was trying to find a city bus to take me to where my sister was waiting for me when I met this African-American Taxi driver. He told me that for $10.00 he would drive me to where I wanted to go. We took off across the street and come to find out, his Taxi was a big yellow school bus. He turned out to be one of the nicest guys. This is one time I am so glad that I can trust my own instincts. I put my little feelers out and there were none of those nagging feelings that I have gotten before and didn't pay attention to. That is when we get into trouble, Ladies. The thought that he could have harmed me didn't cross my mind until someone else brought it up. I have come across dangerous people before, and every time I knew in my gut that there was something terribly wrong. This guy got my visit off to a very funny start. My sister was laughing so hard she could hardly speak when she saw me. Come to find out that when she saw a Gray Hound and a school bus coming into the station at the same time, she told her daughter, "Watch my crazy sister get off the school bus." My taxi driver thought it was pretty funny too as he put my luggage in the trunk of her car.

I could go on and on about all the things I did while I was gone, but it would take more energy than I am left with. But, I can't leave without telling you about my New Year's Eve. I had a date that night. My first since my divorce. I knew I was waiting for someone special. He is not my Twin Soul, I'll probably never see him again, but we sure had a lot of laughs together. I was with my sister and the guy she is going to marry and their friend, Johnny B. (I still don't know his last name) We danced up a storm. At the stroke of mid-night we toasted each other with champain and at that moment, the DJ played my song. I brought this year in dancing to Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers. Couldn't have done it any better if I tried. I just know it is a good omen and as soon as I get rested up from this trip, I'll be ready for more Miracles. And here's wishing you all Miracles of your own. They sure can be fun!!!

Hi Lindy Great to see you back here Go JPY!!!

Wow Freebird! Don't you love those adventures! Your sense of spirit is to be cherished. I'm glad you had a lovely New Year, I love it when special songs come on, it's like a little 'reward' isn't it! I was a little apprehensive getting on my flight back to Perth when lo and behold a Monk gets on my flight before everyone else!!!!!!!!! I asked the stewardess his name and she just glowed and said his name was Monk Lop of Cambodia, he'd just said his prayers but she warned me not to approach him since he couldn't be addressed by women, so I was disappointed at that but he looked at me really deeply at the Taxi stand in Sydney - so there was a nice little moment anyway, without the need for words!

Love moonglow

Welcome back Freebird! It sounds like you had a good trip!

Hi Searching! Good to see you back too! Wow, everyone was gone and coming back!

Searching, I went back to work yesterday and won't be able to go anywhere until March during Spring Break. My husband will be flying back down but he always seems to come the week after vacation and my kids end up getting two weeks off for Spring Break. That's cool with me because they get a week with each of us, although I end up spending both weeks with them. I can't do it this year, I have to work and probably won't be able to take the week off. Last year we took them to 6 Flags together and I met Daniel, hmm, maybe I will take the week off!

Moonglow, I love your story! I never knew Monks couldn't talk to women before! That's wild! I wonder the reasoning behind that one!

Love,
Auriel

Welcome back too Searching thanks for my welcoming, it's GREAT to be back! Silliness is FUN!

Hey Auriel Yeah, I never knew either, perhaps it was just in Monk Lop's case??? I'd never seen a Monk for 'real' before! I was so amazed, he had lovely big round brown eyes. I wonder if any of the Knowflakes could let us know the reasoning behind the ban on addressing women?

Love, moonglow

Love,
Auriel

BTW, Krystal, I keep getting your email messages back with fatal error. I received your package today and thank you! I used the medicine tonight. She's going to an ENT this week because the infection is back again. Oh yah, if you email me, I'll send you my best friend's email address. He's driving me crazy through ICQ right now asking me a million and one questions, plus the other Daniel is on-line too and all I want to do is go to bed! ARGH!

Does ICQ drive anyone else crazy??? It's almost 2AM, I'm sick and want to go to bed and there are 6 people on-line who want to talk to me. ARRGGHH!!!! Who invented this thing anyway???? I'll never have quiet in my life on-line again. I love it when I'm in the mood to deal with it but I'm on Invisible and they know I'm here anyway! I don't know why I dl it and use it when I have Neptune aspects with the people on my list! ESP works faster anyway!

Hello you lovely Ladies and Greg too if you are still brave enough to be checking in on a "Ladies Night" thread.

I was just going to check in and see what everybody else was doing before I left to run some errands, but now I can't leave until I make a reply to what you said about music, Moonglow. I was thinking about what you brought up before I got on the web. It probably has a lot to do with my Venus trine Neptune, but music has always had very special meaning to me. It has brought me so many special, Magical moments. Moments where I feel like I have been transported to another Magical demention. When that DJ played my all time favorite song at that particular moment in my life, I felt like the powers that be were trying to tell me something. The more I think about it, the more certain I am that something very good is going to happen. My disasterous marriage is in the past where it belongs. I've taken three years to heal and now I'm ready to get back to the wonderful, Magical life I once had. And music will always be a part of it.

I really do need to get going, but I will be back. Here's a salute to Love and Laughter. May all of you catch a falling star and put it in your pocket!!!

On the musical note (tee hee), I seem to have a meaning strung with most of my favourite songs, but no matter how happy or sad the memories or meanings are, they only sem to make the song even stronger

And as for New years eve.... I had the best one ever
I surf and live in a little island called Jersey (part of the channel islands...does anyone know of it??), so I spent this new years eve in the best place possible for me....on the beach where I surf
I opened a bottle of champers with my two bestmates on the shore, then I ran upto my knees into the sea!! On the stroke of midnight 4 different fireworks displays went off and the whole bay (5 miles 'sh long), lit up.....it was amazing : New years eve was actually my 21st birthday too!!! So it was all soo c l!! Then I went o a party in town with loads of other friends!!

What was also nice was that my ex-boyfriend (who I went out wiht for 3&1/2 years), was at the pub with us at first (with his new girlfriend...which was hard!), and we saw them later on in the evening and I think that me and him may actually manage to become good friends again, as we got on really well before!!!

Sorry I blabbled on sooo long, I just wanted to share that with you!!!! Let's hope that this new year brings happyness too everyone, and that we all acheive everything we want!!! : and try for !

Keep happy
loadsa luv

Oh Freebird

"...save it for a rainy day..."

My Mom would sing that to me as a child, I just LOVE that song, I had forgotten about it. Thank you so much for reminding me of that beautiful TUNE

It seems to me you're a Shooting Star...

Rubia I'm a beach gal too, but I don't surf, what a double delight for New Year's being your birthday too, Happy Belated Birthday for the 31st!

Hi Pippi, Welcome to the site Yet another beach babe I saw in the new 'Age' with my Dad and my family, it was so wonderful. He was delighted since we spent Christmas with Mom miles away The kids decided to hang with the folks rather than going to a party, it was great, we stayed with them because we wanted to

Hey Ladies !

I must be getting old 'cause it was just about the quietest New Years I've ever had. And that was just fine. I'm about "peopled" out.I work with kids and holiday vacations just mean overtime to me.
Before the kids got out of school--all I could think was how great it would be when they were all home---how we could all sleep in and get some rest. (When Donkey's fly !!)
By the time we got to New Years --I couldn't wait for school to start again -- so I could take an afternoon "nappy" and get some rest.

Actually New Years was a huge milestone for me. A one year anniversary of last years resolution.
I am Woman hear me roar------wouldn't it be cool to have musical notes on here to go with the smile faces ?
I sure am looking forward to this year. But for the life of me --(? ! ) I really don't know why. sometimes I think I might be out here laughing by myself.--
Well you know--in this good old world--you can stand on a street corner and cry all day---you stand there and laugh--they'll take you away....

Love and giggles,

Searching

Did I hear someone say beach?

Freebird I love it! That's hysterical! I was roaring and had to quiet down because all my kids are in bed asleep. Sounds like your first date was a blast. Good for you. I love being free and single. Well, I guess I'm not legally but who cares? I am in my heart. Speaking of the husband, I actually spent New Year's Eve with him and the kids. We went to a block party and set off tons of fireworks and sparklers and I even had a glass of good champagne. It was a really pleasant night.

Speaking of music ladies, tonight was so awesome. I took my oldest daughter out for dinner and then to see Annie. They did a spectacular job with it. My daughter was so excited to see her favorite musical being performed that I couldn't keep her still in her seat. She was bouncing all over the place and wanting to sing with them. She was soooo beautiful tonight. She had on a long, creamy, flaired gown with gold appliques and a little matching jacket that is all the rave right now. Her hair was curled and pinned up with butterfly clips with wispys falling all over. With Venus in Leo she naturally has a magnetic appeal but tonight she was really shining!

Love,
Auriel
