...has come home to my house. That's the big news that I've been so thrilled about, so thoroughly vibrating on, that I couldn't find words to say it. When I heard about the sale here (it turns out it wasn't really an auction; things were pre-priced) I went to the web page of the auction house and read through the listing of items and the phrase that jumped out was secretary desk and matching file cabinet, and I thought, oh! I would have liked those. And when I called them to ask if anything was left, he said, "Yes, a couple of secretary desks and a filing cabinet that matches reasonably well." I made my drive down there a meditation, so I took the Phantom Canyon road, 15 mph, 20 mph. I was, I guess, the last of the last. The people with various claims to Linda's things had taken what was theirs, the people at the public sale had purchased what they chose, even the other day late and a dollar short buyers like me had apparently come through. And the last of the last of what was left was waiting for me as if I had put in my order in advance. These are not pretty things at all! They are totally utilitarian, but just right for a writer, and with all the moaning I've been doing about getting my files in order and getting going -- isn't this just the inspiring kick in the pants. A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down. Linda used this home office furniture a lot. The hanging folders that once held her files are all neatly labeled in her hand. Harper & Row, Mannu, bunches of topics. The discarded bits and sheafs in the desk drawers, too, shout Linda, unlike the detritus in the drawers of the other desk, which was the same large size, but which I concluded was for her assistant. (She did have an assistant with much of her writing.) There is more to this story that still can't be named. There are things that couldn't have been in there, but are. I felt truly visited by Linda Monday, after the drive home on the paved road, heart full of thanks and truck full of treasure. I felt her very fully present here at the house. And I felt a shiny gladness. Ssoo, there are things I'm still kind of flipping out on here. That's why I'm dancing. Great big Yippee! Maria

Oh Maria, That is fantastic - like a dream come true. This is truly a treasure to come your way. Very excited for you and a doing a couple of big Yippees for you too, but I don't think you would want to see me dance . Was this what you were talking about in the dream thread?? You would not believe what happened today. I can't even find the words to tell it yet. Not a bad thing at all. Very electrifying. And something like a dream. You really kept Lis and me in suspense . Luv, Sabra

Yes, and I didn't mean to be coy, but it's hard to talk when your mouth's hanging open. Maria

Whoa Maria, that's wonderful news! There are no coincidences, eh? I'm still waiting for the naming of the unnamed, though. about the things that "couldn't have been in there, but are." What an inspiration and blessing! Love, Greg

Obviously, as mentioned in other threads in this Linda forum, this is where the tape came from, which I translated into computer files and sent to Greg for him to post, which is now here: http://consciousevolution.com/Astrology/LostTapes.htmThere were also a great many other things I received within the desk and file cabinet. They'll be known ... in time. I'm sorry that some things take time. Maria
