Speaking of Gooberz and Star Signs... and what it hints to as far as Egypt goes... I just wanted to let people know that on March 2nd on the fox network, there will be a televised show of some opening of tombs and chambers that haven't seen the light in thousands of years. Thanks for the tip. Egypt is so fascinating, and there is an ocean of Truth to be learned from those who built the Giza pyramids and the Sphinx. There are a few renengade authors who have made some claims that don't sit well with the Ph.D.s in Egyptology (including Zahi Hawass, though he seems to be coming around). Those authors are: John Anthony West, Graham Hancock, and Robert Bauval. I have been so grateful for their daring, provocative work. I am so excited to hear that you were able to go to Egypt. It has been a dream of mine to go ever since I can remember! There is a conference scheduled in May for Egypt and it is open to the public. I can't wait to hear what you have to share about Osiris, and Isis. I HAVE SUCH PASSION REGARDING EGYPT, so if I go on and on, sorry. I know what you mean about Dr. Hawass. I am a regular listener of Art Bell's Coast to Coast radio talk show. He keeps his listeners up-to-date about what is going on over in Egypt. He knows Dr. Hawass. It has been said that Dr. Hawass was going to close the GREAT PYRAMID forever. He doesn't understand why people want to visit there anyway, it's just a tomb. I think otherwise, as I have learned, others do as well. Many people feel that digs are happening all over the Giza Plateau(it has been investigated), with ancient relics being found that would astound the world about man's origins. Also, a chamber under the Sphinx has been found, possibly the "hall of records" that Edgar Cayce spoke of, but Hawass is reluctant. PEOPLE WANT THE TRUTH...

It's wonderful that so many of us have an acute Egypt fascination! I'm definitely tuning in to FOX on Tuesday night. If you have a chance before then (or after), check out the video _The Mystery of the Sphinx_. It is based on the research of John Anthony West and is hosted by Charlton Heston. Zahi Hawass is featured in it. The book _The Message of the Sphinx_, by Graham Hancock and Robert Bauval, is great follow-up to the video. I do believe Zahi is mentioned in the book as well.

Did anyone watch the special on Egypt tonight? I want to know what others thought about it. For some reason, I was very disappointed. It just wasn't what I had expected. I have been waiting for answers that I just deeply know exist on that Plateau and nothing was answered tonight. Everything just seemed too contrived. I have so many questions about Egypt and my passion runs so deep. I wish I could go there in May. Too bad there wasn't some sort of fundraising event that could be put together for a trip for us seekers, a trip to Egypt... a trip for Linda's fans... or should I say students? I wonder if that was really Osiris' tomb as Dr. Hawass stated?

I can't say that I was disappointed by the Egypt special because I wasn't really expecting anything new and exciting from Dr. Hawass. And my husband and I both had the feeling it was staged. However, I was pleased to see air time given to those, in my opinion, with more enlightened ideas on Egypt: Edgar Cayce, John Anthony West, Graham Hancock, and Robert Bauval. Hawass, of course, got the last word, but his claims that the alternative views somehow disparage the Egyptian people makes no sense to me. Since when is truth insulting? I think it's more of an insult to imply that the Egyptians would not be considered a wonderful people if in fact they did not directly descend from the Giza Plateau builders. And Hawass's (the traditional) explanation of how the Great Pyramid was built is laughable. (See Mystery of the Sphinx.)

Has anyone read The Mars Message, by Graham Hancock? The claim is that earth was seeded by martians fleeing their planet when it was hit by a large asteroid. If we really are descended from martians, could this have something to do with Isis always incarnating as an Aries? Just speculation . . .

There are many, many articles posted there about how Earth was populated and the story of the destruction of Maldek, now the remains of this planet is known as the asteroid belt. Gooberz makes mention of the destruction of this planet, when Linda was "speaking" to Heathcliff. There's a lot of articles on that site that are definitely worth a read and then there are others, which you shouldn't even bother looking through. Tonnes of references that Linda makes mention of or Gooberz "hints" at (for the reader with alert eyes and ears) including the Compte de St-Germaine, the hollow earth theory, where some UFO's really come from etc.

A must-see site for anyone who wants to take their questioning to a higher level.

I have to agree with you on the way you feel about the Pyramids. Especially the Great Pyramid. Many a people think this a machine of some sort... with 7 chambers above and 7 below. Also, many think it was a place of healing as well. It's funny you mention the granite box, the one in the Great Pyramid... Art Bell was describing last night, his laying in that box. He said he knew no known words to describe his feeling, except this: He said when he laid in the box, he made a noise and began laughing, becuase he felt a little silly at first, then he stopped laughing because he felt this strong vibration, he called it cellular... it was so amazing he said. I would love to feel what he felt that day in the Great Pyramid... perhaps I have another life... like I said, my passion runs Deep. I did like the fact they let Hancock, Bauval, West and Hoagland... and Cayce's ideas be expressed... perhaps planting more seeds to the world about this magical place! Maybe more will get involved. Dr. Hawass... I pray one day he will open his mind more. I think very soon, though, he will get the shock of his life! Truth has it's way of coming out...

Also, as I was listening to Art Bell's program last night, he had on a Richard C. Hoagland. They will be sitting up a program next week all about what is going on in Egypt and such. Richard was on the Fox program last night. It will be a interesting program. When I find out when it is, I'll let people know.

With all the tunnels found on the Plateau, imagine what else lies under the sand. As a matter of fact, I can't remember the city's name, but there in the desert, in Egypt, people were digging about 450 feet down to find some water to irrigate some land I believe. Then they struck what I call GOLD! They found a temple, a city buried under the sand and under that one, ANOTHER! The point being... when they dated it, it was older than what the Egyptologists say the Pyramids are, you know, circa 2500 BC. I mean, WAY older. This is definitely a hint of something!

Hi, Tino. There is a video called "The Mystery of the Sphinx." That is an excellent place to start, and many public libraries have it. Second, I would recommend a book titled "The Message of the Sphinx," by Graham Hancock and Robert Bauval. Third, you may wish to read Graham Hancock's book "The Mars Mystery." Also, a good book on Egyptian symbology is "Serpent in the Sky," by John Anthony West. If you do web searches on any of these authors' names, you will be led to related sites.

Thanks for the links and information. I definitely would like to hear that radio program.

I was unable to watch the fox special the night it aired so I taped it and watched it last evening. I have not been following this for as long as some of you but I personally thought that Dr. Zahi Hawass was not telling us the whole truth and found it coincidental that he just happened to find "treasure" in the exact spots that he brushed the sand away from. I also remember him stating that he did not plan to disturb the so-called mummy of Osiris. However at the end of the show it was revealed that he intended to remove it and perform tests. I would have to say that I believe that a huge cover-up has been taking place.
I went to the web site that Aurora had given us at angelfire.com/ak/DESERTLION/index.html and read John Carlo's statement on the fox special and I would have to agree with him that Hawass deserves an Academy award for best actor. If anyone is interested, he has also posted some latest news on the link "Well shaft opening and latest news."

Oh my! I have some sad news. RICHARD C. HOAGLAND who was on that Fox Egypt special has suffered a massive heart attack in Miami, Florida. He will not be on Art's show Tuesday, March 9th. Does anyone know anything about the Great Debate in Egypt coming up soon. I have heard different dates. The last I heard it was going to be on May 8th.
