Hi Joyce, yep, this is the biggest can of worms in Lindaland!

Linda never revealed her exact birthdate (and even went to some elaborate lengths to conceal it!) apparently in keeping with her idea that setting a definite chronological age for yourself locks you into the programmed expectation of aging.

She did acknowledge April 9 as her Birthday, but never specified a year. The most widely accepted date is April 9, 1925, but there's no certainty at all that this is correct. It's also uncertain if she was born in Parkersburg or nearby Morgantown, West Virginia, and the time is unknown.

Hi all,

I do have an actual document, filled out and signed by a teenage Mary Alice Kemery (in the same nice round script as she later used when she signed things "Linda Goodman"), and in the document she lists her birthdate as 4-9-1925 and her birth place at a particular street address in Morgantown. That info matches up properly with the dates of her enrollment in grammar school and the year of her high school graduation. As I recall, there is a very slight discrepancy between all of that and her Baptismal record as provided directly to me by the church, but the pastor explained that away in a manner that made good sense. I've got this all in my files. Only thing is I need a secretary to help me get my files in order. Any volunteers? Lol.

WOW, WriteOn! I didn't know you wrote that article! It is absolutely terrific. I have been sending people to that link, but I had no idea it was you who wrote it.

There are two schools of thought on this. One is that Linda really didn't want others to know her exact birth data (for reasons encompassing those acknowledged by Greg). As such, perhaps we should honor Linda's wishes. But the other school of thought is that Linda just wanted us to work for it. Many have sleuthed it out from the clues she has given. Maybe that is what she wanted after all.

Joyce -- I took in a pit bull who needed me too! Poor guy has a broken tail and a forever-lump on his head from who-knows-what when he was too tiny to tell. He's so ugly he's cute. Scary looking, but incorrigibly sweet.

I thought my PET bull's tail was broken also, because it never wagged. Started wagging after 2 and 1/2 years of getting constantly spoiled rotten (have had him 3 years now). It just took that long for the little darling to feel secure enough to laugh.

"Jaws of Steel; Heart of Gold" - that's my baby. He is a dog of all dogs, although I was terrified of him in the beginning. He sure taught me a thing or two about "judging a book by its' cover". He wouldn't hurt a flea, and only uses his teeth for smiling.
Loving and devoted - I have also come to think this brindle colored scarred dog is a rare beauty.

I knew you were going to write back about owning a pitbull. I studied your first post for a while and wondered if there were clues somewhere in the post. Have you mentioned your pit bull before? Maybe I read about it previously.

Alright everyone, did a little homework. I did a Possible chart for her for the times 12:00 AM 12:00 PM, and 11:59 PM For the states of California CA, Texas (City in AL named Texas I guess) AL, Milwuakee Wisconsin, New York NY, and West Virginia. Giving me a total of all 15 Chart possiblities for her. They say she might of been born in West Virginia but we don't "know" so I That's why I did most of the extremes for boarder lines of the mainlands of the US.
-In Total her Sun was Aries of course
-Moon was Libra in 10 of the Charts, from 12Am to 12pm, so somewhere between 12pm and 11:59pm it changes to Scorpio where it's in 5 of the charts
All the ones below are 99% likely to be in her chart IF the information recieved from this board is true.
Mercury was in Taurus
Venus in Aries
Mars in Gemini
Jupiter in Capricorn
Saturn in Scorpio
Uranus in Pisces
Neptune in Leo
Pluto in Cancer
True Node in Leo
Chiron in Aries

Possible Asc's where Cancer, Leo, and Saggie. As for planetary placements it's hard to tell.

Not sure if that's much help or if it's any new information to anyone but it's what I got from doing a buncha charts.

Is is just me or does her natal not really say writter??? In a million years if confronted with this as a natal I wouldn't ahv epicked that up as career.

I humbly disagree, Tink. Though I have not actually looked at her natal chart (and assuming that what we have about her birth data is correct), I have heard that the following applies to Linda's chart: The Neptune conjunction to her Leo Rising very harmoniously Trined the conjunction of her Sun, Venus, and Chiron in Aries in her 9th House. This is, of course, the House of publishing, Tink! Linda's Aries Sun and Leo Rising combined with the strong Scorpio Moon in her 3rd House (which is conjunct Wise Taskmaster Saturn) granted her the ability to PERMANENTLY sway the masses through her words. Spells writer to me. Of course, I'm leaning more toward Linda having a Libra Moon.

It looks like your process was an averaging.
It comes out the same and so we know she was born in WV on April 9, 1925
So the missing item was the ACS and I can’t guess from her pix’s.
I get Cancer, Scorpio, and Aries hints but the Scorpio is diffidently Saturn.
I see water in her face so Cancer but that makes her personality different.
So you average comes up with Cancer, Leo, Saggy ACS’s.
An average of those is Libra. This matches my time and the houses make since,
ACS 9 Libra, First house Moon to absorb the feeling of others.
Second house Saturn in Scorpio. Her intense feelings were hidden but not secret. Saturn is the expert, so she already has been there and done that.
7th house Aries and Taurus loaded with planets. Partnerships, friendships, associations, sincere Aries yet shallow and shy Taurus, yet passionate of the signs.
Pluto in Cancer on the MC – Intense inter emotions, maybe reinforced by the male dominated time of her youth. Some of her poem brings this out in that she is with men that are boring her to tears without the understanding of a left defensive tackle on steroids.
Mars in Gemini, she writes like Dani talks (posts). Nuff said.
Neptune and NN in Leo – A cry in the wilderness for spiritual understanding.
Her dreams and direction, she had to write, she had to say it, even if no one around her was listening.
Uranus in 6th Pisces – A tuff place to be, hard to love an entire world of warring ruff necks.

Randall, all spelndid reason, but maybe it's the time of day thing but the chart just doens't really scream writter to me cos Merc isn't that prominant (cos it's not aspected...dough!).....I remember messing around with her birth data at one point not sure if it was with days or years but I ended up with a star of david which I thoguth was very cool at the time.

Thanks for the poem and parable and advice.

Out of control? No, no, heehee, not that. Actually I was sprialing on the Jesus lessons, because that was indeed what he did, wasn't it? If you take the story at face value, that was much of his mission: suffering alongside "us" while "we" learned...

Anyway, my point about alliances... I'm not talking about casual alliances or spiraling out of control in other people's lives... When the alliance is a very close one (e.g., and just PURELY for example , think marriage) the lessons one spouse faces surely bear upon the other spouse's life as well... just purely for example. I'm pretty sure that much of the current situation that I am experiencing as quite rough is about something my husband is struggling to come to terms with. But it also affects my life in very obvious, unavoidable, concrete and material ways. But he is a private-type Scorpio, so I don't want to go into it in detail. Cancel that -- I wouldn't mind going into it in detail, but he wouldn't want me to, so I'll respect his privacy.

It is wrong of me to be giving you advice. I've already done too much of that in my life - and - I don't know even know what is going on with you! From your posts,though, you seem strong, assured, and ready to take action. I'm like that, too. I just assumed we were similar. My hardest lessons have been to just wait and to do nothing. Trying, trying, trying, trying, trying - I can't always get my way with hard work. STILL SUCH A SHOCKING PRINCIPLE TO UNDERSTAND

Not at all, Joyce. I need advice as much as the next feller, and yours was an obvious expression of kindness. I need all of those I can get.

I had a twin soul doggie for sure. She was a tiny but tough and extremely intelligent little butterfly dog (a papillon) who came to me in New Mexico back in the early '80s and was my constant companion until she went to heaven in 1998. A very pure soul!

Don't you all see the puzzle here though? Think about how much information we have, if the info given on this forum was true all those aspect I gave earlier should be true. I think we should all put together and think about the next peice of the puzzle... finding the next big peace would be the Asc. as Proxymoon said. It is interesting you said you see cancer in her face. I'll try tomorrow but I think if I find out all the aspects that are possible with a Cancer asc, they may describe her in more detail, more possible planets/house aspects, and others. I've always been so curious to know hers.
